Another? Morgan turned, trying to see into the deep shadows of the park. Mottled, damp leaves, a lamp cast a cold glow on the path they stood on. Nothing. She shook her head, confused. She couldn't sense anything, though not for the first time she was wishing for daylight. It was more than nostalgia though, she hated not being able to see into the dark places, knowing now what might be lurking there. The feeling of being hunted hadn't grown any more attractive since Ruban had stalked her those few weeks ago.
"How can you tell? I can't see..."
She frowned slightly, disconcerted. The dress she was wearing seemed suddenly too bright, it glowed a rich cerulean in the lamplight. Made her feel like a beacon to all sorts of night creatures, now she understood a little why the vampires wore black so often. She tried to shake it off.
"You must get pretty bored to do something like that for fun. How old are you?"

Was it luck that someone turned on a light and showed where the vampire was? Or in this case a vampiress. Shaden didn't get a good look at her because she was quickly back in the shadows but now at least he was sure someone else was watching them.
"Just trust me on this Morgan." He said almost in a whisper as he stared at th place the vampiress had been only moments ago.
He looked back at her with a loud sigh. Hopefully this wasn't a vampiress like him who liked to play games. He noticed the frown and couldn't help but smile. She was still to young too feel the presence of the vampiress that was so close to them it was amusing.
"Yes I do but theres not much else to do when you have forever to live and you've already done everything you wanted to do in life." He said with a smirk "I'm 1123"

Valhalla tilted her head invisably in the shadows, she had been there for their intire conversation and something he said intreged her, He had said earlier that he was an ex-soldior in World War I...however now he was saying he was in his Thousands!? How obsered she thought, Either he was lying to her Grandchilde or he had been a vampire before the War. She folded her arms over her chest not liking this character but unable to walk away finding herself even more curious

Valhalla wasn't alone in picking the inconsistency. Morgan narrowed her eyes, she wasn't the world's best student, but she knew when WWI was. It was slightly insulting that he thought he could pull this on her. She grinned brightly, showing needle sharp fangs. There was still some blood between the teeth.
"I didn't know they let vampires fight in the Great War."
She folded her arms and tilted her head quizzically, studying him. It was impossible to tell how old he was. 1000 was ridiculous, more than twice Ruban's age. She couldn't even imagine a five-hundred-year-old very well, though she knew him and had drank his blood. The watching vampire gone from her mind, she waited for his answer.

Shaden laughed and he almost drooped his blade but calmed himself down and held tight to it once more. He sighed and shook his head. Stupid vampire. She thought he was lying. Well he kind of was. He was never really a 'soldier' just more of someone behind the scenes who only fought at night and drank the blood of the enemy. It was easy. It didn't matter who saw him drinking blood because a moment mater they would be shot and killed or if they did live. Who would believe them? People simply thought they had gone insane.
Shaden was tired of playing the calm vampire now. He no longer cared if there was another one around. He stepped forward and in a quick flash movement of his hand, he had a hold of her by the throat. "You got to taste my blood. Now its my turn." He whispered as he smelt her hair again. He smiled wide enough to once more show his fangs to her.

"Your some Big Vampire to bully Fledglings" A cold melodic voice sounded loudly around them even tho she wasn't yelling Valhalla stepped from the shadows her face holding a cold anger making her eyes burn more.
"Let her Go" she said with the same angered tone

Morgan struggled wildly as a trapped animal. She snarled, and raked him with glassy fingernails. But Shaden's grip was cold and hard as stone. Using both hands she still couldn't break it. Her eyes met his, wide with fear and rage, black as night. His smile was vicious, she flinched in his grip as if he'd struck her, and tried to twist away as he lent close to her bare throat.
Then Valhalla's voice cut through the night and she froze in his grasp. The voice was sharper than a knife and cold, and she knew suddenly who it belonged to. This, then, was Valhalla. Gratitude hit her and she almost smiled. If there was anyone she wanted on her side at the moment it was Ruban's sire. She struggled to turn her head to see, but couldn't. The hold was too tight.

Shaden had only held tighter as Morgan struggled to get free. This was the fun he'd been wanting most of the night. To play around with those who didn't know him so well and didn't understand the power he held.
What Shaden didn't like was how Morgan suddenly froze as th female came out of the shadows. He turned his head to look at her, the smile still in place. "I don't bully. I play around with my food." He glanced at Morgan and back to Valhalla, "I don't listen to females." He said his voice low but not deadly. This couldn't end well for him, but he didn't let go, however his hand did slightly loosen on Morgans throat.

"why listen to anyone?" Vladimir asked as he came out of the shadows on a roof top.
"if he wants to mess with a fledgling let him, why do you care?" Vladimir said trying to piss the female off.
He then laughed evil as he did a lot, he waited on the female to react.

Valhalla turned her head and looked at the new vampire her face had no expresion for a moment then she smiled and tilted her head "Well now...who might you be?" she said with a seductive wink "And since you asked this Fledgling is my Grandchilde and I would appreciate no harm to come to her...or else I might have to start doing something...violent?" she tilted her head in an almost innocent bit but there was something dark behind her eyes

With the slight slackening of his grip Morgan could twist to look at the vampiress approaching them. She was gorgeous, all curves and dark hair. Though Morgan had never met her, this woman did fit the description of Valhalla, and she had a kind of grace. An easy way of walking. She looked dangerous, and Morgan hoped Shaden was thinking the same thing. "Valhalla..." Her voice was weak through her crushed throat. Briefly she met the woman's brilliant eyes, then the cold hand on her throat tightened again. She looked away with a short cry of pain.

Vladimir smiled and said "i never really had a family so i really wouldn't understand why you care." he then added "the names Vladimir, nice to met you....Valhalla was it?"
He hoped of the roof doing four back flips, he was a bit of a show off, and landed on his feet not to far away from her and said "so what is it like to have a family?"
He was only asking to by the other vampire some time, he didn't even know him but he might make a new friend, Vladimir still didn't like acting so dumb.

Valhalla arched her eye brow this young one intriged her, if she didn't have other pressing matters she might have had a little fun with him. "Truthfuly they are a real pain..." she said with a mischevious grin but still keeping her eye on the vampire holding Morgan she sighed and turned towards him and walked over gently placing a hand on the vampires shoulder "Let her go...she's only a fledgling she's not worth your trouble" she said in a soft velvety voice "After all...you could always have your fun with something with a bit more spunk...something that would be a bit of a challenge for you" she said looking right into Shaden's eyes

Vladimir arced one of his eye brows, did he really want to help out the vampire that was killing the fledglings or the female, he couldn't make up his mind.
Having the Valhalla as a friend might be a lot of fun, she seemed cleaver and above that she was without a doubt beautiful and possible deadly.
As for the other vampire he was cold like Vladimir was.
Vladimir made up his mind and said "leave the fledgling alone, she hasn't even had the chance to see what immortality is like yet."
He had decided on Valhalla, weather or not it would go anywhere Vladimir didn't care, it was worth a shot.
