Colbie couldn't help her hunger, she was starving. She had been waiting for a guy to come out of a buisness meeting for the past hour. He had gotten out of prison for murdering his wife and four year old daugher, sadly he had gotten away from the justice system, but not from Colbie.
She was sitting on a bench with a large bag that had books about paranormal, she was flipping through one while she continuously glanced over to the building. The man came out and Colbie quickly put her belongings away. Colbie quickly started to follow the man, stalking him. She looked behind her, no one, it was a quiet night on this street. Colbie took a deep breath and grabbed the man's shoulders tossing him into the alley. He had mostly been taken off guard, but the super strenght helped a lot.
He turned to face Colbie, his face mixed with confusion and mild intrest. Colbie forced him against the wall quickly, with out warning or small talk she sunk her fangs into his neck, she felt his blood start to flow through her, she drank heavily.
His body fell limp, she kept him pinned till she knew every last drop was gone. She let him fall and she was panting she leaned against the wall for a moment, she wiped a small trace of blood from her lips. Now full she noticed she wasn't alone in the alley. She walked further into the alley and noticed a shadow, "hey you, who are you?"

Nivek had been walking home and decided to take one of his shortcuts. As he walked down the alley he noticed Colbie and the man she had made into a meal. Shocked he stopped and stared like a statue. He held his camera but was too scared to raise it and snap a photo. Even as she turned and came towards him he couldn't move. This was the first time he came this close to a vampire and supposedly only the second time they noticed him.
As she spoke Nivek jumped a little and came out of his statue like position. Looking around nervously he responded, "What? Who... who's asking?"

Colbie crossed her arms over her chest, "I asked you first," she responded with a playful smile on her face. She looked back for a moment, there was a couple that walked past the alley way. She was glad that they were in their on little world or they might have seen the body before she had the chance to get away. She turned back to the man in front of her. She studied him for a moment, he looked a bit nervous, verge of panic, a camera on him.
She glared at the camera, had he snapped a picture while she wasn't paying attention? She studied him a moment longer the nervous look made her drop her defensive pose, she put her hands behind her back the poofy black skirt moved with her. "Look i'm not going to hurt you."

Nivek dropped the camera slowly and let it hang around his neck. Still nervous but now a little less he calmed down a bit. He stood there wondering what would happen and what he should do, run or stay? He wore his usual attire, baggy camo pants a white t-shirt with a brown jacket and of course his hair was a mess. He finally gained a little bit of courage and spoke,
"Alright, but what about him? You hurt him." He nodded toward the limp body behind her. He awaited a response which would help him decide what to do, either make a run for it and fight if needed or stay and continue this awkward conversation.

Colbie looked back and frowned, she wasn't very good at making a clean bite yet, his neck was a mess and blood had spilled onto his grey business suit. From this mans point of view, Colbie was the bad person, she had take his life, it was something she was still dealing with. "You'd be suprised at the things he's done," she said, looking back glaring at the camera, she really didn't want a picture of her sinking her fangs in, or forbid he had taken a video. "You never did tell me your name," she stated wondering if he was actually going to tell her.
She wondered what to do with him, he was a witness to murder. A murder she had commited. Even with a picture though would anyone believe him? He hasn't done anything wrong, just wrong place, wrong time. She had decided to live off humans, but not innocent ones. No she would let him live no matter what, but his camera she decided could be replaced if need be.

Although he didn't want to reveal much about himself to his new friend a name couldn't hurt,
"Nivek... my names Nivek." He couldn't know for sure if this man was a bad man. How could he believe a complete stranger. But if she could do that to that guy what would she do to him. Nivek was going to have to be very careful,
"What kind of bad things?" He wondered if she knew he had snuck in a picture some where in between all the commotion. Would she take it the wrong way and suck him dry? He couldn't only hope not. But now he just wanted to know why the man on the ground deserved what he got.

Colbie grew a bit upset, it wasn't like she enjoyed taking lives, though she knew no one would miss the trash that now lay dead in the alley way. "I know you see me as the monster," Colbie said slightly angered, "but he is the one who murdered his wife..." she choked on the next part as tears bubbled in her eyes she looked up to keep them from falling, "he's the monster, he murdered his four year old daughter."
Colbie wasn't usually angry or sad, she was typically the trusting happy-go-lucky type, but she hadn't expected a complication like Nivek, things hadn't gone as planned for her tonight, "i'm still sorry you had to see that.. wait, what the heck are you doing in a alley anyways?"

Nivek stepped forward with his hand out as she started to cry, but then caught himself and paused mid way through. He felt bad but at the same time remained in his cautious state. He was atleast relieved somewhat to find out about the mans background. He thought to himself,
Is she doing good? Taking out bad men? Is she some sort of justice seeker, or should I not go along with this and tell her shes not one to be judge and jury? ...Is she a superhero? ...What the hell is going on?!
When asked the question of his current location he looked around confused and said quietly almost to himself, "I'm starting to wonder that myself..." He shook himself out of it and continued in a normal voice, "I was walking home."
OOC: I apologize it took me forever to post. Its that I just started work so I wont be around much. Ill still try my best to post though.

Colbie wiped tears away with the back of her hand, mascara smudged and clung to the back of her pale hand. She had noticed his gesture, the one he had cut off. She understood though. She was the undead, something prickled the living about her. And after what he had just seen her do, there was no way she could blame him. She would be scared if she were standing in his shoes.
"You shouldn't walk through dark, spooky alleyways. Darker things than me make places like this their hunting grounds." Colbie said taking a step back giving him more space. "Nice camera," she said staring at it.
((OCC: not a problem, I won't be around from the 11-16/17 of this month, sorry for the inconvienience))
