The nervous laughter was expected. Kia Luxin couldn't stop the smirk from forming on her lips. Well, it was amusing she had to admit. For a Night Walker, this Michael guy wasn't really all that bad.
Hell, at least he wasn't a punk or a weakling.
At mentioning his stupidity, Kia only chuckled quietly and shrugged again. She would definitely not comment on that. To her, most males were pretty ridiculously high on the stupidity scale for her as it was. That is...unless they proved otherwise.
When asked if she was an Amazon, Kia's smile dropped suddenly and she tilted her head curiously to the side; speculating as to how he figured it out. But when he laughed, he must have been joking and Kia then tilted her head to the other side, feeling the need to respond. "As a matter of fact, I am actually." she stated, expecting the look of surprise on his face. "We're not a well spoken of group and we like to keep to ourselves."
Kia smirked when he apologized and she shook her head, holding her hand up. "Hey, apology is all that matters. At least you realize your mistake so that's alright." Her eyes caught sight of another firefly and she smiled peacefully at it. She truly loved nature. "So, where is it you hail from Michael?" she asked, her blue eyes looking up to gaze into his own.

Michael looked shocked. She really was an amazon? They are supposed to be strong independent women. She seemed to fit that build. Michael was enjoying himself. He had never spoken with a werewolf like this. They were being civil with each other. Even friendly.
He crossed his arms and spoke "So I'm guessing the Amazons have strong opinions of people like me" A male, he heard rumors of Amazons, but of course he had no facts. He was happy that she wasn't offended by his earlier actions. The wolf seemed to take his actions as friendly anyway.
When she asked him where he hailed from, he smiled lightly. "I was born and raised in New York. But I haven't been back there in over 150 years. I am always on the road now" London was his main hangout spot though. He took note of her eyes. They were beautiful, he was almost lost inside them. He shook his head and looked back at her "You got some moves" He said thinking back to how she threw him into the air a few minutes ago "I've never seen a girl so beautful, be so feirce" Her strength was incredible. It probably even surpassed his own.

Kia watched in a speculative manner at the reactions she got from this Night Walker. Nothing out of the ordinary. Who could blame him for being shocked? It wasn't anything new that Amazons were considered to be a race of people of myths and legends.
However, they were far from extinct.
As Michael folded his arms across his chest and looked Kokia over, her expression remained calm and aloof; as though she were almost indifferent about her current situation. In truth, she was quite bored. Nothing excited her more than a chase or hunting down the bad guys.
By Gaia, she chose a great line of work for herself: Kokia Luxin, the bounty hunter.
"Eh, we see all men to be weak unless they prove otherwise. Don't take it personally." Kia stated as she popped her knuckles and scuffed the edges of her boots along the roots of the tree she was currently leaning up against. "If you mean your kind as in those who prowl the night, we're a neutral people. Werewolves and Vampires roam freely through our lands...at least for those who can find our tribal camps and make it through the forest in one piece."
The she-wolf listened curiously as Michael recounted where his roots were. So, his "birth" into the world of night was over a century ago and in another five decades (give or take), he would be reaching his second century as a creature who feasts on those in the night. So he originated from this states...from this place called New York. Kia had heard of the area, but hadn't bothered making her way in that direction (at least not yet).
For a moment, Kokia Luxin could feel the eyes of Michael nearly burning through her own orbs. It was slightly discomforting, but she bit her tongue from it. Her mother had taught her to be diplomatic and to not go around starting scuffles with random people just to prove that she was a warrior. The thought of Caleb, a male werewolf, and her meeting with him in Cairo caused her to smirk a bit. To think that he was the very first male to ever show her just how barbarous her way of thinking could be sometimes.
Michael's words reached her once more and Kia quirked a brow as she lifted her head to look at him. She was going to ask what he meant from his remark, but then realized that she'd thrown a full grown man completely over her shoulders and into the air. Mentally the she-wolf shrugged and bit her lower lip.
The comment on her beauty was something that she had not expected though.
Was she, in fact, beautiful? Kia knew that her mother was poetry in motion: soft but fierce, strong but gentle; patient but tenacious. All the qualities that created the perfect warrior and leader in Kokia's eyes. In every way, Kokia resembled her mother. Her fair skin, dark hair, almond eyes and semi-full lips. But her eyes were nothing like her mother's. Where Faina Luxin's were a brilliant umber mixed with flecks of chocolate, Kia's were a swirling sea of cerulean reflections.
She could only guess that they came from her father, whoever he may be.
"Beautiful, hmm?" Kokia scoffed and turned her head, parts of her jet banes falling around her face as she leaned forward a bit. "I seriously doubt that I'm the first you have met who resembles me in some way. In the many decades you've wandered this world, how often have you gotten the chance to say that to all the pretty faces you've run across?"

Talking, talking, talking. Apart of Michael wanted to challenge her to a fight. Just a spar, a test of abilities. He always felt the most comfortable while fighting. Plus he wanted to see what this kid could do. He knew he could take her. Even if she was stronger, Michael had the experience.
He turned his head slightly to the side, and looked at her with an innocent stare "I have lived for 208 years. I have met so many beautiful women, its not even funny. Though most of them paid me complements, not the other way around" The humans couldn't resist a vampire. The women would just crowd you, begging to be your next meal. Wolves were different though, stronger minded he guessed.
Michael then turned his head straight, walking towards her in a serious manner. When he got within inches. He circled her slowly "Yes, you are strong. You are fast. You are a warrior. But so am I" With that said he pushed her away back and got into a fighting stance. He gave her a light smile, to let her know that he didn't want a lethal fight. Just a friendly match.

Kia gave an amused smirk, blue eyes glinting with something along the lines of mock-teasing. Well wasn't he just Mister Popular then? Maybe she just leave him to his own devices and go back to doing what she had been planning; a hunt for crime.
At the mention of getting compliments versus giving them, she let a light chuckle escape her lips while placing a finger on her chin. There wasn't much she could do about it. To tell someone they looked good when they obviously were was just a waste of valuable air and time one could be managing (at least that was Kokia's take on the matter).
When she saw Michael approaching her, Kia immediately pushed herself off the tree and took a few steps forward. If it was one thing she was always taught is to never allow herself to be backed up against anything when there was no route to escape. That usually ended in something fatal with either her killing the person in front of her (which she'd never killed anyone before) or leading to her own demise.
Michael circled her slowly, like a prowling mountain lion. It caused the tiny bits of hair on her neck to rise in anticipation. Perhaps her boredom would be satiated on this night. He surmised her with those eyes of his while speaking of her attributes. However, at the pause is when Kia instinctively braced herself for something to happen; the look in the Night Walker's eyes was unmistakable.
He wanted...to fight.
The hand came out of nowhere and shoved her aside as the vampire went into a fighting stance. She was about to let her claws and fangs elongate themselves, but Kia noticed the smirk on his face and suddenly realized that it wasn't an actual fight or dual he wanted...but just to spar. The she-wolf took two steps back and raised her left fist to her face while her right fist stayed close to her chest; back foot sliding out to give her an extra bit of balance.
A mischievous smirk touched the corners of her lips, cerulean orbs zooming in to gauge her opponent. "Just remember...you asked for this."
Before the words had even finished coming out of her mouth, Kokia was already speeding in zig-zag motion toward Michael, flanking him to her right in time to do a spinning round house kick to his back that would send him flying forward for sure. Just how far he would go, she wasn't sure. So for added measure, when the first kick landed, the Amazon immediately allowed her foot that was stationary on the ground to raise up in time to land another spinning back kick in between Michael's shoulder blades as her first leg landed on the ground.
As soon as both feet were on the ground, Kokia placed both of her fists back up in the previous position for added shielding in case the Vampire decided to try a counter maneuver on her. [/color][/blockquote]

The kick sent Michael forward, he kept a balance and made sure he didn't fall to the ground. The vampire didn't know how far he wanted to go. Images on what to do next flooded his mind. Punch her in the nose, kick her in the gut. So many ways to get her back. He didn't want to hurt her though. He turned around and slowly approached her. When he was in range, he landed two fast jabs on her face. He didn't put a lot of force behind them. The wolf could probably take it.
Michael didn't study martial arts, or any fighting style in general. He was a vampire and got by on his strength and agility. He could do all the fancy moves, roundhouse kicks, axe kicks you name it. He only broke out these moves in dire situations, or when he wanted to impress. He didn't want to give her a chance to hit him right back. He danced about with his feet, building momentum. Then with grace and precision, hit the wolf in the face with a butterfly kick. That would hurt anyone.
He hoped he wasn't getting her angry. If the girl went wolf on him, he was in trouble. He locked his eyes directly onto her "You are impressive love. But don't expect to match me" They were only taunts, didn't mean them in the slightest. He just wanted to light a fire in this girl. It had been too long since he had a tough challenge. Her beauty did distract Michael. Every time he looked into her eyes, it nearly had him in a trance. Sure he had met many beautiful women in the past. He had never fought one though.

Kia felt the jabs easily enough. They were weak. Litea could punch harder than that on her worst day. However, what she hadn't expected was the scissors kick to her face. This sent her flying into the air and Kia arched her back in mid-flight, forcing her lower half to flip over her head while landing on the balls of her feet.
A tiny trickle of blood dripped from her lip. Licking the crimson liquid from off her lips as Kia wiped the back of her wrist against her chin, a smirk formed on her face.
At his taunt, Kia's smirk did not even falter. He was trying to get a rise out of her, but she wouldn't allow that to happen. In fact, since Michael had spilled blood, the she-wolf felt her knuckles crack before she squatted forward. Pushing her elbows back, Kia zoomed allowed her eyes to zoom in several clicks like the vision of a camera lense, lunging forward and instantly flickering from view seemingly.
She appeared so quickly in front of the vampire, slamming her elbow into his stomach and then uppercutting him in the jaw with a hard right. Without waiting another second, she did another spinning kick into his stomach. When she saw him flying into the tree behind her. Once there, Kia shot forward and slammed both of her hands on either of the vampire's shoulders, the smirk still on her face as she quirked a brow mockingly at him.
"what was that comment about not being able to match you, hm?" she said, her fingers curling into fists on Michael's garments as she finished her sentence. "You still gonna think that...after I do this?"
At that, Kokia lifted Michael completely over her head and body slammed him onto the ground. For added measure, she placed her foot on his chest, propping her forearm on her knee as she looked down at him, grinning from ear to ear.
