Efren woke up as a stray streak of sunlight began to slowly burn through a patch of skin on his arm. Hissing in pain he glared at the thick curtain hanging over the window. Someone had forgotten to close it. His hand was healing already, but it would sting for longer than that. Sun was one of the few things that could hurt him...but definitely not the only thing.
Efren pulled the bed sheet over his bare body and held it securely with one hand as he walked towards the lavatory. AFter relieving himself he poured some cold water into the basin and splashed on his face. He turned his head to the mirror above it and gave himself a once over. He could barely recognize the person in the mirror anymore. His face was ashen, sunken in. His skin had turned from a rich bronze to pale white that made him look like a mummy. His once piercing blue eyes were now a icy gray. He took his wet hand and wiped away the image in the mirror and walked back into the bedroom.
"Darling, where did you go? I'm hungry." Suejh, his master, crawled across the large comfortable bed towards him purring ever so slightly.
"Not now Suejh. I'm tired and your idiot servants didn't close the curtains all the way this morning and I was burned." he growled at her...his bad mood intensified by her advances.
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry. Come here and I'll make it all better." She took his arm and pulled him towards the bed, his bed sheet getting lost somewhere on the way.
He rolled his eyes in boredom as she trailed kisses across the burn on his arm. He pulled it away hissing at her, baring his teeth.
"Su, please." he said burying his face in the pillows, not willing to let her see him upset.
"My pet, you forget who has given you this long life....who has made you." she purred in his ear, her hands wandering to places he didn't want them.
Suddenly a rage he couldn't check coursed through his veins. He reached behind him and grabbed her arm, crashing down upon her lips with an intensity that he couldn't have controlled if he had wanted to. She moaned beneath his touch and he relished in the fact that she couldn't read his rage. Her passion made him even more angry and he could feel his hand tightening on her arm.
"Ef, Ef! You're hurting me. Stop!" Suejh murmered against his lips.
But he wasn't going to stop, not this time. He squeezed harder until he felt her arm snap beneath his fingers. He felt her relax her mind focusing on the pain he took advantage of her weakness and bared his fangs sinking them deep into her throat. She gasped as the pleasure of the feed swept over her, wave after wave, and the pain mixed with it. Before she could heal her arm Efren dug deeper into her throat and ripped it out.
He could feel her life fade away beneath him. But it wouldn't be enough. He picked up her body and dragged it to the window....standing in the shadow he drew the curtain open and watched as her body writhed and burned beneath its bright rays.
"You will pay for my life...the life you stole...and the life you now expect me to live." He said through gritted teeth.
Her hand extended towards her and he could hear the blood at her throat gurgle as she tried to speak.
"No one will ever hear you speak again. No more lies Suejh." He picked himself up and walked towards the lavatory. Stepping into the shower he rinsed himself clean, the water flowing pink with her blood. He scrubbed until he no longer smelt of her and soon the only smell was of soap. Stepping out, he heard a camotion coming from the bedroom.
Running out he stood shocked at the scene he saw.

((Sure, I'll give it a shot. But don't hate me if it ain't great. A bit rusty here!!! Lol. )) The light streaked into her apartment, her lips came together in a bitter snarl. She swore angerily at the light that make it's way to her bed awakening her from such a delightiful sleep. She managed to slip off the bed, her body covered by only her bed spread. She crawled along the floor's to where the curtians were, slipping them to shut out the sun. A smile smile curled on her beautiful pink lips, her violet optics peered around the small apartment now she was up mid-day with nothing to do. She had her exploring to do, but only at night. Her mission was to come to Egypt to learn more of The Egyptian God Thoth, and his giving of immortality. His curse......
She indeed hated the curse that plagued her, almost two hundred years already. Her nails skimmed her thigh, leaving small traces of blood that healed leaving only the blood on her flawless thigh. Curses flew from her bitter lips, then suddenly as if someone dead stood before her she stopped. A pain of her arm breaking clawed at her bones. Her arm quickly rose to her neck the pleasure and pain of fangs stung there on her creamy flesh, at that moment she felt rays of light hit her. In that moment she knew Su was dead, she had shared blood with the she-devil herself many years before at a small battle. Once you fed off a vampire or human, you tend to know their feelings as well as feeling their deaths.
Her body shuttered briefly, as she fell limp to the floor. She had been tracking Su as well to kill her while she sought answers, however it seems someone beat her to it. She felt her smile turn to a frown, how she wished to tear out the heartless devil's throat even now....
She was quite aware Su shared one of these apartments, arriving the day before sun had got the better of her trapping her in until today...Perhaps she could hunt the scent no....she would try mind touch. A skill only vampires were able to control, only few humans could respond because the massive power the brain had to produce.
She rose to her knees, finding her bed the warm silk sheets that crooned her small form. She tucked her hair behind her ears, her violet optics closing as her mind sought that of one of anger. "Hello...., hear me dear slayer of Suejh." Her mind sought the other's with speed and an inner light. Her mind gave a slight twitch, she knew Su's killer was immortal hence the fangs. Her fingers traced the bite she had felt, the fear and pleasure Su had felt.

Efren blinked back the emotion he suddenly felt while he watched the servants scrambling around the body of their master.
"What is the meaning of this!" he boomed his voice echoing off the chambers walls.
The servants all tried to answer him at once feverishly giving out explanations. He held up his hand to stop their muttering.
"It is obvious that you don't know. Please call the magistrate immediately." he ordered and with that cleared the room.
Suddenly there was someone there, touching his mind. His hands grasped at the towel around his waist as words fluttered into his brain.
"Hello...., hear me dear slayer of Suejh." the voice was female and clear as a bell, indicating that she was close by.
"Hello yourself. You seem to know me. But I haven't the faintest who you are." his mind reached for her across the small distance.

A purr of amusement slipped from her faint pink tinted lips, as they closed. Her violet optics opened their pupils slightly dialated. He touched her mind back, she almost gasped in awe he had heard her so quickly. So he must be close...
She let a small ivory hand raise to her head, gently rubbing her temples. Lack of sleep, lack of food, and now she was mind touching. She listened silently to his words, his voice was rather soft. He didn't seem like he could do much harm, it was amazing he had killed Su.
She turned her thoughts off, her optics searching the ceiling but no arrows were pointing her to the direction of the man. She laughed at herself, a smile coiling on her lips.
She slipped a loose hand into her raven coffee mixed hair, before pulling her hand to her chest. She inhaled deeply, her mind connecting to his. "Ah, I my dear am Lissa-Marie Dawn Dracono. May I ask who you are? I don't know you dear, I only knew your so called master." Her voice carried every hint of black velvet smoothness, her voice was sweet yet enduring.
She turned over on the bed, her wild wavy hair spreading across the bed. Her optics closing as she awaited his answer.

Efren's mind wandered for a second as he waited for her reply. The blood from Suejh's body was everywhere. And what was he going to tell the magistrate...that someone killed her while he was taking a shower? Or that he had no idea what had happened....
The female vampire's mind touched his again and he felt the warmth of it spread across his forehead.
"Ah, I my dear am Lissa-Marie Dawn Dracono. May I ask who you are? I don't know you dear, I only knew your so called master."
Master. Some master, she'd bent to his every whim. Even in her death Suejh was still serving him.
I am Efren Tajh, I suppose it's Lord now. She was my maker, more than anything else. She killed me. I was just returning the favor.
Efren was surprised at the ice in his voice. He tried not to convey so much emotion but with mind touching it was a difficult thing to do.
Is there something I can do for you? he asked Lissa; conveying his curiosity between their minds. He wondered as to how she knew Suejh.

Lissa smiled gently, the corners of her mouth tugging up gently. Her optics flickered with amusement, as her hands gently moved along her stomach. Her fingers tracing small circles over the warm flesh.
Her opposite hand reached to her forehead, gently rubbing her temples as his musical voice filled her mind.
I am Efren Tajh, I suppose it's Lord now. She was my maker, more than anything else. She killed me. I was just returning the favor.
The icyness of his voice left small shivers down her spine. She bit her lip gently, a slick of blood pooling at the bottom of her lip. Where her tongue gently brushed away most of it, leaving only a few streaks on her fleshy lip.
"Ah. it is nice to meet you then, Lord Efren Taih. It is only right you take what has been taken from you." A smile crossed her blood stricken lips, her eyelids fluttered gently at the passing coolness in the room, someone had left a window open...
Her small fingers continued to trace her stomach, while her mind swam through thoughts. Perhaps she would go to see him, tell him of her so perhaps he could trust her. Lissa didn't know why she wanted him to trust her, something just told her too. Besides her better judgement, Lissa let her mind reach out to his leaving only the small memories of her giving her blood to Su with free will to save the she-devil's life. She left out however the other scenes with lead to it and ended it, curious if he would ask of it.
She let her mind touch him in a sweet embrace. "Efren, I would like to speak with you in person. I grow tired with these hours, and my hunger only grows now. What room are you in, so I might come and speak with you? You have my word as a fallen, to behave." A chuckle of amusement followed at the end of her sentence.
She smiled softly, something that she hadn't known she had done several times so far. She frowned quickly, her hand gently rubbing her temples with slight embrassment.

(( GAH! I'm sorry, I've been uber busy the last few weeks, I'm a horrible person! Please forgive me! I'm back!))
Efren's head began to ache, he needed air but the sun prevented him from going outside. In less than an hour it would set, but the rays were still too potent for any "air".
The next message from the mysterious female vampire leaked its way through the headache and he smiled. She wants to meet. That would help the headache.
Yes. I would like to meet you as well. You will find me in the largest estate in the particular area. It would be difficult to miss. I will meet you in the front room.
He felt his mind lose the connection as soon as he thought the last word. Dropping the sheet that he had been holding around his waist he reached for the clothes the servants had set out. It was a bit more elaborate than his usual dressings but it was dark black and green, the mourning colors.
He scoffed at that. There would be no mourning for him. The irony in that statement made him laugh out loud. He would not mourn for Suejh, and she would never see another morning.
Neither would he.
He pulled on the clothing and wrapped it around his waist securely. His sandals were still beside the door and he slid them on when he left the bedroom. With in several minutes he was downstairs and seated in the front room. He could smell her before the servants announced her. She smelt of lilies...

OOC: Its fine dear. Everyone forget things now and again. No hard feelings. Lissa slipped off her bed with a bright smile, so he would like to meet too. She stretched her arms above her head, before slipping to her closet. She opened it with ease clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she looked over the gowns within it. She placed her yellow gown against her skin, she disliked it returning it to the hanger. She drew a small gown that stopped at her knees showing off some leg, with a delightiful midnight blue color with small crystal sewn into the silky fabric. She smiled lightly slipping on the gown before scurring to her mirror, her hand tightening around her brush as she lightly brushed the curls returning them to their coily bouncing curls. They curled around her neck the lightness of her black and coffee brown colored hair gently tickling her neck.
She slipped on her favorite blue heels the heels themselves rather high, she glanced in her reflection with a slight purr. "Lovely" She slipped her blue velvet cloak over her small form, her optics changing from purple to a crisp blue. She slipped from the room her blue velvet cloak clinging to her form as she made her way to the overly large esate.
She knocked on the door met by a male servant he smiled fakely as he was told to do apparently, she offered her own smile and spoke. "Lissa-Marie Dracono. I'am here to see Lord Efren." She withdrew the hood of her cloak. Vibrant sparkling blue optics lively as she took in the house. "Its beautiful" She lightly twirled with a blink, her soft black lashes tickling across her skin. Sending her lightly lavender and lily scent throughout the room.

"Good evening Lissa. It's nice to put a face with a voice. Or more specifically a mind."
He took her hand and placed a light kiss onto it. As he stood he appreciated her figure. As a vampiress she was created to be breathtaking but even as vampires go she was stunning.
The servants were staring, the body had been carefully removed from the bedroom and placed in a room where the embalmers could get at it. Not that it would do much good. But it still remained that entertaining a beautiful woman not long after the death of your mistress could be a bit misleading. He waved a hand to tell his servants that they could leave but not before saying:
"Thank you for coming to show your condolences Lissa. Suejh would have appreciated it."
The curtain to the servants quarters closed and he smirked.
"That should have satisfied them for the moment." He turned to Lissa, "it might be a good idea to keep this somber. We should be mourning. Now, what can I do for you?"

Lissa bowed her head slightly allowing her thick curls to brush gently along her pale features, she removed her cloak extending it to one of the servant's. She rose her head up the dark blue orbs gave off a soft shimmer of sliver lining as she returned her hand to her side. Her optics gave off a slight pout look of restlessness that would play off that she was indeed mourning for her friend.
She tip-toed to the man placing a small kiss against his cheek as the italians did, she offered a hug with a bright ivory smile. "Indeed, it is nice to see you as well. It is indeed ashame my darling Su has departed before I could visit her one more time."
She waited until the servants all retreated she settled herself in a nearby chair pulling the man with her. "Now, I believe you want to know more of Su correct? The true story..." She rose her optics to meet his the blue color was gone replaced my a vibrant royal purple that glowed slightly against the lighting.

She distracted him for sure. The smell of lilies was intoxicating and it had been so long since he'd smelt much more than the heavy musk of Su's perfume.
She was a good actor, the moisture in her eyes seeming almost real. The servants had been successfully distracted from their little visit.
She pulled him down onto the lush chair with her and purred "Now, I believe you want to know more of Su correct? The true story..." Her eyes locking with his and turning a violent shade of purple.
He smiled. "Yes, please tell me. I'm most interested." He leaned closer focusing completely on what she was about to say, his grey eyes flashing silver in anticipation.

She tilted her head the royal purple of her optics shifting before she spoke. Her voice was as soft as a feather and a sweet as the lily scent that clung to her form. "I was turned nearly two hundred years ago, I've seen much and learned much. In this time I learned of Kirna. A rude loud powerful vampiress that stole women and turned them to become her sex slaves. It was my job to kill this vampiress but I ended up becoming an ally to her. My french lands we're being attacked and people sought my head because I was a beauty a vampire. How they found out however is beyond me..." She paused for a moment her curls clinging gently around her small neck, then bounced as she looked into the man's eyes she could feel Su's blood in this man.
She opened her lips once more beginning to speak once more. Her tongue slipped over her now apparent fangs in a quick stroke her fingers trembling slightly as memories poured into her mind. "Kir, killed the villages for me with her clan to protect me. However I owned her now.. Seeing this she asked me to fight in a small battle between vampires and humans and more vampires that weren't with her. In the battle I grew close to Su her heart was not yet destoried by Kirna at this time. She was a head strong carefree vampire, but on our forces. She had been fataly wounded in the battle her neck ripped from one side to the other. Never had a seen Su look so weak.... I carried her to a cavern on the french undergrounds and gave her most of my blood. For several days I'd kill in the battle and return to give Su my blood, until she was well. Once the battle had ended Su was well again, Su looked up to me and learned from me. I taught her much in our time that is how she became skilled with the sword. Seven years later Kir called on me since the battle I didn't see her or Kir within those years. It seemed that Su was now a personal slave to Kir, Kir was terrible with her slaves she used and abused knowing her pets would never die without much help. It was that year Kir offered her love to me, I however didn't love Kir I rather hated the vampiress and her ways.
However she knew how much I cared for Su, in my leaving Kirna she punished poor Su more. Seeing how Su wanted to be so much like me Kir used it and made Su her pet. I left the lands several years later I heard Su had finally killed Kirna. But...it seems Su's loving heart was turned into Kirna's dark lone tortured. I met to return for Su.. I guess its my fault she turned into what she did. That is why I came to Egypt now, to make my wrongs right. But I was too late she was too far gone wasn't she."
Something in Lissa broke, her orbs held hints of despair, disappointment, and regret. She tilted her head onto her palm looking at him wide eyed. "Anything else you wish to know?"
