"A werewolf." He replied, "The only thing that can stand up against a vampire." He led Anneliese into the house and back to her room so she could put her clothes away. He sighed and lightened his face. "You should really change now, tomorrow is going to be a busy day, and yes I mean day."

" Why does a werewolf choose to fight us?" she carried on asking questions and sat herself down on the bed pushing the kittin to the side slightly. She put her clothes down onto the bed for a second. "day? i have to be up in the day?" She looked at him rather confused, side glancing to her weaponary belt she realised her weapons were still in the hall next to the sofa. Pulling her legs up onto the bed she crossed them with ease. Forgetting she had left the window open, the wind blew in drastically and threw her hair all over the place. Glancing back at the window she ignored it and looked back to her father awaiting some answers.

"Werewolves are there to balance the vampire population. The same way fish are eaten by bears, and bears killed by humans. Also, if there were too many of us, we would be recognizable to humans, werewovles take care of that. It is part of our life." Poison smiled, "And you'll be up in the day, because my acting career doesn't take place at night," He replied. "Get some more sleep if you want." He went towards the door, leaving his daughter to change.

Anneliese still looked rather confused about the whole werewolf thing. She watched her father leave the room, glancing to her clothes, she picked up the red and black corset. Taking off her old clothes she Pulled the beautiful corset onto her body it was a tight petite fit, perfect for her figure. She slipped on the short black skirt, which was also detailed and laced around the sides and the back. The final peice was needed, she grabbed her boots and put them on, doing the laces up all the way upto her knee. She stood about 5 ft 7 and looked at herself in the mirror. Leaving her hair as it was, she opened the bedroom door, leaving the kitten on her bed. She made her way down to the hall, walking somewhat gracefully and also looking alittle older and mature than before. In one hand she had gripped her weaponary belt noticing she still had her daggers to sharpen.

Poison came back from the basement with tools to tend to the daggers with when Anneliese came down. "Looks nice." He complimented. Then he sat down on the couch and looked over her daggers. He wiped them off before he even started something else. He made sure the metal shined and looked new even though it was extremely old.

Slumping herself fown onto the sofa clumsly like, she drew out a picture from her pocket that was also slightly torn and warn away. The photo had been the only connection with her human life until now. Looking up at her father slightly watching him with her daggers, she pulled herself off the sofa and rose to her feet. The light to be dim in the hall, as he was busy with her daggers she walked over placing the old photo into his lap. Both Him and her mother holding Anneliese, protecting her like she was prescious and beautiful, so fragile that if you was to touch her she would fall to peices. Anneliese did look exactly like her mother, with her fathers eyes. She stood back alittle. Afterall her father deserved the last remaining picture of what was for all that he had done for Anneliese.

Poison smiled at Anneliese. "Thank you." He motioned her closer and pulled out the old ring and necklace. First, he place the the necklace with the crystal heart around her neck and then slipped the ring on her right hand. "These were both your mothers, you deserve them, and you look so much like her." He replied, they were the only things he had managed to find of their old house.

Her eyes wanderd down to the necklace placed around her neck and her eyes widend and at the ring which was placed perfectly on her finger. A smile creeped upon her face, she fell forward into his arms as she wrapped hers gently around his neck and leaned her head upon his shoulder. Letting go of him gently, she sat beside him, pulling herself up upon the sofa. She sat sideways facing him, watching him clean up her daggers. "what was mum like?" she asked curiously, she couldnt remember much of anything apart from the night she had got turned in such a dramatice way, it scared her through this life.

Poison hugged his daughter back and then continued wiping off the daggers slowly. " I don't remember much," He said, "But I do remember she was a serious person. She said one of us had to be the responsible one." He grinned, "And I worked a lot because she liked to stay home and decorate around the house and watch after you. She loved to dance and shop, she was very girly, but always reday for a challenge. And I remember neither of us expected to fall in love and have a family so early in our lives."

Anneleises smile dissapeard slightly. She would never experiance love and she had worked that out by now. Ludo had sneaked down the stairs and crawled into her lap while they were talking, she placed her hand lightly on the kitten feeling his fur between her fingers. "Do you.." she went silent for a second, a long pause before she finished off the sentence. She sighed deeply thinking to herself, her eyes narrowed to the ground. She bit her lip somewhat nervously. "You miss her?" she asked quietly glancing to the side watching him with her daggers. She pushed her back up against the sofa getting slightly more comfy.
She was starting to relax in this life yet this was only the beginning. Anneliese even knew herself that things could get alittle more difficult as time goes by.

"Yes, but I'm glad to at least have you, besides, I sometimes wish you didn't share this life, it's a hard one. Wherever mom is, I'm sure she is peaceful and happy." Poison grabbed a little stone that he sharpened things on and started rubbing the blade against it, sharping it up. He saw Jack get up and leave, probably so he would be alert tomorrow. "You can get some rest if you want." he said quietly.

Knowing she was still tired, She agreed to going to sleep. She pushed herself off the sofa, leaving the belt behind on the seat. Looking to her father a second, she leaned over giving him a kiss on the cheek. Turning away she continused to walk to the stair case her heels clicking against the floor. The kitten dashed towards the front door before Anneliese went any further up the stairs, she glanced at the kitten. Knowing what he wanted, she walked over to the front door letting him out. He ran into the darkness out of her sight but she knew he would be back. she sat down on the front doorstep outside waiting for him to come back so that she could go to bed.
A cold wind blew in the open front door and right into the hallway turning it even more colder than it already was.

Poison watched his daughter let her kitten out and then continued sharpening her daggers. He only had two of them completely sharp by now because he was being careful. He heard his dog start barking upstairs and wondered what was wrong. He saw Ludo come running back in the front door and he ran to Anneliese's side and closed the front door once the kitten was safely inside. The he went up to Anneliese's room and closed the window and checked to make sure the rest of the windows were closed. He ran back to Anneliese's side. "Go to bed." He said softly, still looking around the house.

"why? Whats going on?" She looked somewhat panicy. Taking the kitten by its scruff gently she placed him in her arms. she looked down at the kitten, he looked scared. His tail flicked from side to side angrily and the baby fur on his back stood on its ends. He dug in his claws hard from the anger and tension and frightness he felt. Something didnt sense right. Ann looked to her father, she knew full well he had already checked her room but it was the fact that Jack was growling beneath his breath. Silence filled the room apart from the low husky growl from Jack. It was deadly silent and still. The front door swung back open from the wind and because of the bad weather all the lights in the house went out. It was pitch black. Good thing vampires eyes were used to the dark and were able to adjust. Ann had to focus alittle harder though, her blood lust was becomming increasingly painful, it was causing her some pain herself. Though vampires couldn't technically feel pain because their body was dead, they still needed to feed and being unable to feed caused Anneliese some pain to her body. Almost like a stabbing pain. She scrinched her eyes alittle and opend them peering back into the dark ignoring the pain and blood lust feeling she was having at the moment.

Poison quickly shut the door again and locked it so it would stay in place, he spent enough money on the house that it couldn't get broken up by anything. Then he ran full speed to the basement to turn on the back up power relighting the house. "Werewovles don't usually travel alone." He replied to Anneliese, "They will be gone in the morning though so just please go to sleep." Poison knew that werewolves couldn't transform during daylight and so they wouldn't hunt him again. His house could hold them off the rest of the night. Poison gently nudged Jack who then stopped growling and sat on the couch. Poison also returned to the couch and continued sharpeneing the daggers letting out a sigh of both relief and stress.
