Shaden mainly watched what was in front of him, but every so often he'd look over at her, or down at her arm linked through his. "Don't worry, you wouldn't owe me a thing." He said softly. There was no way he would make him owe her something. Shaden wasn't going to be like Massimo. He'd rather burn. He walked slowly, just enjoying the night. There was no need to rush for them. They'd live forever, or that was the idea anyway. But didn't much like thinking about that. So he focused on what Abby was saying. "Real age." He said. When she said her age and then added 'old' Shaden couldn't help but smirk. "Your still young to me." He faced ahead of them again. "I was turned at the age of 21 and I am now... 1123." He said and looked at her to watch her reaction.

Abby gasped. "1123? Wow..." She giggled a little. "And I thought I was old." She looked at him. "Have you been alone all these years?" She has been alone for 116 years, she couldn't believe being alone for 1123. She moved closer to him. He looked so sad...like he was hiding something.

Shaden laughed at her gasp. Honestly he was surprised she hadn't already guessed that he was older. But he shrugged that thought off. His mind slightly froze at her question. Alone. He felt more alone now then he had before he met Aubrey. "I was alone for most of my life, yes." He said in an slightly pained voice. "What about you? Have you been alone?" He asked, looking forward once more. He shook his head a little, clearing the emotions on his face so she couldn't see the pain there. It was always best not to show pain, even though it seemed to be a common thing in there kind. But really, who wasn't alone? And who hadn't felt pain? No one. The only difference between himself and the rest was that he'd felt more pain then others because he'd lived longer.

Abby froze at his question. She never really thought about it. She usually locked herself into a world where she had friends and a lover and people who loved her. She nodded slightly. "Yes...I guess you can say I'm alone." She bit her lip, contemplating. She never realized it before but yes, she was indeed alone. She sighed but quickly put a fake smile on. No time for tears.

Shaden nodded but said nothing more about, not wanting to upset her or anything. They just continued to walk along the path. He heard teens off in the distance playing music, getting into trouble. He smirked. Shaden hadn't been to a party in ages, and he was dieing to go to one, however he wanted a real party, not some drunk teens being stupid. He sighed, trying to clear his head with the cool air. It worked for the most part. He didn't fully realized how close she was to him until that moment. He looked away. Its not like she was doing anything. Flirting yes, but that wasn't really all that bad.
