Ella floated gracefully, her thin figure seeming nothing more than a whisp darting around the flowers, a thing frost filming the full blooms. It was a rather unusual night as usually, the air would be warm and thick with sickly sweet aromas. Instead, the air was biting and chilling, leaving all the humans to stay inside with their kin in front of the nice warm fires. If only they knew that the bite of the cold was not the only bite to fear.
As Ella bounced between the ice tipped flowers, her long dark blonde ringlets danced behind her, serpentining gracefully in the wind. Her small alabaster hand darted out to a rose, which even appeared perfect to her all-seeing eyes. The cold encased the flawless flower, and the picture of Ella holding the rose was ironic. A woman frozen in time in a garden that was seemingly frozen in time. It was heartbreaking and beautiful, but all too common.
Sudden, Ella's emerald green eyes flashed, almost striking into the night. The moon made her small figure even more aethereal and stunning... Too perfect to be mortal. She delicately placed the rose on a stone bench and looked into the darkness of the woods surrounding her. Wonderful... She hadn't expected company, but she knew that soon she would be joined by another. Her dusty rose lips drew tight.

Seth breathed in the ice cold air. It felt good. He was sick of the warm air of summer. Winter and night is where he belonged. He pushed open the gate of his house, showing the whole world covered in snow. A small smile creeped up on his face. He loved the snow. It felt good on his cold skin and he could blend in and let his true being come out.
He saw the garden out of the corner of his eye. A vampire was...dancing. He jumped on the gate to get a closer look. She was a beautiful young vampire. She looked like a perfect ballerina. He saw the moonlight hit her and it made her look even more perfect.
He jumped off the gate and headed towads the garden. He leaned against the fence, making him invisible but letting him see everything. She knew he was there but he still stood there. He wanted to watch her dance, uninteruppted.

Curious...
The figure was not coming any closer. Her brow furrowed slightly in contempation, and quickly she deduced that he was not mortal, as no one was out tonight. The wind was the only thing that was stirring the air tonight. Secondly, the person must be a vampire, as any werewolf surely would have attacked her by now. She smirked slightly and edged her way towards the figure, at an achingly slow pace. Just as she was about to reach the man, she turned on her toe quickly in a sort of acknowledgement, but refusing to ignite a conversation. Every bit of her seemed to taunt the night and the company she had just acquired. Her face twisted into a smile of delight. After having not fed for so long, she could not help but let the adrenaline of a new encounted cours through her veins. She gracefully sat on the bench and pulled the rose into her lap and toyed with the soft petals ever so lightly.

Seth watched her as she stopped walking and looked in his direction. He grinned slightly. She began to walk towards him, he reached his hand out but she danced away. He frowned and watched as she sat on the bench and held the rose. He decided to not hide in the shadows. He came out from behind the fence and walked towards her. He sat down next to her. "You know you are more beautiful, right?" He meant that she was more beautiful than the rose.

Her heart lept to her throat momentarily. She bit her lip and avoided eye contact for a moment. She shuddered as bitter memories flooded back to her. Her eyes had always been her curse back in a time of ignorance and uniform. After the moment passed, she allowed herself to turn to the figure, in order to take his appearance in truly. She was rather impatient when it came to social occassions, but she smiled slightly, her eyes still fluttering around. It was a habit she had begun many years ago, so that none could focus on her eyes too long. Perhaps it was true that she was beautiful now, but the scars of the past had left their mark. Absentmindedly, she thumbed the rose. She nodded to his compliment, unsure of what to say. "It's a rather lovely night, but what brings you to an abandoned garden at this time of night?" Subtlety was not her specialty.

Seth watched her bit her lip and tilted his head to the side. What was up with her? She than looked away. He watched her confused, eyebrows scrungized together. When she finally looked at him, she batted her eyelashes. He blinked, trying to focus on her eyes. "Yes, it is a lovely night." He kept trying to look into her eyes. "Well, I live across the way and I needed to get out and I saw you dancing. I haven't seen anyone in these parts for quite awhile." He gave her a confused look. "Why are you batting your eyelashes? I can't see your eyes."

"Perhaps it's in your best interest." Finally she turned towards him fully, her large eyes unblinking and peircing... They were breathtaking, but too unusual for most to fathom or appreciate. She smirked for a moment, and then sighed. "I haven't seen anyone around here either. It has been quite dull lately." She flashed a smile and then pondered for a moment. Perhaps he was one of those who fed on beasts. Her mouth drew into a slight frown, but she brushed the thought away. She was enjoying his company nonetheless.

Seth backed up a little bit and gasped. "My god..." He had to blink a few times. "They are gorgeous...yet scary at the same time." He shook his head slowly. "How does that work?" He reached to touch her eyes but stopped and coughed. "Tell me about it." He leaned back, his hands behind his head and crossed one leg. "I've been cooped up in my house. My car won't drive in the snow and well, you know we aren't allowed out during day." He smirked and looked at her. "Yet, I do like night the best. Pretty girls like you come out."

A bell like laugh rang out into the night. "It seems no matter where I go I still feel cooped up. You never stop trying to swoon the ladies, do you?" She simply poked fun at him, not truly meaning any harm. She was in unfamiliar territory, but enjoying the attention. Perhaps it was dangerous to let her guard down this much. She couldn't quite remember the last time she had laughed. She had lived a full century and death was long overdue, so why postpone it and live a dull life.
Once again, she flashed a smile and tossed her hair back. "I haven't actually found a place to stay yet, so you'd think I'd have encountered someone in the time I've spent wandering around outside." Once again her laugh broke the icy silence of the night.

Seth smiled at her laugh. "It's my job. If I'm gonna be like this forever, might as well use these good looks for something." He laughed at her poke. His shoulders moving slightly as he did. "But you, my lady, you are something extrodinary. Way beyond beautiful." He grinned, showing perfect white teeth and freshly sharpened fangs.
He looked at her. "No place to stay, eh?" He looked up at the moon and back to her. "You can stay with me if you want. I bought this house for the summer but it seems no flights are gonna let me go back to Ireland. So I have like 5 rooms and have nothing to do with them." He smiled at her. "I promise I won't bite you at night. You're already a vampire." He winked at her. "I'm Seth, by the way. Where were my manners?" He held his hand out to her.

"I'd completely forgotten to introduce myself!" She winced slightly at her large social error and took his hand. "My name is Arabella Cameron, but I've been called many nicknames. Anything you prefer to call me is fine. As long as it isn't derogatory." She scowled playfully. "I'm not sure I can accept your offer to stay with you. I don't want to be a burden..." She paused and turned away, drawing a long breath before turning back... "And if I like the biting?" She smirked.

Logan shook her hand softly. "Arabella?" He smiled. "That is very beautiful. It fits you perfectly." He smiled at her. "Do you mind if I call you Ara?" He laughed softly. "You wouldn't be a burden my love. I would absouetly love the company." He laughed again at her comment. "Well, than maybe I will bite you." He winked again and grinned his flashing white grin.

"Ara is perfect." She licked her lips, subconsciously thinking about her hunger. "I suppose I could always leave if I prove to be too much of a bore for you, but I hope I'll keep you entertained. I could always just dance around." She laughed, slightly flustered that he had observed her. She pushed a ribbon of hair behind her ear and leaned forward resting her elbows on her knees. "It was simply too beautiful of a stage to waste." She turned towards him again and smiled. "So do you have any talents I should be aware of?" She giggled lightly.

Seth smiled at her. "I won't kick you out. I promise." He crossed his heart and laughed softly. "I love your dancing. It's so beautiful. Everything seems so perfect when you dance." He looked out at the snow. "Yes it is lovely out tonight." Seth looked back at her. "I can sing. And that's pretty much it. Unless seducing humans counts." He laughed and smiled. He looked into her eyes and noticed something wrong. "When was the last time you ate, Ara?"

"Lovely!" Her hands clasped his excitedly. Her sudden movement probably startled him. "Someone to duet with! I'd love to hear you sing!" She slowly drew her hands back and blushed. "Music is what I love." She sighed contentedly and then frowned at his question. "It has been a while, but I'll survive. There just haven't been as many tourists around lately. I'd rather hear you sing."
