[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] Marius was a little taken aback, and okay a little turned on by her obvious glee at the mention of tipping. It was incredibly rare that you met a woman who looked at danger and the outlook of possible pain with so much, anticipation. He really wished that he had his leather jacket all of sudden, and that he’d thought to grab the helmets out of the back. Then they could thoroughly wreck and have no worries. It was something he’d done before, he was shocked that she wanted to something similar. He tightened his grip on her as she took off and smiled widely.
“Just try not to hurt my baby too much.” He whispered, patting his motorcycle reverently. As traffic whizzed by his smile grew. It was fun riding on a motorcycle solo, but somehow sharing the experience with someone only made it better. Though he did feel a little emasculated sitting behind the woman, since it was usually the other way around. Oh well, he was perfectly okay with being a biker babe for one ride. Growing a little more comfortable with her driving and the speed at which they were going, Marius unwrapped his arms from around her and leaned back, holding on to the back of the seat for balance. They whipped past cars left and right, weaving in and out of the traffic on the road. Pedestrians on the sidewalk were talking about them after they passed, remarking on the crazy ass lady and her boy toy. Marius snorted at that comment and shook his head.
Boy toy…not hardly. However, the joy that she seemed to be having on this ride certainly gave him an idea of what he could give her as a present at some point. From what he’d seen, she seemed to like pink. There were a few motorcycles at the local shop that he could get for her that were or had pink in them. Or he could just paint it for her. And he could sup it up the way he’d done his own. Though he wasn’t sure why he would give her a gift. Perhaps he was just feeling that urge that vampires sometimes got, the urge to spend their vast amounts of accumulated money. And he had more of it than most with his parents estate added in. Being the last living relative of the Hastings family, well technically living, gave him access to a lot. Hell he was technically still a Lord in England, though they didn’t really hold too closely to such things anymore, if he wished he could get in to see the queen herself.
But he didn’t like going back to England and being remembered of his human life. He enjoyed what his life had become after he’d been turned.
A small crossed his lips as a mischievous idea entered his head. Marius leaned forward again and placed his hands on the handlebars. “Trust me.” He whispered seconds before the bike went up into a perfectly balanced wheelie, he worked the balance of the bike in his favor and kept the wheelie up for almost a full minute before he set the front tire back on the ground. After that, he proceeded to show her how to do so. ----------------------------- Count: 546 Dedicate: Vet Dress: Oh ha ha, that's right, he changed clothes...oh well..you know. If Yvette Gabrielle Audley was nothing else she was a daredevil. Like her sister she wasn't particularly afraid of most things, and getting the skin scraped off her seemed a tiny feat when compared to the thrill of rolling over and over on the asphalt and having the figurative wind knocked out of her. Smiling daintily at the thought in a sense that can only be termed as somewhat strange, the fledgling shifting the bike into the next gear without a thought, glad that it was much easier than it looked. Not that she didn't think she could have learned, it was just such a hassle. Funny thought - a vampire that was conscientious of time. She was vaguely aware of him making sure he was safely fastened to the vehicle, a smirk taking hold of the outermost seams of her lips. Just try not to hurt my baby too much, he murmured. The immortal nearly did a double take back at him, her gaze somewhat reproachful. Like she'd demolish his property on purpose. Nah. Wasn't her style. Everything she broke was paid for and built by herself. Vet was aware that he was smiling as well, catching a glint of his teeth in the moonlight. As her waist was freed, she allowed her back to straighten in order to make herself comfortable as well, shifting her shoulders back and forth a couple times to loosen them up some. The commonplace gibberish growled after them wasn't missed by the woman, simply discarded - they were pedestrians, what did they know? He was quiet and that left her to her own devices which gave her an idea - tackling the bridges. There were around twenty bridges on a particular route through Paris, and they were hardly ever crowded this late in the evening. So with that in mind she veered the bike out an exit that lead to a more rural portion of the city, the glitter of the channel on either side of them enough to brighten the creature's ghostly complexion. Nearly jumping as she felt him lean forward and take control of the vehicle the vampire almost pouted though was intrigued enough by his words to hold off on her griping. And there it was! As they leant back her palms' grip on the handlebars tightened. Talk about exhilarating though, she repeated the action as he taught her once…twice and a third time. By the time she'd had her fun with it they were hitting the tenth bridge at which point she was weaving just to keep the tires hot and their grip on the gravel strong enough to withstand the ridiculous turns she was about to put it through. It had been nearly an hour since they left and the vampire was about ready for some lounging. Revving the engine she dove into the task of passing the last bridges before veering in the general direction of town. It took one drunk driver to change the course though. A sudden halt made the fledgling completely clamp down on the front break and up went the rear end of the bike but not enough to flip them over. Just enough for it to look a bit like a jackass was driving. Glowering into the rearview window of the driver of the small french car, she revved it once more before moving around it…more like diving around the vehicle and speeding back towards her residence. Once they arrived she very carefully dismounted and allowed him to do whatever it was he had to to turn it off and prop it up like it had been before. She climbed the steps slowly, fingers combing through her windblown hair. Ah. A night out. Lovely. -------------------------------------------------- count: 6123 outfit: Outfit comments: Fweee..

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] Marius simply laughed when she continued to execute wheelies. It had been easy to tell that she would enjoy such a thing, she seemed to like danger and thrills. He sat back and simply enjoyed the ride, trusting in her vampiric reflexes and adrenaline junkie's instincts to keep them going. The bridges they were driving over rushed by but his vampire eyes were able to make out the scenery regardless. The water sparkled in a very pretty way, with the streetlights radiating through the particles. There weren't very many people on the streets, the night was growing long, but there were enough drivers on the road to cause some slight problems for them.
Speaking of problems, Marius's instincts told him that the driver in front of them was going to be causing a problem, and sure enough Yvette was forced to slam on the brake. He started to reach for the handlebars but stopped himself. He would let her handle this, see how she did. Some things you just had to learn by doing and driving a motorcycle like a pro was one of them. She handled herself well, managing to stop without tipping them over, and then she maneuvered around the other car with ease.
"That was very well done." Not that he really felt she needed or even wanted his approval. She was an independent type of women, and she might even be offended by him expressing such things. But regardless, he would tell her that she'd done something well when she legitimately had. They headed back towards Yvette's grand house, going faster than before if possible. They screeched to a halt in the driveway and Yvette got off the bike carefully. He looked away again for respect and then scooted up into his normal position and turned off the bike, his foot moving to kick the stand back into it's set position.
Marius slung his leg over the handlebars and stood up, following in her footsteps. The stairs disappeared below his feet and he rushed ahead of her to open the door and hold it open for her. "So what now Vet?" He questioned, following her into the house. The night had been pretty fun so far, but surely there was room to get better.

Marius Hastings had one thing goin' for him - he was a brave soul, barely holding on while she acted like a mad woman. Wasn't that just quaint? She had her fun while he was watching the world go by. Yup, Marius just put your head between your legs and kiss your bum goodbye cause you let a woman drive your bike, not just any woman, mind you, an Audley. He must be a glutton for punishment and if he wasn't he would be by the end of the night. The bike groaned as she slammed on the brakes, clutching at them in a frustrated overly forceful manner. Well we couldn't always be completely mild mannered could we and Yvette occasionally developed something of an attitude. Oh wait, no she always had that. Smart alec to the core of her being. It only got later as they drove back but Yvette wasn't particularly careworn, not this evening anyway since the only negative thing about it was the fact that he'd subjected her to the idea of him eating a hot dog. Disgusting. He'd said something earlier to the effect of her driving but she hadn't truly been paying attention now had she? Nope, not at all mostly because it hardly made any difference - they weren't napping on the asphalt right now so there was no harm done, mission accomplished. Thankfully the house was near to them and as they finished their little joy ride and she elegantly removed herself from the seat, she found him at the front door holding it. Smirking at how well trained the immortal was, she dipped her head in silent thanks while stifling a remark to that affect. "I think I have some games we can play." Of course that sounded vaguely naughty but if he knew Yvette it was never really as bad as it sounded. The worst it'd get was Marco Polo in the pool. What she had in mind at present were two options. Waltzing in she slid out of her shoes at which point the butler came and got them promptly and whisked them off assumedly to her closet. Barefooted now she crossed the hall, flicking on a dim overhead light, before continuing down the corridor towards the living room at which point she stood before a large entertainment center, placing her hands on her hips while she thought over what exactly sounded best. "Mmm. Twister or a movie?" It seemed an easy question to answer but if he sucked at Twister she didn't want to play with him. Not that she was a pro or anything but if he was ridiculously clumsy there was really no point in even starting. Yvette was somewhat competitive, less so when you weren't Giselle Audley but there was always room to improve now wasn't there? And her sister was a special case of competition. Her lips curled peacefully as she thought of her sibling and that whole situation. Families. She nearly shivered at the idea, they were just no fun. There was no edge to them really, nothing one couldn't predict and once her existence became predictable she reasoned she may as well be a human because that's what it meant - snore. Shifting her weight impatiently, she plopped down on the carpet to wait for some sort of decision on his part, adequately modest since she sat on her ankles with her palms on her lap, going so far as popping her neck and arching her back just enough to hear a gratifying crackle. So it wasn't lady-like…it felt better when she did so. He didn't like it? He knew where the door was. That was probably about as apathetic as you could get. Just dismissing people on a whim. It was probably a testament to the woman's lifestyle - she never connected with anything or anyone, never had a reason to. Her existence was all about never-ending transition and what happened when she accumulated the chains everyone else seemed to have? She'd be her sister, that's what would happen. And you know what response that gets, right? Snore. -------------------------------------------------- count: 600+ outfit: Outfit comments: Fweee..

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] Hmmm, games? They'd been playing games of some kind all night, but Marius had the feeling that she was talking about board games rather than their social games. He reached up and patted his hair down before running his fingers through it and making it stand straight up. Board games seemed to be a good idea. He hadn't played any board games in a long time. Yvette's phrasing didn't make Marius's mind jump immediately to the naughty, which was surprising, cause he usually did see the naughty in things right away.
He watched as Yvette slipped of her shoes and the butler came and picked them up. Marius smiled, it must be nice to not have to do anything, maybe he should get his own mansion with a butler. He followed her down the hallway and waited for her to decide what they were going to do. However, then she shifted the decision on to his shoulders.
Hmmm, the choice between a movie and twister was a tough one. On the one hand, a movie would offer even more options as to which movie to watch. It would also lead to silence for a long time and then to possible conversation afterward. On the other hand, Twister promised to be much more fun right now, and would definitely lead to conversation about some awkward positions they could get into.
"I think Twister would be just a little bit more interesting, don't you?" Her fears that he might be unskilled at Twister were unfounded. Marius was in fact amazing at twister. Though he did cheat sometimes. It was hard not to cheat at Twister, he was flexible enough but sometimes it was just better to make the other person fall than it was to win on your own skill.
Okay, so maybe he could be a little bit of an ass sometimes. Cheating at board games might be a little low but it was a victimless crime in the end so he didn't feel too badly about it.

For the most part Yvette Audley was a child. She was immature and fun and generally didn't take too many things serious. Whatever reason this was for is unknown but seriously…she was a child at heart. And that went best with creatures she couldn't very easily figure out. It kept things intriguing and spontaneous - fun even. Sighing as she daintily made her way through the halls, the creature stood there, blinking at the large furniture that held all of her games. That, again, sounded quite naughty in her opinion. Smirking as her hips cocked lazily to the side, she yawned - a completely unnecessary act but from time to time she did do so.
I think Twister would be just a little bit more interesting, don't you? Ah, yes, she should have seen that one coming now shouldn't she have? After all he was still a man. Her smirk had widened considerably as she thought of it. Well that required changing now didn't it. Pausing, she pulled the box from the cabinet and set it on the floor. "Excuse me, I need to change." It was said quietly before she wandered out the door in a lazy, thoughtful fashion. The top of the steps meant she needed to figure out exactly what she was going to wear.
A pair of yoga pants and a fitted tshirt later, she was pulling her locks into a low, dignified ponytail and blowing a kiss to herself in the mirror. Making her way back down the stairs back into the living room she offered a brow lift and a small, nearly coy smile before plopping haphazardly on the floor and began to disassemble the contents of the box. Taking out the sheet, she spread it out on the floor, carefully smoothing it down and then eyeing the spinner…Sighing, she cleared her throat which summoned a somewhat skeptical looking butler.
With a sniff he assumed a chair and she tossed him the spinner. Crouching and balancing on her palms, she blinked over at him as if in question. "Ready?" WIthout really waiting for an answer, she nodded towards the butler who dutifully spun. Right hand red, he sniffed. The fledgling quickly placed her right hand on the appropriate dot and grinned with impish delight, how she enjoyed the frolicking of youth. Would she ever outgrow such things? Most definitely not. Stretching her back quietly, she blinked impishly towards Marius with a gleeful look on her face. Well wasn't this a beautiful little scene.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] Well now, yes he was a man, so his response was pretty predictable. He may be a gentleman but just like any other man, when he saw a woman that he liked, he wanted to do what he could to get her. Yvette was beautiful, and graceful, and elegant. She didn't dress like a whore or act like a whore. She was classy and playful. If he were ever to want anyone it would be someone like her. But Marius could read signals from people and Yvette had shown only signs of wanting to play, wanting to be friendly. Well he could deal with that, he was patient after all. He could bide his time. Someday maybe she'd want him.
He watched as she pulled the game out and then nodded in response to her saying she needed to go change. While she walked off he took the time to look around her house. It was a beautiful place, the floors especially intrigued him. They were gorgeous. He decided not to go anywhere other than the living room, out of laziness more than respect for her privacy. She had left him in here alone after all.
Marius contemplated putting out the game but sat down on the couch instead and stretched his legs out in front of him. His arms draped along the back and he leaned his head back and began to drum his fingertips on the couch. He heard her footsteps in the hall and straightened when she entered the room. Even in casual wear she managed to look elegant. Marius smiled and watched as she set up the game. He got on his knees on the other end of the board from her and waited for the first command.
The command was issued and Marius placed his right hand on red dutifully, making sure that he put it in the most awkward red spot he could, tangling them up from the very beginning. Twister was just no fun without getting all tangled up with everyone else involved in the game. Marius looked expectantly at the butler who huffed and spun the twister wheel again.
Left foot yellow. Marius placed his left lower appendage on the yellow dot closest to where Vet was currently hovering.
"I quite like your twister playing outfit. Do you usually change your clothing this many times in one evening?" He hadn't thought of her as one of those bimbos that constantly changed their clothes, and he still doubted that that was who she was. The first change had in fact been his own fault after all, and he didn't really blame her for not wanting to play a game like Twister while wearing a skirt.
