William’s body swayed almost elegantly as he slithered through the shadows, his hazel glistening eyes shifting over the nearest objects, almost scanning the dark narrow alley for life – these alleys were usually easy pickings for the lazy, they had tramps, weary travellers without anywhere to stay and bimbos, eh! The blondes who’d take the shortcuts to get home quickly, they just never really regarded the fact alleys were dangerous this time of night, well; strictly full-stop alleys were drug dens and critter crawling.
He sighed heavily as he came to a stop, almost thinking over a few words Mindy had said to him, he wanted to become good – the guilt of all his victims were getting too much, heck, he didn’t even ask for this dark gift, to be damned, but then again, Hunger was another thing… He was starving… Mindy wanted him to give up something that would prove difficult to master, but maybe the practicing started now?
His body slanted as he leaned against the wall, slithering a hand into his pocket to grasp a box of cigarettes, hoisting them out to pop the lid back and drag one out. Plucking it upon his firm ripe lips, he patted his pockets for a lighter, eventually pulling it out of his back pocket he flinted a light and took that well earned drag on the cancer stick. “Mmh” he murmured to himself in satisfaction, taking a little glance around the dim and dormant alley.
Feeling his shirt ruffle in the wind, it began to bring back old memories, sailing, being out at sea – they say man looks for somewhere peaceful on Earth, well, William having all the time in the world on his hands found his peaceful place. The sea at nights would shimmer like silver in the moonlight and the strange howl in the wind would carry whispers, almost like the dead at sea were calling from beyond. As he stood there day-dreaming, he began cut-off from the reality he was standing in, completely in a world of his own…

Kai was hunting. She passed the alley, but stopped suddenly, another vampire was in there, but not appearing to be going anywhere. She whipped out the dagger from the sheath in her sleeve, taking precautions. How pathetic would it be if Kai got slaughtered, her being a coven master and all? She was supposed to be the stronger one. Smoke, cigarette smoke, the vampire was obviously just fine. But she might as well give a warning, even if he-she would be annoyed with her or not.
"You might not want to get caught dreaming." Kai said quietly. "There are many more that would jump at the chance to cause harm." Kai was one of those, but just not with a fellow vampire.

William’s fingers entwined around his cigarette to grasp gently, taking a long inhale of the burning tobacco, staring at the ground in a slight daze as he thought to himself deeply. The Alley was pretty cool, chilly and damp, even obtaining a hefty gust now and again from the strong winds that circled above.
Suddenly his body jumped a little as he heard someone talking towards him, his hazel eyes glistening in the moonlight’s streaming rays as he stared onwards towards her with a narrow look, wandering who this stranger was. “Heh, thanks for the advice” he said quietly, looking at her curiously as he straightened his body to push from off the wall. Her dagger caught his attention immediately as he smirked a little, raising an eyebrow towards her to tilt his head vaguely “I’m guessing you’re one of those people who’d cause harm?”
He questioned her with a grin on his face, wandering what her game was – she was either insecure to carry a weapon, or did in-fact think she could mug him? The cigarette smoke dampened his sense of smell; he couldn’t tell what she was… Human or vampire, but she was brave to talk towards a lonesome stranger down a darkened alley.

Kai raised an eyebrow, she slid her dagger back into its sheath. "I could be." She shrugged. "But I try not to be. . . sometimes." Kai watched the other vampire. "This is one of those sometimes."
((sorry so short))

OOC: That's okay, try not to do it too often. =P
His eyes slithered to look upon her slender figure, sizing her up for a moment, pondering on the fact that she’d attack him – he’d be able to handle this woman right? But then she sheathed her dagger, which caused his body to shudder into a softened state, knowing she wasn’t here to fight, which he was thankful off.
Pulling the cigarette from off his lips and dwindling it by his side to look at her, he smirked a little to nod “Well I’m glad you aren’t in that mood tonight…” he said softly, before stepping towards her slowly to shrug slightly, trying to get a little closer, sense what she was – so far, he couldn’t feel any warmth radiating off her, nor smell the fresh essence of blood like a human had. She had to be a vampire, her complex of pale features also suggested she was probably a vampire…
“So what’s a lady like you, doing out here?” he asked curiously, staring upon her with his glistening eyes, biting his lower lip gently as he stood there. His free hand running down the front of his shirt slowly, whilst the other flicked the ash from off his cigarette to place amongst his firm lips once again, awaiting an answer of sorts.

Kai smirked. "I was going to find something to eat." Kai enjoyed hunting alone even more than she loved hunting with her coven. She loved the feel of the dark closing around her, centering her mind on the heated body. Feeling the moonlight bathe the street in its power. The silence, that wonderful silence. Hunting alone gave Kai a sense of control that she had forced herself to maintain all other times.
Kai shrugged. "But this is just as well." Kai smiled and stuck out a hand. "I'm Kai." Who said she didn't have to be polite?

Deakon sat perched upon a building, waiting for maybe just maybe a stupid human would come bumbling through the alley below. He'd been there for some time, watching, quizzically, a vampire leaning against a wall. Then he smelled a familiar scent. It was his coven master, Kai, she seemed to be speaking with the other vampire. He dropped his cig down off the ledge just before he popped off of it. he glided down only staying stable because of his hand rested on the drain pipe which acted as a guide rail. He felt a little more comfortable around her now. Not that he would try anything with her against her will. He was sure she would kick his @$$ if he did. "Good evening, Kai." he said, "Nice night ain't it?"

William watched her quietly and smiled to himself as he heard she was ‘hunting’ – going to find something to eat. He couldn’t blame her; he was going to hunt himself, but all those words Mindy had said… Sure it was normal to feed on humans, let’s face it, Humans slaughtered animals for their own being, why couldn’t vampire’s prey on humans? But there was just something about it that made William feel guilty inside, perhaps it was best he held his thirst for now, perhaps he could find a meal later at some point?
“Yeah, meal…” he mumbled to himself quietly, slowly running a hand through his hair to look at her with a slight smile, feeling incredibly hungry now she’d mentioned food, but then she swiftly changed the subject and threw her hand out at him. Again, that smile struck his lips as he slowly coiled his hand out to grasp hers, entwining his fingers around her hand to give a firm shake “Kai, I’m William” he said introducing himself in gesture, nodding slightly.
Suddenly another figure crawled from out of the darkness as his head snapped to the side to stare at this new person, biting his lower lip slightly, looking upon the ‘younger’ male. It seemed as if he knew this female, perhaps he was a vampire too? He seemed to have that complexion of crimson pale features and was awfully quiet, too quiet to be a mortal. “Evening…” William said softly, smirking a little at him to nod.

"Nice to meet you, William." Kai smiled slightly as Deakon landed next to her. The younger vampire was a riot. "Hey Deakon." She said, patting him lightly, by her standards, on the back. Kai looked up at the sky. "It is a great night."
Kai looked back at William. "Eye for an eye." She whispered slightly. "So, what are you doing out here, besides attempting to enjoy the quiet?" It was Kai's job to know about vampires both in and out of her coven, incase they were some threat to her and 'her' vamps.

Deakon was a bit hungry but decided against leaving, just in case this one had a hidden agenda. "Yes, yes it is." The reply came softer than usual. He looked to the ground, searching for his lost cig. He found it in a puddle, sopping wet. He was angry now. It was his last cig and he'd just lit it. He kicked the drain pipe making a kink in it. He took a swig out of his flask. The whiskey it contained was was a quick relief from his emotions. He calmed quiker than he thought he could it was a relief. He did not want to anger Kai for His actions.

William nodded towards Kai as she made the polite gesture in meeting him, smiling lightly at her as he folded his arms after shaking her hand, flicking his nearly burnt out cigarette off towards the nearby wall, sighing a little at how quick it happened to disappear, burn out. It wasn’t that long ago he’d happened to have sparked it up.
Glancing between Kai and Deakon, he sighed a little to see they had a little history together perhaps? The pat she gave him on the back and well, acknowledged him being there… Seemed like they knew one another enough? But William’s eyes narrowed as he listened to Kai’s words, eye for an eye? What did she mean? His features beckoned to show a slight confused look for a moment, before grinning at what it ‘could’ mean.
“Yeah, I was eh… Just taking a walk…” he said timidly and quietly, obviously hiding the fact he’d come out to see if he could catch a meal, but wasn’t too sure about that now. After he’d thought about Mindy’s words and thought over things in general, it didn’t seem like a great idea anymore. He soon slipped out of the thoughtful mood again as Deakon threw bit of a strop and kicked the drain-pipe that seemed to shudder at the force of his strength… Yeah, he was definitely a vampire…
“Um, you okay?” William questioned with a stern look, seeing this young boy was upset or angry over something, or was he just bored? Most people these days done something destructive; purely out of boredom and being a vampire, you seemed to have the extra power to do it.

Kai raised an eyebrow, William's tone suggested that he wasn't exactly here for a walk, but she let it slide. Kai looked over at Deakon, having a fit just because his cig was no longer useful. She rolled her eyes. "Calm down, Deakon." She said in that quiet yet commanding tone she had always had, even as a human. "It's not the end of the world."

"Yes, Kai." He said while he turned towards the other vampire. He sized up the other vampire. He checked for any flaws in his features, including the kiss. All he could discern was the kiss. He looked wiliam in the eye saying "Yea, kinda. My last cig just died."He pulled out the wet cig. It was bent and wet but otherwise it was perfectly fine. He took another swig. This time it was more refreshing.

His body shuddered softly as he glanced between the vampires; slowly starting to feel like the politeness was about to change? Intimidation began to set in as he smirked a little to shrug, trying to roll of the feeling of being intimidated by two youngsters, who seemed to be on the prowl for a meal – he wouldn’t stop them, it just didn’t happen to be his thing now… well, so he decided tonight, the guilt was starting to get a little too much for him, it was weird how he remembered the faces of his victims, all too well… He couldn’t handle another amongst the pile.
Feeling Deakon’s gaze sternly upon him, William merely stared back to grin a little, seeing the young lad was pretty feisty… He could almost sense his eyes slithering down his body as he sized him up, getting the impression he wasn’t really boding well with William at the moment. “Oh, your cigarette” he William said with a slight raised brow, never seeing someone get so frustrated over a fix of nicotine.
“Well, you’re in luck…” William said quietly, pushing a hand into his jean pocket and slid out a slightly dented box of cigarettes, popping the lid back to slide one out as he offered it to Deakon. It was best to get on the good side of this young looking vampire, William wasn’t asking for trouble tonight, he was too mixed up inside with thoughts to be fighting… Glancing to Kai he raised his eyebrow a little to gesture to her “Smoke?”

Kai held up a hand. "No thank you." She said quietly.
Kai glanced over at Deakon, who was sizing William up. She didn't say anything. Just as long as the young vampire didn't make any threatening motions, Kai had no reason to tell him to get his as* in line and show some respect for a being older than him. Kai leaned against the wall, crossing her arms over her chest. She just stared into the sky, lost in her thoughts.
