The Night........(Ali)

Litte chuckled and glanced at him. She was amused by his comment. "I wont control you. Your a free vampire that can choose what he pleases. Do whatever he wants." She said and chuckled. She didnt think she could control him anyway. She didnt want to control him and that was a first. She had learned power from her creator. And he wasnt easy about that.

But with Gage, she was willing to let him choose his own say. She hadnt allowed that with the other person she had changed and they ended up running away. And the other one hadnt been as fun as Gage. She loved that night they had shared and she couldnt wait for nightfall again. So when they reached the apartment place she kissed his cheek and said, "See ya tonight if ya want." She then disappeared into the building.

-----later that day...dusk...

Litte was standing by her window watching the sun go down. She couldnt wait to take over the night again. She could already feel it calling to her. Her whole body longed to be out there. Running...hunting and tackling people. Making them bed for mercy. She even chuckled at her own cruel thoughts. But she moved away from the window and headed for outside. She would hide in the alley until the sun set.

Gage awoke from his bed. He watched as the little bit of sun left, burned his eyes. He hissed at the sun. He now hated the sun. Because the sun could kill him now. He walked up into Litte’s room. He saw her watching the sunset. To bad it was over with. “don’t kill your self. Ready to go a rid the idiots of the planet?” Gage said as he hugged the back of Litte.

Litte had decided to watch a little more of the sun setting before she would head outside and then she heard Gage come in. The sun was gone from the sky and the night was already cool. And those were the best nights. The not hot..and not cold nights. Just perfect and right for going outside and hunting.

She smiled as she felt Gage hug her from behind. He seemed warm to her cold skin but of course his was just as cold as hers and she had to chuckle. She leaned against him slightly and said, "Idiots? We can get rid of more then just idiots. And if I believe right...We never finished our little wrestling match." She had an evil glint in her eyes.

So she turned so she was facing him and then turned so he was up against the wall. She loved teasing him and she hoped he didnt mind. She moved close to him and said, "The city really should fear the night now that we both are out there." She then let him go and went out into the hall. Like yesterday, she jumped down the flight of stairs and outside.

Right. We’ll finish. But lets get rid of some humans first.” He said. He was pinned to the wall then he was let go. He followed Litte out the door. He also then let him go and went out into the hall. Gage walked slowly as he saw policemen down where they where last night. He walked up to a near by officer. He paid off, as a seventeen-year-old so there was no problem. “So what happened?” Gage said knowing already.

Litte had walked down the street and she glanced at the scene where the two bodies they had dumped were. There were tons of police there and she couldnt help but smirk to herself. It was one murder mystery they would never figure out. Only two people knew who did it and what happened. And they werent going to speak up. But she was curious so she walked over.

The yellow tape was around the alley way and over by the side walk across the street. She heard Gage come up behind her and ask the police officer what had happened. He just seemed confused and said he didnt know, They couldnt figure out what had killed the man or the girl. The bite marks were grusome but not large enough for a dog or wolf to have done that.

"I hope you figure it out." She told the officer, playing off that she was sympathetic. Then she glanced once at Gage, winked, and went off down the street. After tonight...they would have another case they wouldnt be able to solve. The police must be getting pretty tired of unsolves mysteries in this city. As she knew from the start..vampires ruled the city.

“Nice day to you’ll, I hope you find out who did it.” He looked at the officer, then turned slowly, and followed Litte. He caught up to her and couldn’t help on laughing. He showed off his fangs. Then he stopped to speak. “Stupid humans, they have no idea of what hides in the shadows.” Gage said. He loved to see the mortals swivel over some stupid things.

He kept on walking until he found a group of victims up ahead. He saw the idiots joke around and acting stupid. There race should be glad that him and Litte where tacking out the stupid ones. He looked a Litte and approached the group. “So what’s the joke?” Gage said to the three females and three males.

Litte chuckled and glanced at Gage. She was glad he found this just as funny as her. Those humans would never find out who did it and in a way those poor families wouldnt ever know what happened to the loved ones. But she didnt care. They had been stupid enough to fall to the charm of a friendly stranger. Not only friendly..attractive. It was the ultimate weapon. And one way you could tell the humans vampires apart.

She glanced back at Gage as they saw the group. She wanted to go after them as well and she had to smirk that he had guessed exactly where she was headed. The humans were laughing and then stopped all together when they walked over and Gage spoke. She raised an eyebow at them all and wondered why they were so suddenly tongue tied.

They told them a stupid joke and Gage pretended to think it was funny and gave them a fake laugh. He used his charms to bring them in. He stood there and faked smiled for the lovely victims. He could smell the beer in there breath and could tell that they have been drinking. Perfect. Simply Perfect. One of them dragged him into the ally.

She looked at Gage expecting a kiss. He hold her by her waist. And leaned forward. But instead of a kiss, Gage bit down into her neck. He drank the woman dry. Every last drop. He took his mouth off of her and dropped her body. “Your not good or smart enough to get a real kiss from me.” He said wiping the blood from his lips with the handkerchief.

Litte stayed close to Gage slightly and then leaned all her weight into her right foot so her position was slightly leaning forward on the right side. She tilted her head to the side in a gesture that normally showed confusion but instead it made her look cute. She had that perfect little face that people couldnt resist and her eyes held no confusion. They held dead confidence. She was comfortable with her own grounds.

Just like Gage had done she laughed at the joke they had provided and she inwardly rolled her eyes. It wasnt actually that funny. But to get the food you had to act in their way. Make them feel comfortable with you. Make them believe that their instincts to stay away were wrong. I mean who could ever believe that a sweet little thing like her and the sexy Gage could end their life? She glanced at him as he walked away with a girl.

It didnt take her long to get the attention of one of the guys. She flirted with him and teased him gently. Soon enough he went over to her and took her hand. She pretended to be confused and then to be shocked as he pulled her into the alley and into her own realm. She glared at his back and before he turned around she growled and jumped him. She sank her fangs in and ended the poor idiots life. When she finished she wiped the blood away on her sleeve of her long sleeve shirt.

She went over to Gage and smiled as she caught the last bit of his words. "Do you always talk to your food?" She asked him. She was teasing and she leaned against the wall watching him.

“Humph. I believe that can hear some of what I say before they die. So now what?” Gage asked. He looked at the others, they all had left. Gage didn’t really care where they left. He sighed. Stupid humans, vampires ruled the town. He looked at Litte waiting for a reply. He nugged the dead female's head a little bit and looked back at Litte.

Litte chuckled. Talking to the victims she had never done. She walked closer to where he stood and looked at the girls body. "Hmm." She said. The girls eyes were staring off into the distance and blank except for the fear. The fear in her last minutes was evident. She had been truly frightened. But that didnt matter. It was no different. They were always frightened of vampires and kept distance for good reason. So they didnt end up like this.

She glanced at Gage, a question on the tip of her tongue but she didnt know how to ask it. She leaned against the wall and then leaned her head back. She glanced at the moon and stars. "So. You say she wasnt good enough for a kiss." She smirked. "For human she was rather gorgeous. Your standards must be pretty high." She said to him. She looked at him ocne again and then straightened up after his comment.

"Now what? Now we figure out what other fun we can have." She told him and walked past him and out into the streets again. She growled slightly at one of the street lights. They were always so bright. They wouldnt be able to do anything around this street. To bright. To many looking eyes.

Gage stepped in front of Litte. He grabbed both of her hands with both of his hands. “My type is for vampires like you.” Gage said looking into her eyes. He wasn’t noticing the little eyes of the others. There weren’t that many. But he didn’t care of whom saw them together. He liked being with her. She was much like him. And he liked that.

Litte was a little shocked when he stepped in front of her. She hadnt been expecting that and so she almost ran into him. But she didnt. She was just very very close to him. She could feel his breath on her face when he spoke. She was that close and it sent her blood racing. What was he doing? She blinked and swallowed again when he took her hands into his.

He was a little taller then her and so she looked up at him threw her dark lashes and her eyes held confusion. She didnt know what to say when he said what he did. No one had ever said she was liked. She had been liked only by her mother and she had died on her. Leaving her in a cold dark world. If her creator hadnt adopted her she would still be human and there wth the others.

She chuckled though, trying to pull it off cool. "My type? Trouble maker you mean?" She shook her head. "Im not the type for anyone. No one truly likes me after they get to know me. Its rather sad but im used to it by now." She told him an shrugged. She noticed the humans looking at them. Some with 'aww thats cute' expressions. Others were smirking like they knew something she didnt. And yet others just watched.

“Trouble is my middle name. You are fine. I haven’t not like you yet at all. Your beautiful, playful, cunning, I could keep on going, but you are perfect in my eyes.” Gage said. He was using his old wonderful charm once again, but this time it was for real. He rubbed he hair out of her eyes, and took her hand again. He was still ignoring the other people.

Litte looked at him with a little bit of confusion in her eyes. She listened to each compliment he gave and it made her blood race more. She swallowed and shook her head. "Nah. Im none of those things really. Im just a vampire girl that doesnt belong anywhere." She whispered so no one else would hear her answer. She didnt need humans starting to flip out. Not that anyone would believe them.

She also had her doubts about what he was saying. She didnt believe she was any of that. Far from it. And what if he was just charming her? He seemed fairly good at that and she couldnt blame him. He was good looking so why not take advantage of that. Hell she would if she was vaguely pretty.
