((James isnt in this thread...))
Lissa took a step back when he pulled out the sword. Where had that come from? But she didnt question and she just watched him move. He was really good and she was glad to just watch him. She then blinked as he said he wanted to teach her how to fight? Her? The little foster child? Learn to fight? Was he crazy!? "But...I dont know the first thing about fighting." She whispered and shuffled her feet.

“You will have to learn on how to fight girl. Better start now.” Alucard said. He pulled out a smaller blade. The blade was the right size and perfect balance for the girl. He gave it to Lissa and stood by his side holding his sword up with a good grip. “OK first you need to have a good grip on the handle. Always make sure that the sword is away from you face and body.” Alucard instructed her. He loved to teach youngsters how to fight. He looked at her side to make sure he was following along.

Lissa swallowed. She was nervous about learning on how to fight. She wasnt a violent girl but she would listen to him. If he said she needed to learn how to fight then she would learn how to fight. And when he handed her the blade that confidence slightly disappeared. She swallowed and looked at him, trying to learn to the best of her ability. She didnt want to let him down. So she nodded at his words and held the blade away from her body. She kept her grip pretty tight on the hilt of the sword.

“OK now that you got that basic down lets start some easy protection skills. I’m going to attack you, but they will be slow and not as strong. Try to move your sword in front off the swings, but still keep it away from you face. And try your best not to flinch at all.” Alucard instructed Lissa. He jumped in front of Lissa and gave her a be-ready smile. He swung his sword to the left aimed at her heart. He did it slow and not as strong. It would be pretty easy to block. But if she didn’t it would only leave a small harmless cut.

Lissa was swallowing over and over again. Oh great, oh great. She kept muttering to herself. She didnt want to fight! She didnt wanna! But she could see she needed this. She was harmless at the moment. Anyone could take her out at this point. She needed some skills. So she would listen to him. She felt her confidence falter though when he said he was going to attack her. Sure it would be slow..but....it was a sword! And it was coming for her heart! But when he did the move she brought the sword up and blocked it.

He smiled at Lissa when she blocked the hit. "That was a little too easy, don’t you think?” He said. “Now I’m going to do a couple more only a little faster. Don’t worry it won’t hurt if your hit, I promise.” Alucard said to Lissa.
He swung his sword at her left shoulder. He stopped and redirected it to her chest. “Just trust your reflexes and you should be fine Lissa.” He said. He remembered when his father told him the same thing. He smiled at the thought of his father.
