Vertigo had promised himself it was only one drink, one to calm him down for the night. That gig in the last bar had earned him a pretty penny. He smiled to himself. Fantastic. This had been an entertaining week, and what better way to end the working week than with a well payed concert and a quiet drink before he strolled home to his apartment. Ordering a bottle of beer, he stood at the bar listening to the dance music he usually loathed. This song wasnt too bad, it wasnt exactly 'Massive Attack' but it was ambient.
Taking a sip of his beer, he sighed in content. Yup, tonight was a good night.

He caught her eye. There was something about his lighter physical appearance (of blonde hair and blue eyes) that she thought clashed nicely with her darker personality and appearance that naturally came from her vampire qualities. Aurora thought she’d take a quicker approach with this one than she normally took. The vampire placed a lovely smirk on her façade before gliding up to stand in front of the handsome male human. Sure he was older than her in appearance, but that never seemed to stop the others before.
She went to lightly place a hand upon the human’s right shoulder and to bring the other to lay upon his chest, moving with the quickness of a vampire so that he didn’t have a chance to say or do anything. She found his build to be more muscular than she had expected: something that she liked. Rory replaced her smirk with a seductive and slightly longing look that she was attempting to bore into him.
“Hey, cutie. Wanna dance?” she asked with one of her more flirtatious tones.

All he had done was blinked. Just a blink. And then on opening his eyes a beautiful woman stared him in the eyes, her hands on his shoulders. Vertigo hadnt even felt her. He smiled charmingly. "Well hello gorgeous, A dance would be wonderful." Tonight was DEFINATLY his lucky night. Placing his drink down he examined her in the light. She was stunning. dark hair with bright blue eyes. enchanting. And she certainly had the figure. Only, something about her..something about her seemed perculiar. He couldnt put his finger on it... Ah well. he thought in a carefree mood.

She didn’t know if her “chosen one” was yet drunk, but what did it matter? He said yes, just as suspected and in a charming tone as expected. Her lips pulled into a small and crooked smile at his compliment, her electric eyes sparkling. Aurora could tell by the male’s eyes that he liked what he saw. Rory lifted herself slightly to let her lips reach just under his jaw on his neck with a small and excellent kiss.
“Wonderful,” the word was a purr in his ear as she pressed her body closer to his, fitting the shape of him.
Aurora then grasped the collar of his shirt lightly and backed slowly unto the dance floor. The song was now a somewhat upbeat one, something that Rory enjoyed only slightly as it was a song of this time when she preferred the older songs of her personal past. However, it was a perfect song to dance the way she wanted to with this fellow.

Vertigo raised his eyebrow in intrigue. A kiss? how forward. Using one hand on her waist, he pulled her close with a smile. Then being pleasantly dragged onto the dancefloor he had one sudden realisation. He wasnt too good at dancing. Vertigo took a deep sigh of annoyance. 'Get some balls for once' he thought to himself with a pinch of self loathe. Starting the dance slowly and with little effort, Vertigo came in close and confidently. After all, in life all one needs is confidence. With a smirk of awkwardness he leaned in to speak. "Sorry if i'm not too good at this, i'm not one for dance music." Vertigo said with a slight chuckle to hide his self doubt.

Rory enjoyed the reaction she received from the man. Though no different than expected, the guy’s behavior was still amusing as it always was (or at least as amusing as it was going to get for the depressed vampire damned to an eternity of being alone). Aurora smiled up at the human. His words and body language did not hide his true feelings. Rory was just too used to the way humans communicated, and even did not communicate, what they felt. She forced her smile to grow wider and her eyes more seductive as she pulled herself closer to fit the shape of the male.
“Skill or talent are not needed,” she simply stated as she turner herself around to “dance” with him.
Her body fit the grooves of his, her hands on his hips though her back against his front, as the vampire moved with the music rhythmically. Aurora knew how to dance, both the way that was proper and the way that was more pleasurable. She chose the latter to maneuver upon this one as she often chose to do. The feel for the music was just so simple for her, especially the way this one was going.
Rory turned her face so that her mouth was to his ear, “Enjoying yourself?” she whispered with her erotic female tone. Another specialized kiss was planted upon his jaw after her words were spoken.

The woman pulled closer and became more tempting. Vertigo was on his way to heaven if his luck continued this way. He 'danced' with her slowly and surely. It was as if confidence was being drawn from nothing. And he wasnt even drunk.
Vertigo swayed with her and held her hands on his hips, his head close to hers. And after a seductive whisper and another arousing kiss, he was now drunk from her. "Having the time of my life. And you?" He asked smiling. "You know, i never did happen to catch your name?" He said raising his eyebrow cheekily, it was always nice to know your partners name wasnt it.

Aurora found it wonderfully satisfying to know that she was doing nothing to stir the feelings or thoughts of this human, besides using her sensual behavior, as the vampire who was capable of mind control. She smirked at his reply. He was cute and growing on her even as calloused as she was.
“ More than you know,” Rory continued her whispered tone as close as she was to his ear.
The vampire turned slowly, being sure to keep her body close and graze her figure against his, to face the male. She placed her hands, with her fingers laced together, on the back of his neck and continued to hold herself near to him, maybe a tad closer even if possible.
“Why would you like to know my name? Do you believe you may need something to unintentionally whisper tonight, or is there more behind the question?” she lavishly coated the words with tones that hopefully allowed the boy to become pleased. The one word was spoken in such a way as to refer to something else.
Yes, mind games were being played. Aurora was particularly fond of them and believed he may be as well. Sometimes, she can be such a tease.

Now facing Vert', she pulled him closer. He basked in the sensuality. Hearing the whisper, he smiled with a carefree attitude. "Perhaps i'd just like to know who i'm dancing with, you make strong insinuations." Vert' laughed charmingly. "But what of the latter? What if I would like to whisper that name" He was loving the mind games. But he wondered curiously if she would follow up those words. Vertigo's eyes dimmed slightly in amusement, his smirk the embodyment of cheek.

Aurora smiled widely at his response. He was speaking so formally; he had caught on to something of hers. There was something about this fellow that Rory liked. She couldn’t quite place her finger on it, but it was certainly there.
“I make such insinuations because I know that what I am suggestion is in fact a wish of yours. Perhaps I wish the same. You can judge that,” the vampire said the words matter-of-factly before slowly moving in for a kiss, placed upon the mortal’s lips this time.
Kissing was a specialty of Rory’s—a skill that she was quite proud of. She went with a slow, open-mouthed kiss that molded the shapes of the two’s lips together ever so delicately. It was what she liked to call a “teaser”; something that she lured many victims in the past with. It worked every time. Especially when she thrust herself closer still to the warmth of the human, as she did now.
“Aurora,” she whispered into his ear after pulling away from the kiss with her breathing a tad heaver than normal, “Aurora is my name.”

Vert' smiled with pleasure. "I can judge can i?" he asked rhetorically. "Well then, what if I presume you wish the same?" He followed up the rhetorical question with a curious, genuine one. Vertigo slowly accepted the kiss with a more intimate approach. Putting a hand on her cheek, and slowly moving it down to her neck. She was an amazing kisser. Everything about her made him look like an amateur, never the less. Vert' shrugged off the self doubt with a knowing smile. "Aurora" The name rolling off his lips pleasantly. "I'm Tyler." He lied, warmly.
Like anyone would know his real name. Pfft.

Aurora had to admit that he boy’s actions seemed to naturally flow during and after the kiss; they actually managed to aroused her a tad bit. A smooth one this human is and a rather good kisser as well, Aurora thought. Rory liked this male more than she had others. She liked the way he said her name…No one had in so long…Usually the victims were taken before she had the chance to tell them what it was. She was being careful with this one. Aurora actually wanted this one; in both the sexual and thirsting manner. Normally she just picked a random unlucky fellow (or woman) and went with it…This one was different…But how? the question echoed in the back of her mind as she seductively peered up into the man’s eyes. The vampire pulled herself close to his ear again and purred her words.
“You are quite excellent in judging...and kissing…Tyler,” she practically moaned the fake name.
She knew that it was not his read name. She could just tell these things. A man’s lie was so obvious. Aurora found it quite amusing when humans believed what they said when they were in fact withholding the truth. One more dainty, closemouthed kiss was delivered before Aurora decided that she had delayed this process long enough.
“Would you like to proceed to a more private place?” Rory pulled off a rather lovely longing façade as she glanced up into the human’s eyes…
But was it a façade or was there indeed a true desire within the vampire? She was becoming disgusted with herself. He is merely a victim, nothing more. A human that will soon be finished. Just a play thing…Right?

The newly named Tyler felt himself completely consumed. It was almost as if he now was Tyler. He couldnt give her his name....simply because he couldnt really remember it. He'd been going as Vert' simply because it had a semantic feeling to it. And then a question loomed over him. Was he just a toy to be played with until she got bored? Tyler shook the feeling off in an instant, trying to lull himself into a false sense of security...unless that security wasnt so false after all. She pulled closer and whispered in his ear. The words singing through his mind. "Thank you, but i'm afraid my kissing is nothing compared to yours" He said warmly and truthfully. Tyler kissed her once more, revelling in her presence.
Vert' raised his eyebrow in a pleasant suprise. "A private place?" Already? she was very forward indeed. "What do you have in mind?" He asked, returning the longing gaze, with a more knowing one. He was starting to feel he definatly was a plaything. A lump knotted in his stomach, it was a mixture of hope, disappointment and ...hope.

His response made the vampire smile. She always loved a sincere compliment, even if it was coming form her dinner. Rory received the kiss with what was actually pleasure. She prolonged the kiss for a reason that she could not place her finger on…Something was happening within the calloused being and she wasn’t sure she liked it…or did she?
She knew she was being foreword, but that was how she worked. Aurora could tell that he was catching on. It did not matter what is feelings were to her and it would matter to no one when she was through with him…But was she lying to herself when she told herself this?
“Would you like to venture to a hotel or do you have an apartment of your own that you wouldn’t mind me seeing?” Aurora asked with confidence, “Of course, unless you’d rather not,” this was said in a complete opposite tone compared to that of the first with a quick, uneasy glance away from his eyes and back into them.
Was this her way of trying to get him out of this? What was going on? This was nothing like what Aurora was used to. As she stared back up into the eyes of the male she found herself being emotionally torn. Somewhere inside of her she did not want to take this soul. But what was so special about this particular human?

Tyler smiled with eyes half closed. ...There was nothing wrong with showing someone your appartment was there? "Of course, my appartment would be fine. Its not far from here." He said opening his eyes. Why was he doing this? everything was too fast. Alarm bells should have been ringing off in his head. But they werent. The alarm bells were slow for service. He caught her glance. She seemed, troubled, unsure of something. Tyler couldnt really make out what was wrong. "Something wrong?" He asked warmly. His eyes met hers, she seemed so troubled, indecisive. "Would you like a drink perhaps?" He asked curiously. The human had no idea what was wrong. He'd said nothing offensive. Had he acted out of turn? No, he'd been fine. ....Strange.
