"Okay. Oh and you don't have to join the killing. Just drag me out when they start to get the upper hand. Lets move." Silent began to run but stopped. "Hey do you hear that? Sounds like sirens. Why is it that they are coming this way?" Silent gasped when he sees the lights of police cars coming toward him and Nicka. "Quick on the roofs." Silent jumped on to the nearest fire escape. He waited for a few minutes. Then the cops arrived. Hey! Why does that smell seem so familiar? That is a vampire smell! But why is coming fro... hey I didn't I already kill that fool? Silent jumped down on one of the cops. Then he grabbed the cop's neck and twisted it until there was loud snap. "Hey don't I know?" The cop looked at Silent for a while. Then he showed his fangs. "Well that proves my vampire theory.""Yeah. Because you made me into one!" Silent jumped back at that statement. "Buddy. I make sure all of my victims don't ever come back. I don't want to many people coming after me and trying to kill me." "Shut up die!" The cop rushed over to Silent with both arms out. But Silent gracefully jumped over him with ease.

Kerin walked through the dark streets of California. There were no stars in the sky tonight as she lifted her blue and white plaid, high heeled stiletto shoes off of the ground with each step. She fixed her robin's egg blue skirt so that it was a little lower than it had been, reaching her leg mid-thigh. She sighed as she pulled up the strap of her white, frilled shirt.
As she walked further down the street she heard sirens. Her mind usually didn't care about the crimes of mortals, but her scent made her gaze wander over to two men fighting. No, not men, vampires. She shook her head as she wandered closer and soon enough she stood in front of them. She smelled others in the area, and recognized Nicka, but she wasn't sure of the other one just yet. They had been yelling just before she had arrived and were now fighting.
The cop looked at her but continued to fight. She shook her head as she waited for the other two too arrive so that she could find out what was going on. A boring walked turned out to be an exhilarating fight. The scene and the way the two male vampires moved reminded her some what of some Mortal Combat, or Street Fighter games that she had played once or twice. She laughed as she thought about how unrealistic it all looked to her, but this was to be her new life.

Silent noticed a female vampire walked toward him and the vampire cop. But he decided to ignore her as the vampire came charging at him once more. "So tell me how you survived if I did turned you?" "You killed my parents before you came to me. So maybe you were full while you was taking my blood. " As Silent was gonna respond, the cop went around him and tripped Silent. He then proceded to punching Silent as hard and long as he could. As soon as blood began to flow Slient grabbed the vampire ,that was attacking him, and threw him to the wall opposite of him. "If you had allowed me to talk, you would have been given a warning. I'm obessed with blood. And as soon as you drew my blood I felt...revived. Gotta say my blood that is drawn from battle tastes better then when it was drawned by accident." Silent then walked toward the dazed vampire. "Now lets decide how to terminate you." Silent clapped his hands. "I almost forgot. Nicka you've been quiet. What do you think we should do to him. I mean I didn't want him to become a vampire. And how long was it since you became one?" "Three years." The cop's voice sounded weak and frail. "That explains why you are so pitiful." Silent frowned as he realized something. "Why did you come here anyway? I just had my dinner a few minutes ago." "Why should I tell you?" "I might let you live after words." "I will never tell." "Someone must have told you. Nicka how about you do the interrigations?" Silent looked up at the other vampire girl. "Excuse me this is a private buisness. There isn't any humans here except for that dead cop." Silent pointed at the vampire cop's dead partner. "Unless you want to help."

The commotion had caught his attention. Sirens and several of them at that but there was something different on the air, something dangerous... something... pathetic. Ngai Bou Murong - a Las Vegas resident and relative collector of Chinese antiquities had decided to take a break from the Vegas scene. California had boasted on television ads across the States of a massive Antiques Auction that was suppose to occur in Los Angeles. The Auction was massive by the sheer number of items available for bid but it was an equally massive let down for the quality. Whoever would bid four hundred dollars on a iron chair that was to simply sit in a lawn as an ornament was an idiot. Nothing had been there that would have gained an monetary value over the years. It had been an absolute waste of his time. It seemed California, much like what was causing the commotion this evening, was nothing but... pathetic.
Ngai would have been a fool had he not at least followed his nose. The scent of blood, the aura of death had been too much for him to pass up and with the sights that he had seen, observing from his own little part of the street with no real intent on hiding dismayed him. Vampires. His kin. All running around like baboons in the San Diego Zoo. No real self control could be seen. His eyes watched one Vampire, an obvious egomaniac, ramble on with some other Vampire about having turned them. Vampire drama was worse than Days of our Lives. Lord, did anyone know how to play it subtle? Did any of his Kin understand that what they were doing was going to draw attention or were they so self diluted in their own "righteousness" that they feared nothing. What worried Ngai most was the police. Vampires openly engaging law enforcement.
Wonderful.
Ngai wore nothing spectacular. Unlike his counterparts here, Ngai wanted to fit in with the crowd. Over a thousand years in age, he looked his early twenties. Tan cargo pants, a light blue polo shirt and black vans shoes. Besides the look, Ngai understood the importance of blending in where it counted, which meant discretion. Leaping about, attacking police and shouting about being turned in alleyways or what not was not the best way to keep secrets. These... Vampires... were either fairly new to their 'reborn' lives or they were really old and stupid. If they were young, there was hope for them. All new Vampires made mistakes and it was up to the older ones to help them out but if they had been around for eighty years or more - they should know better. These stunts tonight were not going to go over well.
"Perhaps it's best if this evening ends for you. You've caught more attention than you should have and if you have a brain in the head of yours - then you will understand that the direness of this situation. Go back to your home, crypt, where you sleep and lay low. Injured cops and babbling on about people being turned is not the best way to be discrete now is it? " His statement was pointed, sharp and aimed at the man that had started this entire mess. "The problem with most Vampires is their ego's cloud their judgments. It only takes one to show the stupid they hold, to get the rest into trouble. And to attack local authorities? That means someone had a whole new level of stupid very few are honored to have."

Post by [Dani]el Conteo* on May 30, 2009 21:25:46 GMT -5
Daniel was really not the sort of person who ever left anything behind, or let anything go. Not that he held grudges, though why not there was no telling. Naturally there was an eternity for such things, to stew in his rage and plot out his vengeance. That train of thinking simply was not enticing to the immortal, however, and he existed only just so. He was the sort of soul who existed but was nothing short of a corpse within. The sort of vampire that was disgusted with what he was, yes there was a generalization for that. And rightly so. There were plenty of bloodsuckers who despised themselves, and plenty of humans willing to try to make a buck promising the cure. Then again, when they failed the certainly met a dreadful end. Nothing was more vicious than a bitter vampire. After all, who had he to run from? Naturally, Daniel’s response to such a question would be short and frank; Everyone. There was no soul in the universe worth trusting, not even blood relatives – for a race that treated blood like money there was nothing sacred about it to him. It was his kryptonite, enough said.
But back to the point, Dani liked roots, he liked familiarity. And that is why one would find him in the hills of California this evening. He was a quiet being, but enjoyed his travels very much. Conteo was an exemplary individual in the trade of travel without catching anyone’s eye. In fact, he often studied the clothing of the mortals he would come into contact with so he would be advised as how to blend in with the least amount of stress. Perhaps that was an unnecessary step, but the immortal was strange in his preference. He would prefer to be human, but given the chance between Hell and being a vampire he would choose the latter. Hell was a frightening concept and as far as he was concerned all vampires were damned to that fate. Articulations toyed with the copper money clip in his pocket, thumb rolling over the cool smooth surface – numb to its temperature. In fact he was uncertain whether it was cold or hot, but judging by the attire the humans wore it was a warm evening and so he too wore clothing fitting a heated twilight.
Jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes, the epitome of casual. He wore these things unabashedly which made him appear far more leisurely than he ever truly felt. Strolling along the boardwalks, his glance fluttered reticently to the windows of the overpriced boutiques absentmindedly. The screech of tires, a scream and several thuds coaxed his optics to commit an orbit. What new Hell is this? It was muttered within the subliminal field, but within seconds the thoughts of frustration diminished – that scent. His stare snapped towards the origin of the clatter. He knew that scent. His strides lengthened, and he hastened to the scene. How could such a pleasant person be caught in such shenanigans? Incisors toyed with his lower lip, and his bristled jaw tensed with the stress of his mullings. The harsh words spat by the one who had just arrived as well were taken without response – let the two fools duke it out. Daniel was fairly apathetic. Immediately approaching Kerin, a brow ascended and concern coated his stare. ”What are you doing here?” It was murmured shortly and upon a soft breath. Luxurious topaz locks toppled over his forehead lightly and he bent to pin with her with a stern gaze and nothing more. Turning to the quarrel, he eyed the two wearily and silently. Whatever it was, the female was off limits.
”Gentleman.” He stated softly, his frown gentle and yet warning. Perhaps he was far off the point and she was not the point of contention, but he wanted it placed in regard should they bring this to physical blows she would have her own protection. Sexist? Yup, that’s Daniel.

Noah walked down the dirty streets of Los Angeles. It was one of those damp nights, warm, sticky, a little eerie. Noah had flown into the city of angels to see a friend, to play some gigs. Maybe meet some women. . . He had just finished playing one of his larger crowds, only a few blocks from his hotel, and was walking home and enjoying the quiet night.
There wasn’t anyone on the streets at this hour except maybe a few homeless, camping out for the night. The light breeze ruffled Noah’s messy brown hair, it felt good against his cool skin.
And then he heard a siren. It was a little farther off from where he was, but still loud enough that he could decipher its location. Feeling a little curious, he took off in the opposite direction, hoping to maybe catch a little action on such a dull night. When he arrived he found two vampires—clearly identified by their strong scent—fighting viciously, though maybe a little sloppy. He heard their many cries about being turned and killing parents. Noah scoffed, his ego getting the better of him. Fighting with emotions instead of the head. Always causes even the most experienced vampire to be messy.
Noah looked around. Four other vampires were there, two women and two men. The man with the darker hair spoke first, “Perhaps it's best if this evening ends for you. You've caught more attention than you should have and if you have a brain in the head of yours - then you will understand that the direness of this situation. Go back to your home, crypt, where you sleep and lay low. Injured cops and babbling on about people being turned is not the best way to be discrete now is it? "
Noah reached in his pocket for a cigarette. Damn. He had been trying to quit.
"The problem with most Vampires is their ego's cloud their judgments. It only takes one to show the stupid they hold, to get the rest into trouble. And to attack local authorities? That means someone had a whole new level of stupid very few are honored to have."
Noah took a long drag, then lazily flicked the ash from the tip.
“I wouldn’t worry too much about being discreet. . . Humans are ignorant. Especially in this city. Hearing yells and cries from the streets is normal. And any talk of vampires instantly brings images of gothic attire and bats. They don’t see what is real. . . we are not in danger. However. I do agree that a big ego will do nobody any good. You’re fight is interesting, I’ll give you that. But based on stupidity.”

First one and then the other had come. Much like Yin and Yang, Day and Night, the two arrivals were complete opposites in how they presented themselves. Ngai's eyes watched the man whom spoke towards him. That drew little concern. The smoker resembled a disheveled liberal hippy thats often portrayed sitting around poetry bars and whining because big brother does not cut him a break. Smoking was an absolutely filthy habit and a sign that an individual was controlled by fixations where as it should have been the other way around. In his case... it was Oral. When he spoke, Ngai listened but was unimpressed. There was one part of his statement which drew his ire and solidified his opinion of... two of the people here.
Ngai observed him for a moment but turned his attention to the arrival before him. Like a Grizzly in mating season, he stood beside a woman who drew no attention from Ngai. The aura of attitude he gave off was simply a shell. He'd seen it before. The man was calm now, complacent but before long, should anyone appear to threaten him... or the woman he seemed to subtly claiming as his own, he would retaliate. He had no need for theatrics, no need for senseless violence and it was that, in his behavior which already drew Ngai's respect. Still, Murong could not ignore the newest arrival.
“Chaos results when the world changes faster than people.” He paused. "Do not believe that humans are ignorant and dismissive. That will be your downfall as it has happened to our fellow... kin. You may or may not be aware of this but in case you are not, the Federal Government has a branch that investigates N.H.I.'s. They track us down, watch us, and create pretty little color coded files on us. And you know how they find us? When we get stupid. When a human makes a murmur of a Vampire, it's investigated... but not publicly. Oh but sure... continue to fight police officers. Continue to run about the city. Have your fun."
He turned to make his leave before shooting Daniels and Kerin and a glance. Nothing in his face showed of a threat. More of... respect. Even here, with the events unfolding about them, they kept their cool. Observing and watching. Ngai, himself, would have done the same but Ngai's weakness is pathetic Vampires - no matter the age. His gaze left the duo and back to the hippy and the overzealous moron, "Unfortunately my stay has worn thin and I have to get to New York to find a... friend." His eyes locked on the man whom caused this mess. "I do hope you can show some self control and I hope you learn well. Your antics have drawn more attention than it should have. Four Vampires appeared out of no where - if we caught wind of this. Others will... and I'm not talking about our fellow kin." Ngai simply continued, making his leave, as he would have had he not become sidetracked with this... kin. The only two that drew his thoughts as he put distance between himself and the group were the young man and the young lady. He would definitely need to meet them one day.

Kerin looked to Daniel, ignoring the two fighting. She looked around her and shook her head. "What are these men thinking?" She sighed gently as she put her hand to her hip and looked up to Daniel, who was looking down at her with a stern look. "I was just walking along the street like a normal person then all of a sudden I saw these two." She pointed her finger to the cop and the other man. "And I am perfectly able to hold my own, so don't look at me like that." She smiled at him with a sarcastic smile then she looked over to the two other men, that were watching the fight as well. There vampiric scent filled her nose as she traveled with her eyes to meet there presence.
"There are too many of us in one place. Humans are ignorant, but they will notice this." She said again laying her hand out towards the two. She sighed as the ignorant beings kept on with their fight. "Teeth may be able to hide, but what is the point if we have idiots like this fighting in plain sight, and with cops none the less." She sighed and looked to the three men that surrounded her, but focused mainly on the man that had somewhat looked like a hippie. "We should not be so quick to judge humans." She said it softly enough for only them to hear, her voice pure.
She walked up too the men that were fighting and grabbed the neck cuff of the cop and threw him away, then she grabbed the other vampire. "Are you trying to get us all murdered?" Her voice was stern. Even though she was still a young vampire of only two years, she knew of what would happen had the humans realized what was going on. They would cause another mass murder of their kind. "If you must fight, go fight in some woods, or somewhere discrete, and don't you dare talk to me like that!" The male cop had begun to get up and was charging towards her. She grabbed his chest and held the both of them away from each other. Her usually beautiful eyes turned cold and her voice became more powerful, almost demonic as she yelled. "Take your idiotic fight somewhere else!" Then she threw them both away from her and walked back to Daniel. "Pathetic," was all she whispered as her head shook lightly. Her blond curls bounced with each shake and her arms were crossed over her chest.

Peyton pushed her bangs out of her eyes as she watched the fight unfold and one of her own kind leave. She stood across the street, watching, out of view. The sirens and the smell of blood brought her walking in this very direction, away from her hotel; away from the club she was on her way to. She shouldn’t have even been in California, but she needed to get out of New York for a while and California boasted a really good nightlife. She was itching to just take her camera, get in the car and drive until sunrise.
She saw Kerin standing in the group, watching the fight and a man, she'd never seen before, standing next to her and two other vampires close by, too. Peyton brushed her bangs out of her face, yet again, as she kept her attention across the street. "Stupid fight. It's going to lead to some serious trouble," she thought.
She didn't like fights or fighting. If she could avoid it, she did. Although, she did keep stiletto daggers on her but she rarely used them. They were in her boots. It’s so much easier to hide them there. Especially with the clothes she usually wore. Like today, she thought, brushing absently at her leather jacket sleeve. It was her favourite jacket, and probably too heavy for the California weather but she didn't care. Her hand moved from the jacket to the miniskirt she wore.
Heaving a sigh, Peyton stepped out of the shadows and across the street. “May as well see what the problem’s about. At least, before I turn and walk away.” She stepped onto the sidewalk and stood by where Kerin was and watched her new friend attempt to stop the stupidity

Noah knew what it took to have to live a life purely to be undetected. He knew what it was like to run from danger—to be tracked down solely to be killed. He didn’t need this vampire to explain to him the dangers of being noticed, he was fully aware. He was paranoid—but not that paranoid.
”Unfortunately, my stay has worn thin and I have to get to New York to find a. . . friend. I do hope you can show some self control and I hope you learn well. Your antics have drawn more attention than it should have. Four vampires appeared out of no where—if we caught wind of this, others will. And I’m not talking about our fellow kin.” [/b] Noah dropped his cigarette on the ground, extinguishing it with the tip of his tattered sneaker. His fingers itched to grabb another from his pocket, but he stopped himself. He still had a little self control, didn’t he? Noah didn’t say a word to the vampire that had addressed him, not really wanting to waste his energy on an argument. He had lived long enough to know petty arguments like that were pointless. But he did agree on one point—if this many vampires had already found this fight, werewolves were soon to come. And he didn’t want to stay around for that. The female with the blonde curls said something to the male that was by her, and then looked at Noah, simply saying “We should not be so quick to judge humans.” Her face was honest and calm. She then walked over to the two men, grabbing the cop by the neck and throwing him with a flick of her wrist. She grabbed the other, saying sternly, ”Are you trying to get us all murdered? If you must fight, go fight in some woods, or somewhere discreet. And don’t you dare talk to me like that!” She grabbed the cop who had been making an animalistic lunge at her, keeping the two men a distance from each other. And then she got angry. ”Take your idiotic fight somewhere else!”Noah gave a small chuckle to himself. He respected a vampire who was willing to stand up for him/herself. It especially wasn’t easy to take on two. She threw both away from her and walked back to the same male, arms crossed. Noah still remained silent, waiting to see what would happen next. If this dragged on too long, he would be forced to leave. He wasn’t interesting in meeting any dogs—and there was a great chance of that happening, he knew there was a pack somewhere in Hollywood. He watched as a familiar brunette woman approached the scene, only adding to the growing number of vampires in such a small area. Noah turned his head in her direction, raising his eyebrows. ”Hello, Peyton. Fancy meeting you here. . .”[/b][/blockquote]

Silent was surprised at how many vampires came just because of one small fight. The worst part is that they think it is all of his fault. "Hey that guy started. I didn't do anything except to stop his human partner from learning about us or at least get a step closer to that conclusion. He is the one who started the fight." Silent thought over what everyone had said so far. Then he realized what one of them had said about the fight attracting more than their own kin. "I guess you should all leave the werewolves come. As for me I'm staying. I was gonna go and find some myself. But since the my fight might have attracted some already, there is nothing else to do but wait." Wait a minute. Silent looked at the nearby dumpster and thought of a better way to dispose of the bodies. He walked over to the dumpster and fished out the snack he had earlier. "I guess I better find a better way to get rid of this mess. I don't want any humans to get suspicious since these two were spotted last here or at least told their boss that they were stopping here." Silent also picked up the human cop he killed. "What do you guys think? The ocean or the dump?"

Peyton smirked as Kerin walked back to the man she was standing next to before; arms crossed. She heard what they said about the Werewolves coming and knew she didn't wanted to be there when they descended…She figured she would stay only a few minutes before she left…
“ Hello, Peyton. Fancy meeting you here. . .” Someone said from beside her. She turned, recognizing the voice, a smile slowly spreading across her features. “Noah. This night is just full of surprises, isn’t it?”
Peyton looked on at the man who was apart of the fight. "Hey that guy started. I didn't do anything except to stop his human partner from learning about us or at least get a step closer to that conclusion. He is the one who started the fight." the man paused, "I guess you should all leave the werewolves come. As for me I'm staying. I was gonna go and find some myself. But since the fight might have attracted some already, there is nothing else to do but wait." He looked towards the dumpster in the alleyway. Then he walked over a took out a male body. From the smell around, Peyton could tell the poor dead kid was that man’s dinner. "I guess I better find a better way to get rid of this mess. I don't want any humans to get suspicious since these two were spotted last here or at least told their boss that they were stopping here." He stopped picked up the dead cop. "What do you guys think? The ocean or the dump?"
Peyton took a single step forward, “You may not have started that fight, but you were apart of it and now you’re bring all of us into it, too. The wolves are going to come down on this place with a ferocious hunger and we’re probably going to be here when hell breaks loose. I know everyone has already said the same thing, over and over again but, and I mean no disrespect, I think it needs to be said again. As to your question…well,” She looked away as she continued, “Anywhere away from me; people will still think they were dropped there. Oh, my…that smell is terrible…” Peyton turned her back on the man holding the bodies, she needed fresh air, even though she was already outside.
