Peyton laughed softly as Brayden spoke, ”No, actually, I don’t come here often. I’m only here because my friend forced me out tonight; Although, I’m not regretting it now…” Peyton’s laughter grew louder, soft still but louder. It wasn’t the laughter of a woman but of a child still. Soft and sounding of wind chimes in an easy breeze. Peyton didn't like it all that much but everyone else seemed to like it.
Peyton glanced over to check on Cat. If her heart was able to race, it would have. ”fuck,” she said, looking back at Brayden. He was turned, looking over at Cat, too. ”Who’s that?” he asked as Peyton walked around him to go to her friend. Cat looked…really pissed off. ”That’s the fuckhead who ditched her tonight, before I got here and practically made her have a good time. Fuck!” she said again, more venom than before.
”…call for your little ho of a friend. Is she the one that put this idea into your head?” Peyton, with Brayden close behind, stepped up behind Cat. Peyton wasn’t one to start fights, or get into them or any form of violence, however, she was more than willing to finish a fight if one broke out. With her most dazzling, evil smile on her face she gave the asshole a once-over as Cat stomped on his foot. ”You know Cat, I was right about him. He is a pig. Let’s go before he really ruins our night…” She said, almost casually and took Cat’s unharmed arm in her hand to turn and leave. ”Brayden, can you walk behind us…I’m sure you know why…” He didn’t say anything but he did nod his head in understanding. He would walk behind them, as another barrier between the asshole bastard and Cat. He wasn’t going to ruin her night. Peyton could tell Cat was having too much fun with the blonde hottie to let him ruin it for her.

It feels like everyday stays the same It's dragging me down And I can't pull away "Don't you ever talk about my friends like that..." Cat said, anger seeping out of her in waves. She resisted the urge to take a swing at his face, she was usually a pacifist..but in his case, an exception might be made. She felt a presence coming behind her that was becoming quite familiar and she smiled. A moment came and went, as she heaved a silent sigh of relief. "You know Cat, I was right about him. He is a pig. Let's go before he really ruins our night..." She nodded, couldn't agree with her more. As she felt Peyton grab her other arm and they both turned to leave him in the dust, she couldn't help but glare at him once more. His new flavor of the week was on her way over to help him, while Nathan held onto his foot and slightly wincing. "Call me...never." she muttered, as she and Peyton began walking away. Her dance partner..Brayden came up behind them as a barrier between her and Nathan. "Thank you...so much." she leaned in a little and whispered to Peyton. She was just about ready to beat the crap out of him, if she didn't come along. Cat took a deep breath, hoping to quell the anger that was now raging a bit inside her. She managed a glance over at where the restrooms were, to see if Aaron came out yet. "I swear..if you didn't show up..I might've pounded him.." she commented, as she spotted Aaron's blonde head. She nodded her head, and he nodded back..starting to make his way over. She inhaled slow and deep, trying not to let what Nathan get to her and ruin what's left of her night out. She felt proud of herself for going out anyway tonight..otherwise she would've never met Peyton and caught Nathan in the act. If she stayed at home and didn't go out, then she would've never known that he was just a player. Good riddance.., she mused to herself. OOC: It's okay..everyone has an off day..

Peyton glanced back at the asshole and smirked. Cat did a number on his foot. He was holding it in his hand and attempting to keep his balance on one foot. It wasn’t going to end well for him, Peyton knew. ”Call me...never” Cat muttered, only Peyton could hear what she said. Brayden stayed behind them until they got to the table. ”Thank you...so much” Peyton watched Cat take a deep breathe, slowly calming herself down. Cat glanced towards the washrooms, but Peyton pretended not to notice. She knew Cat was looking for her new dance partner. "I swear...if you didn't show up...I might've pounded him.."
”Are you alright, Cat? Let me see your arm,” Peyton said. Without bothering to wait for an answer, she took Cat’s arm in her hand. She was going to have a faint bruise but other than that Peyton couldn’t see anything wrong with Cat. That was good, she didn’t really want to have to beat the living shit out of some fucked up asshole. ”You wouldn’t have because I wouldn’t have let you. You’re too pretty and too new to this game to hurt yourself over him. I, on the other hand, have experience with…little boys like him. And, can I just say, that I was so proud to see you standing up for yourself. Standing up to him was a huge thing and you did it with your head held high. I think you deserve another drink. Gin and tonic or chocolate martini?” Peyton asked, signaling for a waitress or waiter.
A waiter stopped at their table almost instantly. He seemed slightly enthralled with Peyton, who merely smiled at him and gave him their order. Including a drink for her new friend Brayden and Cat's new friend, blondie. When the waiter turned away, Peyton brought her attention back to Cat. "What is your darling dance partners name anyway? I didn't catch it." she smiled devilishly at Cat. Trying to change the subject so neither of their nights would be ruined by that prick. He wasn't allowed to have the satisfaction that brought.

It feels like everyday stays the same It's dragging me down And I can't pull away It felt good to sit down, in Cat's opinion. She pulled her neglected gin and tonic towards her and took a sip. "Are you alright, Cat? Let me see your arm," Before she could even respond, Peyton already took her arm and was looking at it. Cat then took a small sip of her drink, glancing around for Aaron. "You wouldn't have because I wouldn't have let you. You're too pretty and too new to this game to hurt yourself over him. I, on the other hand, have experience with... little boys like him. And, can I just say, that I was so proud to see you stand up for yourself. Standing up to him was a huge thing and you did it with your head held high. I think you deserve another drink. Gin and tonic or chocolate martini?" A smile played at her lips. "A chocolate martini." she replied, seeing Aaron reach their table and then sit down beside her. Her heart fluttered a little bit, as he slowly wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She glanced back at Peyton. "And what can I say? I'm tired of guys like him walking all over me.." she added, leaning in a little. Taking another sip, she leaned back after a few moments. Cat was quite comfortable at this point. "What is your darling dance partners name anyway? I didn't catch it." She smiled back, enjoying the feel of his arm around her. A moment or two passed, and as she was about to answer Peyton, Aaron spoke up instead. "Aaron." he said, as he held out his hand to Peyton. A small sip from her gin and tonic, then Cat leaned back slightly into his touch. She could get used to this kind of thing, going out and having a few drinks with friends..instead of sitting at home alone and watching tv on the weekends. OOC: Better late than never...

”Aaron,”[/i] he said, speaking up. Peyton smiled as he held out his hand to her. Peyton accepted, her smile glowing. ”Pleasure. I’m Peyton.” She turned when the waiter came back. He handed out all the drinks and Peyton put two fingers into her bra, to grab some money but the waiter just shook his head, ”On the house,” Peyton shot him her best smile, nodded, placing an hand on his upper arm, in a flirtatious gesture ”Thank you, you’re so sweet.” She turned, slightly, grinning at Cat with a raised brow, as the waiter left again. She held up her own chocolate martini. ”To you, Cat,” She said, by way of cheers. Peyton thought back to only a little while before, when Cat had walked up those stairs, and they’d met. She was so different from the young woman sitting across from her now. Now, she looked confident and sexy. And, she had a new man with her. She watched Cat lean into Aaron slightly every now and then, smiling devilishly. She downed her Martini and wished she’d ordered more than one drink for herself.
She turned, seeking out the shots waitress. They, well except Peyton, were going to get completely trashed tonight, and Peyton would help the process. She turned to the small group around her, color=086900]”I’ll be right back,”[/color] she said, slipping from her chair and turning towards the shooter bar. She didn’t have to go very far as the waitress was passing a few tables away. They spoke in hush tones and quickly went back to the table. ”Okay, shot all around. My treat as I didn’t get to treat last time.” This time Peyton actually got the money out of her bra and into the waitresses hands. She grabbed two shots for herself, as she’d given the waitress enough for two shots each; waited as everyone at the table grabbed theirs. Laughing, she downed the first shot, then the second. Peyton knew she was going to have to leave soon, but didn't want to just yet, as she was having a bit too much fun laughing around the table with shots and drinks and new friends.

It feels like everyday stays the same It's dragging me down And I can't pull away Cat watched the exchange of introductions, then her attention was turned towards the waiter carrying their drinks. She slowly pushed her finished gin and tonic towards him, which he picked up. She grabbed her chocolate martini and was about to take a sip, when Peyton held up her drink. "To you, Cat," The two men followed suit, raising their drinks as well. She could already feel her cheeks heating up a bit. "And to you, Peyton..my new friend..." she replied, taking a sip of her drink. Cat could feel somewhat of a tingling sensation throughout her body, meaning that she was buzzed. She never really felt like this before, she'd usually stop at one drink. "I'll be right back." She looked up to see Peyton looking towards the shooter bar. If she's going for what I think she's going for..., she thought to herself, half-worried. Then, it was confirmed when she spotted her talking to the waitress and was making their way over to the table. "Okay, shot all around. My treat as I didn't get to treat last time." Cat inhaled slow and deep, as two shots were put in front of her. She never did shots before, so she was a little bit scared. But she followed suit, when everyone at the table picked up their shots. She somewhat watched Peyton downed her first shot, and then her second. Cat managed to down her first shot, feeling it as it made its way down. Her eyes widened a little. She glanced over at Aaron, as he was downing his second. Everyone seemed to have already downed their second, while hers was in her hand still. She took a deep breath, then downed the second one. Her eyes widened again, almost coughing. Cat felt Aaron's hand lightly pat her on the back. "You okay?" he whispered in her ear. She looked over at him, managing a little half-smile. "Yeah, I'm okay." she answered.

”You okay?” Peyton heard Aaron say and she smirked. She should have known better than to have given Cat all those drinks and shots. She’d probably never really had a drink before that night; or, at least, not as many as she’s having now. ”Yeah, I’m okay,” Cat answered him. Peyton’s smirk turned to a grin. ”I do declare it is time for me to leave.” Peyton thought, taking Braydon’s hand. She nodded her head towards the main doors of the club. He nodded, almost eagerly. A slow, seductive smile spread across her face. She turned back to Cat, her smile turning from seduction to friendship. ”Hey, Cat. I think I’m going to get going…Busy…day tomorrow and all,” she laughed at the complete lie. She wouldn’t go outside even if Lucian, her most loyal companion, ran away from home. She spoke more with her eyes than anything letting Cat know she was going home; but not alone. ”Enjoy yourselves, I know I will,” she said with a smirk, finishing off her left over drinks.
Peyton slipped from the stool and took Brayden’s hand in hers again. ”Do you have everything?” she asked him as they walked away. He didn’t say anything, but he did shake his head. He was looking a bit too eager to get out of the club and away with Peyton. She laughed at him; the sound soft and very seductive, like her. She would have fun with him tonight, and since she’d already…eaten, in a manner of speaking, she was good to go as the quote went.
The weather was supposed to be chilly outside that night, but Peyton didn’t feel it as much. She still knew how to play the game, however a shivered ever so softly. Giving Brayden a test and an excuse to be a gentleman. He passed the test with flying colours as he took off his light sports jacket and draped it over Peyton’s shoulders. They walked that way down the streets towards the Upper East side, and her apartment. She knew if he tried anything she didn’t want to happen, she could hurt him, or at least get him out of her place, before he even lifted a finger to touch her.

It feels like everyday stays the same It's dragging me down And I can't pull away Cat took a slow sip of her drink, trying to pace herself a bit. This was definitely turning out to be a good night, one that she won't try to forget anytime soon. The song changed, from a fast one to a slow one. Then, glancing out of the corner of her eye, she saw the exchange...passing in between Peyton and Brayden. "Hey, Cat. I think I'm going to get going...Busy...day tomorrow and all," She nodded her head, a bit sad to see her new friend go. And guessing by the look in Peyton's eyes, she wasn't planning to go home alone. A smirk played at her lips, taking another little sip. "Enjoy yourselves, I know I will." She held up her drink, in cheers. Aaron followed Cat's lead, holding up his drink as well. "See ya around, Peyton." Cat said, as she finished off her drinks and slipped from the stool. She hoped that she would see her new friend again. Thanks..for everything.., she mentally added, as she slowly watched them disappear into the crowd. She then felt Aaron rub her back a little. She took another sip, turning to face him better. He smiled at her, with a certain look in his eyes. She then raised one of her eyebrows, wondering if Aaron was thinking that he is going to get lucky tonight. She let out a little chuckle escape past her lips, slightly shaking her head. Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble..but that is not in the cards tonight.., she thought to herself. She finished off her martini, claiming that to be her last drink for the night. Then, she felt her phone vibrate. She pulled it out, looking at who's calling...it was her sister Nicole. Giving Aaron an apologetic smile, she flipped the phone open and pressed 'talk'. "Hey sis, what's up?" she said, then started to listen. "Cat, where are ya? I just got home..and you're not here." A little smile tugged at her lips, tilting her head a bit to one side. "I'm out at a club, having a couple of drinks." she replied. There was a short pause on the other end, Cat almost laughed. "Really? Are you out with Nathan?" Her smile faded. Aaron was about to open his mouth, when she held up a finger to cut him off. "No...I'm not. It's a bit of a long story..I'll tell ya when I get home." she then answered, pulling out a couple of dollars for a tip. "Okay..talk to ya then." Nicole said, right before she hung up. Cat then shut her phone, putting it back into her purse and slid off the stool. "I'll walk you out, then." Aaron suggested, sliding off his stool. She smiled, as she then took his hand. They walked out of the club, hand in hand, he then signaled for a cab. One pulled up, and as she was about to climb in, Aaron pulled her close and brushed his lips against hers softly. She almost protested, when he pulled away. He took out his cell phone and handed it to her. She then quickly out her number in, and handed it back. Cat climbed in and told the cab driver where she was going, as Aaron closed the door for her. She waved him goodbye, as they started to pull away. He waved back, then blew her a kiss. She blew one back. OOC: Oh...it was great rping with you, we should do it again sometime...
