Snapping out from his daze he quickly let go of the edge of the seat and ran his hand through his hair trying to regain composure.
"Hey, Ivan...you okay?"
He moved his eyes back towards her, rubbing the back of his head a bit. "Yeah I'm fine... Just-" he didn't want to lie to her again. Pausing for a moment to fish for other excuses he sighed softly, "I get motion sickness sometimes..."
Damn it! he kicked himself for hesitating moments before. He should have just bit right into her neck when he had the chance but now the opportunity was gone.
As the cart came to a stop he slowly stood and held the door open for her keeping his eyes down towards the ground. He was obviously disappointed in himself.

Alexa's eyes widened slightly at how quickly he changed positions from frustrated to maybe...embarassment? It seemed that way to her at least.
"Yeah I'm fine... Just-I get motion sickness sometimes..."
So it was the movement....or what is it? Lexi's face contorted in suspicion, but she just sighed and nodded. Moving from the window to the door when the ride stopped, she twisted around and glanced at him. A cautious grin crept up on her lips before she spoke.
"Sorry you got sick." The dark-haired teen's smile dropped in disappointment. "Um...I guess you'll probably wanna go home now, huh?"

He stepped out of the cart after the girl and walked down the steel stairs which was the exit for the ride. He shoved his hands into his pocket and turned a bit to look at her. He shook his head as she apologized.
"It's not your fault. Don't worry about it." He assured her.
"Um... I guess you'll probably wanna go home now, huh?"
"Of course not." He let out a laugh, his blue eyes becoming bright again. "I usually stay out until the sun comes up. If you want I can take you home or we can play a game, whatever you want to do."
He bit the inside of his cheek again. What was he doing? This was no time to be fooling around. He wanted, no, needed to feed. He shook the thought from his head and decided to ignore his hunger as long as he could, though he knew it would be a mistake later.

"It's not your fault. Don't worry about it."
Until he had said this, her sorrowful brown eyes had been staring down at the concrete beneath her sneakers, the soles of her shoes shuffling among the loose rocks on the ground. But when his voice spoke, Alexa's head shot back up, almost wincing from whiplash, but a smile crack her sad expression instead.
"I usually stay out until the sun comes up. If you want I can take you home or we can play a game, whatever you want to do."
Lexi's smile only brightened even more. He was obviously feeling better by the glow of his sapphire irises. Her own eyes could be glowing without her even knowing with happiness. The teen was obviously enjoying his company and Ivan seemed to be a pretty cool dude to her.
Alexa's expression smoothed out into that of a smirk and she shrugged her tiny shoulders, hands on hips. "Sure, that sounds fun. It doesn't really matter to me," she said, keeping her tone light and cool.

Ivan pulled his attention away from her and looked around, noticing the crowd had died down. He realized it was much later than he thought and the park would probably be closing soon. He returned his gaze over to Alexa as she spoke.
"Sure, that sounds fun. It doesn't really matter to me."
"Well, young lady." he started sort of matter-of-factly, "it's getting pretty late and I think the park is closing soon. Plus I don't want you getting home too late and breaking your curfew." He grinned as he walked over to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"Well, young lady, it's getting pretty late and I think the park is closing soon. Plus I don't want you getting home too late and breaking your curfew."
"Pft," Alexa scoffed under her breath. "You're not that much older than me, remember? And I live by myself. I don't exactly have a curfew," she charmed.
Alexa wrapped her hand around Ivan's wrist lightly and kept it there as they kept on walking. "So, are you from around here?" she asked, changing the subject.

Ivan led them to the back where he had entered the amusement park from and headed towards his car keeping his arm around Alexa.
"Pft, you're not much older than me, remember? And I live by myself. I don't exactly have a curfew."
This too Ivan by surprise. "Really? At seventeen huh? Must be nice." Ivan pulled her a bit closer to him as he blinked slowly, feeling her hand wrap around his wrist. He loved the warmth that she was giving off and didn't want it to go away.
"So, are you from around here?"
"Born and raised here actually." his grin began fading. He thought about his childhood for a moment, remembering mainly the bad memories instead of the good.

It was the first time the whole night that Alexa noticed how cold Ivan's skin was. Unconciously, she shivered, but pushed it away and smiled up at him.
"Really? At seventeen huh? Must be nice."
Lexi nodded. "Yeah...me and my parents...didn't really agree," she said. Even though she did live along, it was only three blocks but she didn't say anything about it.
"Born and raised here actually."
It was too dark for Alexa to see his smile fade. She nodded and stared off into the parking lot as they continued walking. "I was born across the border..." her voice trailed off as she remembered when her 'parents' had told her of her history.

Hmm he thought slipping away from Alexa, breaking their stride for a moment. He removed his jacket and placed it over the girl's shoulders assuming she was cold because of the weather, not him. He reached into his jean pocket and pulled out his car keys, spotting his car from afar.
"Yeah...me and my parents... didn't really agree."
"Well if I had a kid, I wouldn't want them to leave my home either so I don't blame them for disagreeing with it."
"I was born across the border..."
Ivan looked over to her, brows arching as a surprised look crossed his face. "Oh?" Assuming she didn't want to talk about it by the way her voice trailed, he didn't bother asking questions. As they neared his car he pushed the unlock button and swung the driver door open, looking inside for a box of cigarettes.
He drove a 1969 black Mustang and often raced it in his spare time.

A soft smile crossed her features when she felt his jacket placed around her shoulders. Alexa turned to watch him mess around in his keys.
"Well if I had a kid, I wouldn't want them to leave my home either so I don't blame them for disagreeing with it."
Lexi shrugged impassively and replied, "I'm not a kid and they're not my real parents."
And when he "ohhed' at her, she just nodded and said, "Yup."
When they reached his car, she ran her hand lightly on the sleek surface and cooed at it. "Nice," she whistled.

"I'm not a kid and they're not my real parents."
He looked back at her as he dug around under the driver seat of his car. "Adopted huh? Interesting." He felt a small box and pulled it from under the seat but frowned discovering it was empty. Tossing it out of his car he stood upright and watch her admire it.
"Nice."
He smiled then shrugged slightly, patting his hand on the roof of the car. "It's alright." He said modestly. "Get's me from point A to point B and pretty fast too." He winked at her then motioned for her to get in before seating himself behind the steering wheel.
Suddenly bringing his hand up to his chest he clenched his fist onto his shirt as a sharp pain shot through him. Oh no. he thought as he clenched his teeth. He'd waited too long to feed.

"Adopted huh? Interesting."
"Mhm..." Alexa muttered as she watched him intently. Her eyes trailed down as the box he tossed made contact with the ground, but her gaze bounced back up to watch him.
"Get's me from point A to point B and pretty fast too."
She grinned when he winked, but the corners of her lips twisted into a smirk. "Fast, huh?" she asked, her voice spiking with interest. She slid into the passenger side and glanced around to survey the interior.
When Lexi glanced back over at Ivan, his hand was on his chest, face contorted in pain. "Hey! Are you okay?" she asked, her voice squeaky with worry.

He leaned forward resting his forehead on the steering wheel as his breathing became heavy. He'd never let his hunger get to this point before. Not since the day he was "turned".
"Hey! Are you okay?"
Her worried filled cries fell on deaf ears. He parted his mouth slightly, feeling his fangs throb, needing blood. He closed his eyes trying to fight the hunger but it was no use. With his free hand, he gripped the steering wheel as if to anchor himself to the seat so that he didn't lunge at Alexa.
Run! he wanted to shout to her but when he went to speak, nothing came from his now dried throat.

Alexa watched, eyes wide as Ivan lay his head down on the steering wheel. What could be wrong? Could he be getting sick again from the ride earlier?
"Ivan!" she cried, her voice breaking in hysterics. "Please answer me!"
Even though Lexi had just met the guy, she didn't know what to do. She was a pretty hard shell to new people, but she never wanted to see people suffer. "Please! Do I need to get a doctor? Take you to the hospital? What do I need to do?!" she cried, eyes burning with unshed tears of fear that he might die, even though his situation might not be that serious.

Ivan moved quickly and swiftly over the center console towards Alexa. Suddenly he had her arms pinned down. One at her side and the other against the passenger door window. He moved too quickly for her to react or for her to even see.
Moving himself forward he blew her hair away from the side of her neck then ran the tip of his tongue against it, shivering at the thought of her warm blood flowing into him.
"Just a little." he whispered, "Just a little bite."
((OOC: Be back in a bit. Gotta go to a b-day thing. ))
