When Litte began singing, his heart melted. How could he have almost forgotten how lovely her sing-song voice was? He just hadn't heard it in a while. He wished he could listen to her under different circumstances. Not only was she a great singer, but her guitar playing was phenomenal. When she played it, it didn't sound like just a guitar, it sounded like an instrument only a Goddess could play.
The song reminded him about their relationship. Coincidental? When she was finished, James hugged her tightly and then pressed his lips against her's. Pulling away, he gazed into her eyes and said, "Thank you Litte. I needed that. I will make it... for you I promise I will," he hugged her again, not wanting to ever let go.

Litte felt like crying when she was done. Maybe that hadnt been the right song for her to sing. But whenever she did sing she felt in a totally different world and it was just her and the music. When she left that world behind the pain came back and she looked at James with tears ready to come out again. But she forced them back and kissed him back when he kissed her. He promised her he would come back and she hoped, no...willed it to be true. She didnt know what she would do without him.
Correction. She did know what she would do. She would die from the inside out until there was nothing left of the old Litte. She would want blood and revenge on the one that had taken his life. She would face the whole damn coven if she had to. She would get revenge and probably die in the outcome but if James died...she was taking down the bastard that had killed him with her. That was her silent promise. He would never know it.
But she hugged him tightly and didnt want to let go. "Im sorry if I depress you..." She said and tried to joke around. "I guess when your technically dead you have no heart right?" She chuckled and shook her head.

James didn't laugh with Litte. The attempt to do so was futile. Though they needed to start cracking jokes to frantically lighten their impending doom, he just couldn't do it. James placed his hand lightly on her chest where her dead heart lie. He held up a single finger for silence, and his ears perked up.
Closing his eyes now, he focused all his senses on his hearing. Where her heart should have been beating, there was silence, but not to James. He took his hand away, effortlessly lifted Litte, and set her in his lap. His arms encircled her, and they became iron bars.
"You have more heart than anyone else in Patrick's pack, Litte. I don't expect them to understand what you mean to me, they couldn't. All they see is vampire. You just see people. No werewolves or vampires in your little world, just love. This brings you higher than the rest of them, my little Queen," he rested his chin on her shoulder, breathing in her scent.
"Don't fear them because they fear you much more. If one vampire can seduce one werewolf from their tight knitted family, then that's the worst thing that can possibly happen. Their lives are focused on eliminating vampires, animal drinkers or not. I was just like them, I still am. I can never say I have more heart than them because that's just not true. However, you can say whatever you want," he spoke these words warmly.

Litte had been about to say something when he placed his hand over her heart, but then he held up a finger for silence and so she didnt utter a sound. When she wanted to, she could be as quiet and still as a statue. Almost like she was dead. But she had a curious glint in her eyes and she didnt say anything as he seemed to concentrate. She knew he would hear no heart beat. It had stopped beating and left her dead.
She blinked in surprise when he picked her up and placed her in his lap. She seemed so weightless to him. She knew that werewolf and vampire strength were very matched. She could move out of his grip if she wanted to. But she didnt. She actually snuggled closer to him. She liked the opposites about him. How he was so warm against her cold skin. That even if she was dead, he was so alive.
She smiled gently when he was done with his words and leaned up an kissed him deeply. She broke the kiss and leaned her forehead on his. "You have the kindest heart and soul I have ever seen. Even after everything that has happened to you...You can stil love and see the light in situations others would let darkness rule." She placed her hand gently on his cheek. "Thats one thing I love so much about you. Your so ALIVE. Something I can never be."

James smiled at her words and dug his nose into her soft hair. His little Litte was just so full of wisdom. lifting his chin to free his lips, he said softly, "You're not as dead as you think." He spoke the truth. She was just too full of life to be undead. He wouldn't believe it if he wasn't a werewolf. Putting his head against her's now, he let his body fall back onto the bed, taking Litte with him. He lay on his side and cuddled her close to his chest.
"Maybe the kindest heart to you. To the pack, it's filled to the brim with betrayal and guilt," he mumbled into her neck. His eyes closed and he was suddenly exhausted. Long day. It would just get longer. He had to leave for a pack meeting soon. This would be the first time he was facing Patrick and being up front about his betrayal and Litte. He cringed. That was not going to be fun. He didn't even think about what he was going to say to him.

Litte watched him with gentle eyes and a gentle smile. She knew he didnt believe she was dead. But technically in the sense she was. Her heart no longer beat and her skin was pale and cold. She was stuck at the age of sixteen forever. But she didnt care. His words made her feel special and she loved him with all of her heart. She knew she was more lively then other vampires. That had been brought up to her attention more then once.
He suddenly leaned back and rolled on to his side and she chuckled and snuggled closer to him. She lightly ran her fingers through his hair and savored his scent. She wanted suck in this memory and never let go. "Im sorry. I wish I was human....So I wouldnt be causing you these kinds of problems."
((Omg...sorry that sucked...lol))

(( It wasn't as sucky as mine, lol ))
James' eyes flew open at her words. He leaned back and looked at her, he picked his head up, "But I thought you asked to become a vampire?" he was confused now. Wasn't vampireism what she wanted? Didn't she ask for that? James grabbed the pillow above him and dragged it under his head for himself and Litte. If Litte wasn't a vampire, then things would be easier for the couple. However, should he be dating a human instead of her, he would have never gotten the experience of showing her how to hunt animals and just being with a vampire.
If he hadn't met Litte, then he would be out there murdering vampires mercilessly and not asking if they were animal drinkers or not. He wouldn't care. If there was any way to go back to human, would she actually do it? Would she risk her immortality just for him? It would make the role of concerned boyfriend a lot harder on him, too. As a vampire, Litte has her abilities to protect herself. As a human, she was so fragile. What if... what if James slipped his control one night? What if he found her on a full moon...

Litte chuckled slightly when she saw his confusion. She touched his cheek gently and rubbed her thumb on his skin with a soft tenderness. She shook her head and then leaned closer to him. She had wanted to be a vampire. To not feel anything and to be just cold and heartless. But that hadnt worked out now had it? She had more feelings and emotion now then she ever had. Another effect of love? That was her guess.
But she only sighed slightly after those thoughts. "I did ask to be a vampire. When your adopted by one its going to happen eventually. But I also wanted to be cold and heartless. Not feel. The death of my mother still stung and when I changed my sire taught me to be cruel. But I only hunted the ones I felt justified because part of me felt wrong. I cant be evil. You showed me that. I want to be human so I can say with you as well. I wont age this way. And Yes....Ill be more fragile...but....It would all over be better."

James thought her words over. It was easy to fall victim to vampireism when you feel like you're dying anyway. He shrugged mentally. He really couldn't know, he was a werewolf. James had experiences as a wolf that Litte would never get to have. She was immortal, something every human craved. James even wanted that sometimes, to live forever. Who wouldn't? But he decided that trading life for death in that matter was just not worth it. Blood tasted good in his mouth when he was a wolf. He flinched away from it as human. Litte needed blood to stay strong.
"If I didn't feel this guilt and betrayal, if I were heartless, the trick isn't living, it's living with yourself. You had your reasons. I had mine. Though I didn't choose this furry route, it does have it's advantages," James glanced at his watch. It was getting late. He had a pack meeting to get to.
"Litte, I have to face my brothers and sisters, now. I also have to look at my mother and father and spit out nothing but lies. You can't imagine the hate I feel for myself. But I will do it for you. Because I love you, Litte," his lips brushed her cheek in a faint kiss. He sat up and then stood. "Anything can happen. My fate is in the hands of the pack which I betrayed. I'll call you, tell you what happened," he promised.
