Shaden had gone to New York by himself to talk with Massimo. He knew about Aubrey and Sevanni. About his love for her. It didn't matter how he'd find out the point was he knew.
For the first time in his life; Shaden really wanted to die.
Maybe thats why he went to see Max by himself. In hopes Max would kill him. That would be great. He could picture now.
Locked in a room made of glass as the sun came up. Or maybe Massimo could burn him. That would be better.
Shaden thought about this as he walked down the street toward Massimo's business. He walked down the stairs and started his way down the underground tunnels until he stood in front of Massimo's office. Shaden knocked once and then opened the door. He went and took a seat at his desk "Hello Massimo, How have you been?" He asked. His blue eyes were somber and he couldn't even smile. He just waited for Massimo to make his move.

Massimo could hear someone coming and knew who it was right away. So when Shaden walked in to his office, he wasn't at all surprised, but what did shock was that Shaden was here alone. He leaned back in his chair, and watched him for few minutes. Then shook his head, "I've been doing just fine Shaden." He said after a few minutes, "But you, Shaden, look like hell." He smiled and motioned for one of his men to close the door.
Massimo leaned forward once more, "Whats wrong?" He asked politely. Max had always been more... kind to Shaden then most. Although the reason behind that was beyond even himself.

Shaden was so very close to the breaking point. Even he, could only take so much. He just wanted the pain to stop. He wanted to go back to how things use to be for him. Back when he was one of the most bloodthirsty vampires alive. But it was too late to just turn back. He loved Aubrey. But then, everyone seemed to love her. Maybe Massimo had been right about him. He really was a fool.
He laughed, but it held no humor. "I look like hell?" He shook his head and finally stopped laughing, "I think I'd rather be in hell then here right now." He said calmly. He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, when he opened his eyes they were no longer blue, but black. They held no emotions in them. They were empty. "It doesn't matter whats happened. I've come here because I'm tired of being 'owned' by you." He said drumming his fingers on the desk.

Massimo grinned. This was perfect. He knew thats why Shaden would come here, but of course Massimo had no plans on letting Shaden go. No. Maybe a nice little cell would do him good. Max could bring him blood once a week, so that he stayed weak and couldn't just simply break out of his cell. Yes. That would be great. He'd have nice new little pet to play with.
"Well, what do you plan on doing about this?" He asked as if the answer would change anything, which it wouldn't. But still, he needed to keep his act up. He shock a look at one of the guys in the room and he moved in front of the door. Massimo smiled at Shaden.

Shaden smirked and looked behind him at the man now standing in front of the door, then turned his dark gaze back to Max. He stood up.
"Now Max," He started as he walked behind him, "Do you really think that man could stop me from leaving if I really wanted to?" He asked mockingly. He sighed and continued to walk around the room. "Just tell me what you want from me Massimo and its yours." He said sill keeping his calm tone. He already had an idea of what Max would say, and Shaden was more then ready for it. He had come here wanting death, but now he knew that Massimo wouldn't be so kind and simply kill him. But Shaden was ready for a fight. After tonight, Shaden wouldn't be long to Massimo. Even if he had to kill Max.

Arielle bounded down the stairs. She was tired and irritated. She already owed him for helping her disburse and unwanted group of 'fans.' Now what would she owe him for just barging into his office unannounced?
Arielle really didn't even fully understand what she was doing. She had gotten a phone call out of the blue from an old friend and was told to come here and meet someone. She would have said no, but the conversation was rushed and her darling friend had sounded desperate. That was unusual for her. Irrational and rushed, yes. But she didn't do desperate. Not without something being wrong.
She made her way through the tunnels and let out an exasperated sigh as she reached his office door. She could have barged in. She should have, but if she was supposed to be waiting for someone else to get here she didn't think pissing him off would be a good start.
She took a deep breath as she knocked on his door. She waited, trying to scramble a good enough excuse for being there.

Massimo jumped up and grabbed Shaden by his throat, and pushed him against the wall. He smiled. "What I want is for you to die. But that would be too kind of me to kill you, so I think I'll simply lock you up again. Never should have let you out." He said shaking his head. Thats when there was a knock on the door, and he let go of Shaden.
Massimo was confused as to whom would be bothering him right now. He stood there staring at the door, thinking if he should even bother to answer the door. After a short minute he nodded to the guy by the door to open it, and he did so.
Massimo smiled when he saw who it was. What on earth was she even doing here? "Arielle." He said still smiling at her, "Why are you here?" He asked, once more taking a seat behind his desk.

Shaden simply smiled and stayed relaxed even as Massimo's hand gripped his throat. Shaden wasn't weak, and Max should know that by now.
He turned the door once it was opened and looked at the women carefully. He didn't know her. She could be on Massimo's side for all Shaden knew. But now this made things worse. It wouldn't be so easily dealt with now. He sighed and leaned his head against the wall. He just hoped this women wasn't working with Max, because he could handle Max. And even that guy by the door, but he couldn't all three of them. Not in the state he was in.
He looked away from the girl and looked at Massimo.

She glanced around the room casually. For Massimo to think so highly of himself there was usually a good sized 'brute squad' surrounding him. Maybe he wasn't as intimidating as he thought he was. She winked at the man who opened the door for her as she made her way into the office.
Arielle found nothing intimidating about him. He was interesting, yes. but not intimidating. She didn't see what all of the fuss was about. Her gaze fell on the man leaning against the wall. She didn't let it linger, but she knew automatically that he was who she needed. Call her crazy, but for some reason she didn't think that they were all in here planning an annual picnic.
She smiled softly and edged herself up to sit on his desk. "Did I come at a bad time?" She fiddled with her nails in a bored fashion. "I was just passing by. I thought I would come by and ask if you figured out what I owed you yet."

Massimo put some of the papers on his desk away as she came over to sit on it. He had a feeling she wasn't really here for that. Massimo wasn't a fool, unlike the rest of them. They thought he wasn't much of a threat but he couldn't care less what they thought. Sooner or later they would learn. "Well you didn't come at a great time." He said taking a glance at Shaden, "If you leave now, you wont have to owe me anything." The man left the room, closing the door behind him.
He smiled as he leaned back and crossed his arms over his chest and waited for her reaction. Still keeping an eye on Shaden.

So Arielle owed him something to. But then of course it was unlikely to live in New York and not owe him something. She must be a street runner. Thats when he finally realized who this girl was. He smiled. Shaden didn't think she would know he was even here. He watched the man as he left and wondered why he did so.
He looked at Arielle, with a knowing little smile. It was good to know she wasn't on Massimo's side. He looked back at Max, and then walked up behind him. "Well I don't agree. I think she came at a perfect time." He leaned back against the wall.

Arielle raised her brow at Massimo. Could it have really been so easy? What in the hell could the blond guy have done to make Massimo willing to waiver her owing him something.
She chirped a sarcastic laugh. She should have walked out the door and went on with her merry little life. She didn't like being in someone's pocket. Especially someone who could just show up at anytime and demand things. She let her eyes follow his to Shaden.
She mentally shook her head. She really had no clue how she was supposed to give him any message, and she really didn't think that even if she did, he would be leaving any time soon. Silly bunny, what have you done to him?
Arielle thought of her friend and a small impish smile crossed her lips as an idea popped into her head. Perfect timing my ass. "That is good to know." She slid from the desk and walked over to stand beside Shaden. "He has to come with me though."
She smiled as she looked him over. "His coven leader sent me. It seems that I have found myself in another situation of owing something to someone. I have no care to be at anyone's beck and call, as i am sure you can remember." She lightly brushed something from Massimo's shoulder. "So I can just take him with me, if you don't mind and I can kill two birds with one stone."
She linked her arm around Shaden's and smiled up at him.

Massimo laughed, and picked up his phone putting it to his ear. He waited for a second and then said "Get in here." Those are never the best words to here when in his office. A few minutes later the same guy came back in and then three other guys right behind him. Massimo stood up, and looked at the two of them with a smirk. "Heres the problem with that." He started slowly, "Shadens not going anywhere. I don't care who sent you to get him. He's staying here. But your free to go if you like." He looked behind him at the men, and then back over at Shaden, and Arielle "Or, you cane stay here and keep Shaden company in a cell. Its your choice, but this is your last chance to leave." Massimo was cruel but he was a man of his word. If she left right now. He wouldn't bother her again. She wouldn't owe him anything. Thats how much he wanted to keep Shaden.
Shaden was a rebel, and didn't listen to anyone. And one of Massimo's greatest hobby's was to train little rebel vampires like him. It was fun, and a amusing.

Shaden listened silently to Massimo little deal, "My, My Massimo, you must be going soft or something." He said mockingly. Max hated being called soft. Shaden turned his attention back to Arielle. "You can go if you want, theres no need for you to get locked up too." He said softly. He would feel guilty if she got locked up too. Shaden had been through all this before so to him it wasn't a big deal. Plus he knew he could get out easily enough.
Shaden just didn't want anyone else getting hurt because of him. It was stupid to even try to talk Massimo into letting him go.

Now would be a good time to leave. Go on...go. Quickly. Arielle laughed. The soft sound filled the office. She was a moron for not leaving. Not because she was afraid of Massimo his brood of men. But because she had promised herself she wasn't going to be involved with anymore men. Now she was knee deep in something that really had nothing to do with her.
Her phone buzzed in her back pocket, still lightly chuckling she retrieved it. She read the message.Ten minutes and then we are coming down. We? Who the hell was we, and did she mean she was coming to New York or that she was already here? Arielle tucked it away and just looked up at Shaden.
She studied his face for a moment and then turned back to Massimo. "Honestly, I would much prefer being locked up in a cage with tall, blond, and handsome here, then to return to Xavier Alex empty handed.
She picked up Shaden's hands and held it out to Massimo. "Your Shaden here has been a busy boy in London and there in no way that you can touch him because of that." She let his hand drop down from hers. "No offense Max, can I call you Max?" She continued without waiting for the reply. "I would rather wait on you hand and foot than be punished by The Black Nail Coven only once."
She sniffed softly. "So. Let him go back to London, settle whatever needs to be settled, and I can stay here in your little cage until he gets back." She smiled. "You wouldn't really be coming out with nothing."
Arielle smiled impishly at Massimo. No one was staying here. he just didn't know that yet. Hopefully there was a brain behind those beautiful blue eyes of Shaden, and he would not protest to this. If who she thought really was here, he should have been able to feel her by now.
