When the girl turned her neck towards her, it was then Louise was starting to get impatient. Forget wanting Bastien to be rid of her when she could just chase her away herself. And yet then the action would rob her brother of his meal. She didn’t want to kill him, but then again they could survive well enough on animals back at home. The idea to come to New Orleans was stupid, and she denied that she had not known this all along. Screw Bastien. Bastien could suck a stump. Because that’s all he really deserved right now, or so she told herself. Venting out all her rage towards the new comer on her brother was much easier, because it allowed her to take control of her doubts with rage rather than doubt and fear them. She hadn’t heard much of the conversation, having been wrapped up in her own thoughts. Perhaps she was becoming more like her brother than she thought. ‘NO, he’s a vampire!’ She screamed despairingly, leaping out from her place in her trees while Ally had been gazing intently and Bastien had been in the process of half-lighting a cigarette.
He reacted immediately. Dropping his new cigarette, he wrapped his arms around Ally’s waist with incredible speed while simultaneously sending a burning look into the eyes of his baby sister. As he forced Ally closer to him, the familiar urge to sink his teeth in the very essence of her arose, stronger than ever. He was hungry, and he would enjoy this though he practically wanted to murder Louise at the moment. ‘Merde.’ He swore softly, his right hand snapping up to support Ally’s neck as he leaned in, his breath tickling the small strands of her colorful hair. He was vaguely aware of the sensation of her up against his body as he had to stoop to kiss her neck as he stealthily searched for the vein. He hesitated, blinked twice as heard Louise stop her mad shouting, feet planted on the ground.
‘Don’t do it Bastien!’ She pleaded, her wet eyes twinkling in what little light the night provided. The stars spun confusedly above her, half-shielded by the trees as he leaned in for the kill, swallowed by shadows. To her surprise he hesitated, and raised his head.
‘Shutup! You know damn well I will! God, you’re so annoying!’ He turned his focus back to Ally, trying to enjoy himself as much as he could. It was curious that although Louise was being a brat, he still felt that his night was not ruined.

Ally froze at the sound of another voice, an unfamiliar one, at that. Her eyes widened as the young girl lept out from behind the tree; so much for expecting there to be a squirell. Ally stared blankly at the girl, most of her attention focusing on her words. Vampire? Wait, what? Either this girl's on something, or I'm going crazy. Ally would've gone with her second thought, about going crazy, if Bastien hadn't grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer to him. Ally was caught off guard, though once she realized what was happening, she put up somewhat of a struggle, and, to tell you the truth, a half-hearted one. Her curiousity was strong, thoughts racing over the topic of what he was doing. She was confused, though guessed that maybe the girl was telling the truth. No, that can't be real; Vampires aren't real. They can't be real, this isn't real.
The girl felt Bastien's hand creep to the side of her neck, supporting it. She felt his breath on her neck, it churned her stomach. The pleading words of the younger girl were taken in, they simply confused Ally even more. 'Don't do it'? Don't do what? What the hell is happening? A generally panicky expression had fallen over Ally's face, and it increased as the male told the girl to shut up. Her thoughts were still racing, still confused, the idea that the girl's first words were true kept returning to her mind. No, it can't be real; Vampires aren't real.

Bastien tried to push all other thoughts out of his brain. He felt his breathing become heavy, the want for relief and to drink Ally’s blood surpassing that of out-shouting Louise. It was like sinking to the bottom of a deep pool with only a breathful of air. How at first, talking to Ally and being appealed by her strange nature as she was to his, he was fine before the urgent need to drink her blood like a gulp of air became pressing. Squeezing his lungs and the deepness of his thoughts on the matter until there were only a few words burning in his mind: Drink. Closer and Closer he came, feeling his tongue swell up with desire. This time it was different, his animal instincts pausing in a strange way. He took a deep breath and opened his mouth wide, feeling self-conscious as he shut his eyes and plunged his fangs into her neck to draw blood from the wound that would follow. Wait, he was shutting his eyes? As if to endure the pain he expected her to have, Bastien shut his own eyes. A heartbeat. A trickle. A shiver went down his spine when the first drops of Ally’s blood ran down his throat, soothing the dry ache and replacing it with a sort of calming emotion. His shoulders relaxed and his grip slackened, as he felt his victim pursue the struggle. He let more blood fall into his mouth as another Heartbeat washed over Ally’s body and his own, as he took pleasure in knowing that soon she would be a part of him. Her blood would run through him and be his own, in a way. Bastien let himself be carried away by the reprieve, the soothing sensation clearing any insecurities and memories as his hand rose and passed through her hair where he was surprisingly met with no tangles. He played with idea that it was his hair, his own, and that Ally’s individualism and keen expression was his as well.
Unexpectedly, Bastien raised his head, strangely satisfied with Ally’s blood. The taste was bittersweet, as if it would hold some other taste should he lean down and drink again. He would think that and then be proven wrong, by the same steely sweet taste. It was warm and he giggled happily, not moving though he took a deep breath of night air. Bastien was so relaxed he had forgotten about Louise completely.

Ally drew in a sharp breath as she felt the sharp pain of something pierce the skin of her neck, an unavoidable cry was released at she felt his teeth. She felt her breath shortening, no matter how much air she tried to take in, she couldn't get enough. A strange calm sensation had fallen over her, despite the pain in her neck, one that made it so she stopped struggling. Her face's expression was no longer paniced, instead generally calm, quiet. Instead of fighitng, she simply stared at Bastein, watching as he consumed her blood.
The girl's thoughts began to slow after a moment, her body falling slightly limp. So this was how it felt to die. Despite how it may be told in movies or books, she didn't see her life flash before her eyes. No, instead all she saw, all she focused on was Bastien. So this was how it felt to die.

‘Tu en as assez! Laisse la fille et retournons-nous a Paris!’ Louise snapped hurriedly in french, her voice unfamiliar to even her. ‘Leave her.’
‘No.’ Bastien said, in the still air. ‘No.’ He repeated, surprising himself. It was as if the first time he said it wasn’t enough. Because now the idea of leaving Ally’s body there and going back seemed impossible. It was as if Bastien hadn’t caught her, and that it was the other way around. He looked down at her body in his arms and her blood, the blood he had just fed on, rushed to his head. He dropped her heavy, numbed body on the ground and exhaled.
‘You can never do anything right!’ She moaned. ‘I can never do anything right! Give it up! What’s the point?’ She felt her body sighing under the weight of her tense dryness. She needed something to drink and her head lolled lazily on her shoulders, the light she said her words by darkening and becoming depressing to her.
Bastien frowned angrily. With one deft movement he raised his arm to his face and slit his wrist quickly with one movement, one swipe in the air. He fell to his knees, slightly anesthetized by the effects of Ally’s blood as he pressed his mouth to her perfect, sweet-looking lips. He was going to let her take back some of her blood, not without considering the effects it would do. But she deserved it. Through his slightly glazed eyes, he watched her tonight, and he knew she deserved it. Whether he thought this in hatred or in kindness he did not know, maybe a little bit of both. He could hear Louise screech behind him. She was asking questions. He turned around, the memory of her ruining his night flooding back as he began to have feeling return to his limbs.
‘Look Louise! I know what I’m doing!’ He yelled a bit childishly, like a young boy trying to prove some insecurity. ‘Watch me! Be quiet and stop crying about your sad life for one damn minute and watch me!’
(( Must be contagious - mine isn't either >.< ' ))

Louise’s heart caught in her throat as a flood of realization dawned on her. Running forward, she urged her legs to stand and her arms to reach out and grab her brother’s wrist as he pushed it against Ally’s mouth, letting the blood fall down her throat and back into her body after running through Bastien’s. Anything she once felt towards the mortal girl was drowned out by white noise as her own thoughts screamed at her. Any other day it could have been her Bastien was holding a wrist out to. And it had been. Whatever Louise had thought of her before didn’t replace the fact that she would become a vampire now. She would have the same urging need that Louise despised, she would have to kill another girl like her, or another boy like Bastien. Yum.
She wrestled with Bastien. He wanted to give her more but the deed was done. She was trying to undo it and save her brother’s blood but what would be was done. She grabbed his arm and he pushed her, as they gasped and grunted, over Ally’s body. ‘She’s yours.’ He grunted, falling back onto his arms, the wound already seeming to fog over with another layer of skin. Louise wanted to cry. Louise couldn’t cry. She just looked down at Ally’s face sadly, wondering what she was like. What would she think of becoming a vampire? What look would she give Bastien, once she had learned he had sealed her face to remain trapped in that body forever? To be immortal and to see every single sunrise and sunset. To be half-immortal and to have to steal the lives of others to prolong their existence.
Bastien rolled over, cradling his arm, resting his cheek on the damp dirt as he tried to remember a calming sensation such as the pounding of Ally's blood, which didn't help much since it was that he was trying to quell. He was confused. What had he done? He had saved Ally’s life. Or non-life. Why had he done it? He didn’t know.

Ally felt the male's wrist being pushed against her lips, the warm bloods' metallic taste filling her mouth. She didn't know now, but that was what saved her. She was too numbed to know. But she would know, she would figure it out, in only a number of days, when she re-awoke as a Vampire. 'But monsters aren't real,' hadn't that been what she had thought? Well, what a pleasant time she'd have when she realised that she was, in fact, a monster. But, for now, no thoughts came to her mind. And none would for the next three days.
((Shall we end here? 'Cause there's not much more for me to write about, and I feel bad 'cause you're writing large posts, and I can't even get two paragraphs.
Edit: crap, I think I deleted my post before this one. This makes me feel really smart...))

(( Okay...now I have to find something for the guys to do ^^ ' If you wanna expand on the plot just drop a line. It would be interesting for them to run into eachother after a while. ))
Edit: lol XD no prob. I was dangerously close to writing one-liners myself. You'll get back into the flow, no worries.

((Yeah, it'd be pretty cool for them to run into eachother eventually. Maybe like a day or two after Ally wakes up.
Edit: hah, yeah, my muse should return shortly, this usually happens after I'm in a thread for a while.))
