The Steel Horse Brimming with good ale and good company. On most nights. Nights when the waitresses (if any) would laugh and possible flirt with the guests. Where they would bank in tips, Nights where Ole' Pat the bartender occasionally smiled and even grunted a few words here and there. Then there were other nights when thieves and murderers overrun the poor pub. Nights where the waitresses backed out the door when approaching, saving themselves from beatings-or worse. Nights where Pat ran out of liquor early and kept his pistol visible for all to see. Nights where people died, mostly innocent people. Tonight was a good night, an easy night. He had come in two nights before and it was filled with ruffians. Not that they bothered him, but he did keep a waitress from getting stabbed. Ole' Pat owed him a favor. He walked up to the Bar and sat directly in front of the chubby man. The bar tender raised his eyes for a second before looking back to the glasses he was always polishing. "Eh M'friend. What is it that you want tonigh'?" He laughed at the bartender. "You know Pat, yo have the funniest accent I have ever heard. Are you English, Irish, or something else?"The end of the question had more meaning than anyone else would pick up on. He forced the man to make eye contact with him, he wanted to say no, that he wasn't an other. Other. Thats what Kaden preferred to call himself, he hated the word Vampire. Pat understood. Alot of his customers were others and as long as he didn't end up drained he didn't mind them. Pat shook his head. "Me mum werse a whore nd i am jest a basturd. i gotts alittl' of evrythin' i 'pose, but nothin' two fancee, if you b know'n whut i meen." Kade smiled. "Not like me I suppose, then friend."He added a wink. Pat had known what Kaden was, he knew the moment he had walked through the shabby doors. But he had helped Sally so he was a friend Vampire or not. Kaden had asked about Arielle. Not Arielle...the bartender had thought. She was his favorite waitress. Light and bubbly. He had told Kaden that she waitressed occasionally, but she blew in and out. He never knew when she would show up or how many nights she would stay. Kaden had come every night since then. Waiting and hoping for her arrival. He did not want to go back onto her land...it would scare her too badly. He didn't want to scare her. He didn't know what he wanted yet, but definitely it was not to scare her. He chatted with Pat and other customers, but was ever watchful of the door for his Arielle.

Auralie sat in a back table. Her leg gracefully resting atop of the bar stool beside of her. She glazed lazily about The Steel Horse. There would be no prey for her here tonight. It was too quiet. She began to pay an interest when a man walked into the pub. He was a vampire.A young one. She watched him walk across the stretch of the pub to the bar and listened in on the small talk that engulfed the two. She smiled and thought to herself. Poor little boy. Does your little human not want to come out and play with you? She stood and sauntered over to them, acknowledging the low whistles and cat call she received with her middle finger in the air. She quietly slid on the stool beside him and smirked.
"You must be new around here cowboy. Not too many of us go out and search for little girls to hang out with. Someone should warn her, curiosity killed the cat."
She knew he would understand her emphasis on the word us. A part of her wanted him to be angry and insulted. She wanted a confrontation-a heated one. Then who knows, it could lead to another type of heated session. The other half of her pitied him. Vampire and mortal relationships did not work. Ever. He should know that. They all should know that. She should've known that. But her two experiences in the mixed affair had ended up breaking her heart, turning her bitter and cold. She hated Humans, She hated Vampires. She hated everything. Deciding to go with her first impression...she stretched her limits further...
"So when you find your little bar maid, what are you going to do with her? Seduce her...led her on and then just ditch her....Are you going to feed of of her, drain her dry..."
She moved closer so their bodies her touching and she pressed her lips to his ear. Her whispers harsh and cruel.
"...no. not you. are you going to pretend you're a human, pretend to have a busy life during the day? woo her at night and after she falls in love with you...then are you going to tell her your dirty little secret? Do you think she'll love you then? She'll fall into your arms and beg you to turn her?"
She laughed. It was cold and harsh. She moves away from him.
"poor boy, what a sticky situation you are trying to get yourself in...I'll make it easy for you, I'll find her first and I'll decide which fate she gets."

He looked at the sad creature that sat before him. Locking eyes with her, his face holding a stern and grim expression, he thought carefully about his response... "I feel sorry for you, for your anger. You must be a very sad and lonely being. To say something so hurtful and so full of hatred to someone you do not know and about someone you have never met."He extended his hand, proposing a friendly shake. "I will only do this once. I am truly sorry for your pain, and i hope one day it will cease. You are far too beautiful to be full of such black ugliness. My name is Kaden. i am from New York and I am currently visiting London. Obviously you have already heard why. Take my hand in friendship or walk away. It is your choice, miss." He would not take her bait. He had been around Vampires like her before. Both male and female. They were always searching for something the did not or could not have. And he felt sorry for her. She had two choices and he hoped she chose the right one.

She glared at him, refusing to back down she placed a firm grasp into his awaiting hand.
"My name is Auralie, but you should know i dont need nor want you as a Friend. Kaden. I need no one and i take what i want. Do you understand?"
her eyes burned fierce green as she stared defiantly at him. " But i bet your pretty little girlfriend would like me as a friend.

He gripped her hand tighter and pulled her up close to him, growling in her ear.
"You touch her, talk to her, even look at her in a way that bothers me you will have the worst day of your life. Even worse than the day that bastard of a vampire sired you and then abandoned you. that is what happened, isn't it kitten?" His eyes burned a peircing blue and he dared her to open her mouth and respond. His body was shaking and he had a violent urge to pucnh her across her face, but that would lower him to her standards. He wasn't like her. He could control his emotions. He released her roughly. pushing he back against the bar. He then stood, never taking his eyes off of the femme Vampire.
"Sorry about that old friend. I know you were looking forward to a quite night. I'll be headed out now. See you soon."
It was unclear who the last comment was made to, but as he exited The Steel Horse the doors slammed loudly behind him. He would walk off his anger, maybe though some private woods....
