With Immortality Comes A Price [[Vladimir]]

[[OOC okay.. so this is really bad, I know.. but I figured I should start it out with a bit of a backstory behind why Haemish is sitting outside of a forest waiting for a Vampire =P. if you want me to change anything, feel free to tell me, because I know this isnt very good]]

Haemish sat at the edge of a forest quietly, twirling young Kelly's soft hair between his fingers. Silence surrounded them as they waited facing the temptingly dark forest. Ever since Haemish discovered vampires, he had become fascinated with the dark, hardly leaving his house during the day, and only living at night. He had his lifestyle down pat before he needed it.

Leaning forward to kiss the top of her head lightly, Haemish felt grateful for her presence; he really did love her. She'd supported him since his bestfriend was killed, and even agreed to help him avenge said friend. She planned to become a vampire along with him, then they could live together for eternity. Shifting his weight on the log that lay on it's side, he breathed deeply, hoping this would be his last night of mortality. He'd wished for that since he was sixteen, but every night was the same; a letdown.

All the sounds of the forest seemed amplified signifigantly, each noise bringing in it's own tremor of anxiety. After so long of knowing what he wanted, he was beginning to get anxious with his decision. He knew there would be pain, there had to be pain with immortality; nothing came without price. But quite frankly, Haemish was ready to pay a very high price for revenge.

Vladimir Walked through the forest, he was only looking around to night but would not hesitate to fight or bite anything.

He didn't come through the forest often,usually only when he was being hunted, he was looking for places to hide if he was hunted later when he came upon a man and a girl. He thought about killing them, but decided not to.He walked up to them and stood there thinking

He had been standing there for about 5 minutes before he decided to say "looking for something?"

He stared at them coldly with his black eyes.

Haemish glanced up to see a figure as cold as the voice he'd just heard. The sound sent a shiver rippling through his spine, causing him to shake slightly for a few moments. He tried to cover it up, and for the most part managed too. He wasn't too good with concealing emotions though. He sensed something unusual about this person. Was it a vampire? After so long, was did he finally stumble across the undead he'd been searching for?

"Yes, actually, we are."[/i] Haemish replied politely, his voice not matching his insides at all. He felt nervous, and intimidated, but his voice came across smooth and confident. It was the first time he was able to hold a steady voice when he was scared. In his nineteen years, he hadn't learned much about body language or tones or anything else for that matter, but he knew for sure that he wasn't matching up. He bit his lower lip a little, staring into the cold, black eyes that rested upon him. He stared through his electric blue ones, alit with anxiety.

He waited, uncharacteristically patiently, for the man to ask for what. He did not want to seem like a madman asking about vampires.

Haemish was suddenly able to feel the blood rushing through his veins. Every function, including breathing, moving.. everything was heightened. He wasn't sure why everything was so intensified, and truth be told, was a little overwhelmed by it. Assuming a subtlly protective position in front of his girlfriend, he reached out a hand. "Haemish.[/i]

Vladimir smiled and said "scared I'm going to hurt her?"

He frowned, he was getting impatient now. He said in a very cold voice "what are you looking for?"

Vladimir wanted answers, and if he didn't get them, he was thinking about pulling out his dagger.

He didn't have time to do that though, about 1 min after he asked what they were waiting for a branch from one of the giant trees fell of and came falling towards Vladimir.

He heard it coming, without even looking he reached up with one hand and grabbed the branch, he then tossed it about 200 feet away.

He waited for one of them to say something, as if nothing had happend.

"Just instinctive, I suppose."[/i] he answered carefully. Which was true, he hadnt really thought about his actions before he moved only two steps to be standing in front of her. "Watc-"[/i] he gasped as a tree branch cracked off and came falling towards the man.

His heart leapt, skipping several beats before it began launching itself at his ribcage. This was it. There was a vampire. Certain, he risked a glance back to Kelly, who had a bit of a grin on her thin lips. He bit his own lip, before he looked back to the man, who looked impatient, and replied. "A vampire."[/i] he replied calmly. Yet again, voice defying his churning inards.

Haemish was doing his best not to leap in excitement though, despite his anxiety, he was so glad he'd finally found a vampire... Now all he had to do was convince him to turn them both, which he wasn't too sure about it's level of ease. He decided to put it out there that that is what he wanted, no, needed.

"A vampire to turn us,"[/i]

He smiled as he said "you just found one"

He looked at them and asked "but why do you seek immortality? tell me this and i will turn you"

Vladimir was telling the truth, he would turn Him, but as for the girl, no he wouldn't turn her, she would serve to teach him a lesson, one he will never forgive Vladimir for, but a necessary one....

Vladimir didn't let what he was planing show on his face, his face remained stone cold, as it was accustomed to doing.

Haemish couldnt help but grin. His grin, however, faltered slughtly when he was asked to explain. The vision of his bestfriend being taken away before darkness took him burned into his memory, eyes prickling at the memory. One word came to his lips. "Revenge." he said cooly and curtly.

His lips pursed sublty into a bitter expression. He hoped that this may be enough to convince the vampire to turn him. He needed to kill the other one. Needed to avenge his bestfriend. He became unaware of the prescence of Kelly and stepped forward, leaving her unprotected in the process, so if he got turned he wouldnt be able to save her. He didn't realise that at the moment though, playing right into the vampire's plans.

He ignored the ringing in his ears at the anticipation of the fiery pain he'd heard of. Pain that lasted for days. He took a deep breath.

"very well then, i shall turn you" Vladimir said as he stealthy pulled his knife out of his pocket and hid it in his sleeve, but before he hid the knife he sliced open his other wrist.

He then walked over a bit the man that had asked him to turn him, Vladimir drank a small amount of the mans blood at the same time, he then held up his own wrist to the man and instructed him to drink blood from it, it was the wrist he had sliced with his knife.

His plan seemed to be working perfectly, after he turned the man he would show him the true meaning of pain......

A sigh of relief escaped Haemish's lips when the vampire needed no explanation for his revenge. He wasn't sure why the vampire slit his wrist though, but brushed it off as part of the turning, which is was. He suddenly felt cold lips on his neck, a piercing feeling, and then fire. Fire burning throughtout his body, slowly, ever so slowly. He did was he was told and put his lips to the man's bleeding wrist. It was hard to concentrate over the exruciating pain of his turning.

He began taking deep breaths, thinking of things that might distract him. He knew it would be over after a few days, but it was hard not to regret it with the agony he was enduring. He glanced over to Kelly, who padded her way softly to the vampire. Haemish reached out and took her hand, but collapsed onto the grassy earth, still grasping her soft hand. She gave him a reassuring smile, her lips parting to reveal straight teeth and a lovely grin.

She was quite excited to be with him forever, despite the pain. She could see him writhing a bit, but knew it would be worth it when they couldn't feel pain afterwards. She bent down and kissed him lightly. "I love you,"[/i] she said. He moaned the same words genuinely. Kelly rose once more, facing the vampire, awaiting immortality.

Vladimir grinned and said "and now you learn a even more useful lesson........The true meaning of Pain!"

Upon finishing his words he slide his knife out of his sleeve and tossed it at Kelly, it stabbed through her heart killing her instantly.

He then asked sarcastically "what are you going to do about it? kill me? good luck!" he turned his back and began to walk away as he laughed evilly

Haemish felt as though the knife had hit him in the heart. He moaned in agony, in pain everywhere. Every part of everything hurt him. "NO!"[/i] he meant to scream, but it came out as a pant; breathy and feeble. He was helpless, and useless. For the second time in his life, he watched the closest person to his heart fall limply to the ground, dead. Although the first time it was fall limply into a vampire's arms before the vampire took off.

He had nothing, no one, for eternity.

not if the fight gets interrupted by a gang or cops/swat and we decide to work together to get out alive.
