Gage finished the reast of his Latte. “Be right back.” He told them as he walked over to the trash can to throw his cup away. Then he walked over to the counter and ordered a three more frozen lattes. One for him, and one for the other two. He brought them over to them and laid it on the table. Then he took his and started to drink. “I live in New York, but I travel a lot.” He told them.

"I've never left the city in my life," Emberr admitted sheepishly, people always looked at her funny when she said that. So much for trying to impress Ella, not being able to leave your hometown was just so cool. She took a sip of the latte in front of her and looked at Gage, her thanks in her eyes.
"So you're not from here Ella?" She added, continuing the conversation. "How do you like the city so far?" Most people loved New York, but when you talked to people who traveleed a lot, a good a mount of them actually prefered Chicago to it. She never understood why, but then again she had never travelled to Chicago. She sighed as her thoughts got off topic again. She would need to focus if she wanted to find anything out about this girl.

Ella couldn't help but utter a gasp of surprise as Gage set the drinks down. For one, Ella had never been offered anything, and two Ella hadn't touched human food in over... a century. She gritted her teeth and began to drink as she observed the others do the same. She cringed... and then she realized that it was pleasantly delightful. This time her second sip was gleeful.
"I'm not sentimental about places. From what I can tell it's rather busy here, and that means more food... and more fun." Her tongue darted out to lick her lips subconsciously. She hadn't fed in a while, but the hunger wasn't too bothersome yet. She was so old that she could control her cravings easily. She took another sip from her drink, of which she could not name, and glanced to the two of them again. If she weren't so socially awkward, she might have found another good conversation starter, but her mind ran blank. She barely gripped the realization that she was their dead end in the conversation, but she didn't feel too badly about it. She had made a noble effort. She was still contemplating ways to kill, but that had just become habit. She crossed her arms, and leaned back in her chair in resignation.

Gage saw the thank you in Emberr’s eyes and nodded as a you’er welcome. He took some more good sips from his drink then sat it back down on the table. He put his arms behind his head and looked at Ella, he could see that this was new to her. “How do you like it my dear?” He asked her. He liked to call everyone his dear. It didn’t really mean any thing, it was just him. He sat back and waited for an answer.

Emberr giggled watching Ella drink the latte. She must've been an older vampire, forgetting what it tasted like. She listened to her say that New York looked like fun, of course it was.
"New York has great parties," Emberr smiled and knew that they'd think the comment was weird coming from someone who was just cowering on the floor from being in a crowd. "What? I know who to be around for a good party, just because I can't be around a mass amount of humans doesn't mean I can't have fun." She laughed, her eyes shining from her wilder side.
She took another sip of the drink and looked at Ella from under her long eyelashes, making sure she looked friendly and fun. Now that her fear of humans was going away in the small, almost building she could be more like herself. Sure, even when she wasn't around humans she could be an emotional wreck, but she could control herself much better.

Ella smirked in delight, incapable of a true open smile. "It's actually rather... pleasant!" she said delightfully, trying to mask the sub-par compliment. Compliments were never her specialty.
Ella found herself batting her eyes, just like the attractive female across from her. For a second, all her body movement ceased, and it seemed as if all the air was sucked out of the room. Her thoughts began crashing down on her like the waves of the ocean on the grains of sand. The reason I'm so inept is because I've never actually taken a moment to talk with people. A small giggle escaped her throat, resembling the jingling of bells in the distance. It was so simple. How she had not realized it before was beyond her. She shook her head at herself lightly and then took another sip of her drink.
"I've never actually been to a party..." she said wistfully.

Gage watched them enjoy there frozen drinks. They seem to like them a lot. He smiled at them. It was a really warm friendly smile. He have been smiling a lot. Ever sense he had put a cap on his evil side.
He now loved to smile. He looked at Emberr. She seem to have a crush on Ella. He chuckled slightly at it. Then he looked at Ella. “Would you like to go to a party, and maybe get some real food?” He said. He was talking about drinking some blood from some humans.

"I think that we should go to party." Emberr grinned, but she couldn't help but shudder at his food comment. No doubt they both fed on humans. "Ummm...incase you didn't realize I have a bit of a problem with humans." She hoped they would get that she wouldn't feed from a human. Just the scarce animals she found.
"You guys can feed though, I'm not hungry," She added passively. She didn't want to seem to weak to eat them or anything. She mentally hit herself again. Why couldn't she be like any normal heartless vampire? Maybe she'd get it with age. The thought made her shudder again, she didn't want to forget her emotions. Emotions made her who she was.

Ella licked her lips compulsively. "I'd love that." Her emerald green eyes narrowed as she said the word "love" and she drew it out for an uncomfortable amount of time. She smiled, much like a killer would before he'd commit a murder. "It's been a while," she said quickly trying to justify the edge of insanity in her voice.
"I'll follow you," she muttered quickly, trying to turn the attention away from herself. She flashed a quick smile to both of them before scooping the empty cups up and dumping them into the trashcan gracefully.
I think that was polite... Maybe I should have asked them first...
Her brow furrowed in contemplation, but then turned back towards them, crossing her arms and resisting the temptation to tap her foot. She nodded towards the door.
