"Well, lets be off then hmm. I know a nice little place right up near the boardwalks."
Jordan didn't really answer the question, in fact all he did was give a light shrug. New York was a big city, there were many boardwalks and beaches, not only that most of the restaurants were in some pretty bad condition. He remembered going to one, infested with vampires and werewolves, which was odd seeing as they didn't usually get a long. Come to think of it, that was the same feeling he got when he stood around Callum, the feeling of self-doubt, of uncertainty. He shook off the feeling, he began to strap the surf board to the top of his car, securing it so he wouldn't have to spend another chunk of his pay check on another board. A sigh of relief came when the board was secure, as he opened the door he pressed the four buttons on the side of it, the car doors were unlocked. He slid in carefully, making sure not to knock any of his things over. Some days, his car was his office, others his car was his means of transportation, again it differed on the day.
He removed the pile of papers from the passengers seat and slipped them into his glove compartment, he'd have to organize those later and hell... it was going to be bad. He slipped the key into the ignition and heard the thunderous roar of his engine, that was the buff of being a mechanic, nice car. He grinned lightly as he waited for the two to get into the car, he set the radio on low and leaned back lightly, making sure his foot was away from the gas. "So, Ixandra, what brings you too New York?," Jordan thought he'd at least show some hospitality and ask the woman why exactly that they'd find her in New York of all places. It wasn't the greatest city, that was a for sure point that he'd made, so the question had remained.
Jordan watched the city ahead of him through his windshield, a light yawn had escaped his mouth. The rows of streetlights were dim and yellow in color, lighting the streets up with fantastic illumination. He couldn't count how many times he'd passed streets that had little to no lights, which was the most reason he installed the headlights, that and the fact he didn't want to get pulled over. Cops weren't really a problem for Jordan though, all he really had to do was get them close and bite them, it also solved his 'need for blood' problem. He'd been looking into a blood bank, more for the reason that he didn't really want to feed off humans. Another problem had been summed up also, he just couldn't eat solids for some reason. It had probably been the same problem the woman vampire had when she bit him, hell he hated her for that, but loved it at the same time. He laughed lightly, Jordan had again found himself in a love-hate situation.
