The sun had sank into the hills and the sky was black. There were not even any stars. This was a bad sign. Aubrey and Shaden had been hiding here for three days now, every night had been like this. It was an omen from The Ancients. Aubrey would have to leave tonight. She couldn't fight Xavier off any longer.
Xavier had been calling to her since the night her and Shaden had first left. Jean-Claude and his people, her family, had been helping her to fight him. It was getting to be too much. She just hoped that she hadn't let any information to him slip.
Aubrey leaned against the cool glass panel of the window, looking out to the busy streets below her. They were in a loft above Jean-Claudes pub. hidden below the pub was the fortress for his coven, their home. It had once been her home.
Shaden was leaned against her body. They had not been apart since their arrival. She wanted every second she could have with him. She pressed closer into him. Absorbing his scent. Jean-Claude sat at an immaculate desk in the corner of the room. His soft black curls hung down past his shoulders. His silver-blue eyes missing nothing as he watched them.
Jean-Claude would probably be the poster boy for screaming girls all over the world. If people knew about vampires, that is. He was beautiful. Too beautiful. Asher and Alexander lounged in chairs on either sides of him. Alexander was his second. He was tall and his auburn hair was uncontrollable and shaggy. He had bright emerald green eyes and a boyish face. He could make you melt with one look.
The way he was looking at them now was not so impish. He glared in their direction, but still tried to maintain his cool expression. Asher however was beaming at them. His hair was a golden blonde and his eyes were pale blue. Aubrey used to tease him. She told him that he was were Hitler's fascination had stemmed from. She had once loved his booming laugh.
There had not been much laughter this trip.
"Come away from the window Mon Petite, your worry will only deepen." Jean-Claudes voice flowed through the room like water. Soft, smooth and comforting. Aubrey pulled Shaden to a blood red couch and curled up to him as he at down. "You should enjoy your last night here. We will keep your love safe. I wish you would allow someone to escort you home."
Alexander sat a little straighter in is chair. If anyone went back to London with her, his every intention would be for it to be himself. Alexander and Aubrey had been close. They were never lovers, or even in love with one another. But they had shared the soft intimacy of being best friends. He had not wanted her to leave New Orleans, now she was here. She was a vampire, and she belonged to Xavier and his Black Nail Coven.
"No one can come back with me. Xavier cannot know I was here. He would come for Shaden." Aubrey rubbed her forehead against Shadens chin. Jean-Claude sighed, but smiled at her. He looked at Shaden. "Very well mom petite, but can we at least celebrate tonight? Can we not try to enjoy your last night here? It has been long since you have been home, the coven will want to share this night with you."
He watched Shaden carefully. If Aubrey loved him, then he would fight to protect him as his own. The coven needed a night to be with them in a more upbeat tone. "Would you not like to spend our last night with our Aubrey happy, my friend? I fear that it might be long before we can all celebrate being together again."
[[Anyone is more than welcome to join this thread-I warn you though, it is involved and well planned out[[props for Xavier]] but if you wanna kick a little vampire booty then by all means, please join! :3 HEY::: Brownie points for you if you are on my side! lol!]]

Clip, Clap, Clip, Clap, Clip, Clap
The sounds of Xavier's and Jacob's boots casted slick sounds of cadence and discipline. Xavier had been waiting for Aubrey to return, not only that, he was asking her. It seemed that she was too busy having 'fun' with her new found friend. Despite her efforts to hide, Xavier always knew where she was, he created her. It was as if a mental tracker was implanted into her brain and his senses read it fluently. At this point in time, Xavier was mad, Not just mad, Pissed. Her name had been ringing in his head the entire time she had left him. Right behind her name was that sly, ugly face. Shaden. He had been the reason why Aubrey had left Xavier in the first place.
However, he wouldn't be that much of an issue. Xavier's new found prodigy, Jacob, Had become incredibly strong, incredibly fast. Not only has he had respect and loyalty for the coven, but he has learned everything Aubrey had 10 fold with limited torture methods. He was indeed a perfect addition for the Second Generation. Both of the Black Nail vampires power shimmered within the realms of the supernatural. You could almost feel the density of the immense strength sparking inbetween the two. There was no need to rush, no need to worry. Xavier would arrive at the destination soon, and there would be hell to play.
Both had fed before the arrival, Both were completely energized and ready to fight, Jean Claude's entire Coven probably would do less than make a scratch on the two due to their incredible amounts of surplus energy. Xavier knew exactly how it would work, He would kick down the door, Guns blazing. Xavier would most likely kill anyone he hadn't known previously within the first 30 seconds and the rest of the night would be divided between Jean Claude, Shaden and Aubrey. Oh this night was going to be fun. Most likely, they were already noticed. The power was too great to go unheard. They were nearing closer and closer, it was almost time. Xavier opened his mouth and curled his lips into a smile before his voice echoed to where all Vampires in the City could hear him.
Come out , Come Out..Wherever you are.

Since his initiation into the black nail coven, Jacob's thirst for blood was enhanced greatly, as if the scent of human blood was sprinkled with seasoning. Before this he hadn't since been able to control his thirst. Before he had moderate regulations towards his hunt for humans, but he found himself acting on pure instinct now. Seeing as Xavier Alex and the Black coven were able to resurrect Destiny, he no longer hunted humans for blood, but for the thrill and sheer pleasure of it, and the rewards he'd successfully reap upon their death. And with that came a power he had never experienced before. A new level of power he had been granted courtesy of the Black Nail. Though Xavier's training methods bordered and sick, nearly sadistic, it was worth it, for the results could only be compared to that of the Gods.
He walked alongside Xavier. Though Jacob was completely oblivious to the history behind Xavier and this woman, Aubrey, though he knew there was danger at their destination, all Jacob needed to know was that these people had been against the Black Nail coven for him to view these vampires as enemies. Besides, he wouldn't dare turn down the prospect of testing his newfound powers to their fullest extent. Sparring with Xavier and the initial challenge of finding humans to feed off of was sufficient, but the excitement and vitality he found with these activities started to fade. They weren't testing the limits of his power. He wasn't challenging other vampires in bouts to the death, but that would change in only a few moments. And then they stopped, Xavier's words calling their foes out. Needless to say Jacob was curious to view his opponents, adversaries of the black nail. Xavier viewed these people as insignificant threats that wouldn't leave a dent on their bodies, but Jacob hoped it wasn't true. He needed a challenge to test his augmented skills, to he needed to feel that thrill of battle and victory. And so he waited patiently for these people to show themselves, his blood coursing with anxiousness, his eyes brimming with passion.
"I can't wait."

Shaden understood the way in which Jean-Claude watched him so carefully. He was a outsider, and even if he was in love with Aubrey, it was hard to trust someone you hardly know. Shaden was thankful for the protection, though he was only here because of Aubrey. But he couldn't get himself to say much of anything. Every time he opened his mouth to speak his voice would get stuck in his throat.
He knew he was putting them in danger. Xavier wanted him dead, and he didn't think anyone was likely to stop him from killing him. To him, it was almost hopeless. But for Aubrey he kept these feeling hidden and continued to look at her with love. He wrapped one arm around her, keeping her close to him. Never wanting to let go.
When Jean-Claude spoke once more, this time his words more turned toward him, he looked away from her and to face him. As much as he would like to celebrate he feared there was no time for it. He could feel Xavier coming closer, and closer still. It would not be long now.
Then he stood as he heard Xavier's loud call. Damn that man. He looked out the window for awhile before saying anything, "He's here," He said softly, "Xavier has come at last." He sighed and went back to Aubrey. Lightly helping her off the couch so he could hold her one last time. He let go of her slowly and walked over to the window. This could very well be his last night.
Shaden smiled and then couldn't help but laugh a little, though it was more in frustration then anything. "Okay Xavier. Lets have some fun." He whispered to himself, although it was still loud enough everyone in the room could hear him.

Alexander jumped up first. He had always been too eager for a fight. They had beaten The Black Nail Coven once before, what would keep them from winning tonight? Alex walked up to Shaden and grinned, flashing his fangs. Alex turned and grinned at the rest of the room as he slid open the window. "Well, we were invited out to play." he winked at Aubrey as he slipped out and jumped down to the streets below.
Asher laughed at Alexander. He shook his head and walked to follow. He pointed his finger at Aubrey. "Stay here Brey. You'll only make things worse for yourself. He might want to fight all of us, but he is really here for you." He kissed her cheek and then patted Shaden's back. "Lets go welcome them to our city." He followed Alexander's lead and slid from the window.
Jean rose slowly from behind his desk. He moved slowly toward the window. He nodded to her. "You should stay up here Mon Petite. I would not allow him access to you so easily." He laughed. "I know that you won't stay up here long, but just try to restrain yourself. We need you safe." He nodded to Shaden and then disappeared out the window.
Aubrey walked to Shaden and held him. She did not like being told to stay while the people she loved fought. She brushed her lips against his arm. "Would you ask me to stay up here as well?" She didn't look up at him. Her gaze stayed locked on the streets. She could feel Xaviers anger and it frightened her.

Xavier watched as the two Vampires from Jean Claude's coven jumped down to the street below. His dead, pale, blue eyes glared at Shaden who was standing in the Window above. He didn't want him to come down yet, he wanted to how him what it would be like once he came down, these two amateurs were just appetizers before the main course. Xavier slowly walked forward, two old-fashioned switch blades in hands. He figured that he should make it fun for the first few minutes on these No Name idiots.
Jean Claude's Coven had defeated The Black Nail Coven once before for a special reason only. Xavier wasn't there. The First Generation of BNC's were most likely hesitant at showing no mercy in combat. Not tonight. Xavier and his new found Prodigy were well enough to handle the Head of the Coven alone. They had been stronger, faster, smarter and more ruthless than the previous Generation. However, Xavier still held some of the old traditions.
Xavier flourished the two blades fluently and smirked at his Opponents. The reflection from the moonlight, casted off the blade causing a shimmering effect in his Black Nails and he waiting desperately for one of them to attack, It would be a warm up for when Shaden or Jean Claude himself came down. Xavier didn't want all the fun for himself though, he wanted his loyal partner, Jacob, to get in on the action as well.
You deal with Bed-Head, i'll take Blondie.

Massimo wasn't sure what he was going to do, when he found them but he wasn't thinking about that. Right now he felt like shit and he was about to step in the middle of a fight. But this was about Shaden. Massimo couldn't stand aside and watch him get killed. It wasn't happening, not if he could help it.
Tonight his attire was simple. He wore all black, and his hair brushed back and wind blown from running. He had only learned of where Shaden was a short time ago. And he would be lucky if he made it in time to save Shaden.
He could feel Xavier some where close, and his newest member of his coven. And for some reason Massimo had brought Troy along with him, he wasn't sure what the human could or would do but he didn't care much about that at the moment.
Finally he saw Xavier and the other vampires, they hadn't started fighting yet. He walked toward him and stopped a few feet away from him, "Xavier, I can't stand by and watch you kill Shaden." He said loudly, "I may respect your coven but I won't allow you to kill him." He stood there boldly and unafraid in the least by what he was doing.

Shaden smiled and nodded at each of them as they slipped out the window. He couldn't give a damn what Xavier wanted, he wasn't about to stay up here and watch them get hurt. He turned away from the window and looked at Aubrey. Shaden could help but smirk as he gently lifted her face to look at him and he placed a soft kiss on her lips. "I'd tell you to stay here but something tells me you wouldn't listen." And with that he let go of her and then he too slipped silently out the window, landing easily.
Thats when he saw Massimo walking toward Xavier, and he sighed. That vampire was getting on his last nerve. But Shaden would let Max get in the way. Not this time. He didn't need his help, if Shaden was going to die tonight then he would die fighting. Not trying to leave safely with Massimo.
Plus on top of that Max had dragged Troy here as well, yeah this was the perfect spot for a human. Shaden forced his attention back to Xavier, and he smiled at him. Then took out his own blades.

Jean Claude emmerge from the shadows. His face was calm as he outstretched his arms. "It seems you have wandered into my territory with hostile intentions friend, i am afraid that I cannot allow that." His silver blue eyes rested on Xavier. "We should discuss this like leaders and respectful coven masters. It is immature and childish to start this fight here." Jean Claude sighed. He recognized the pain in Xaviers eyes. It was hidden under hatred, but it was there. "You didn't loose her because of him. She was raised around intimacy and caring, not sadistic brutality. You could never have broke her of that. I think that it is time you let her go and leave."
Asher stepped forward. "I don't know Jean. He invited us to hang out. We should humor him for a bit." He winked at Xavier."Me and Alex want to dance." Alex stepped up and blew a kiss to Jacob. Jean-Claude stepped to the side and lanced over at the newest addition to their gathering. He had brought a human. Jean was guessing that this was the one that couldn't keep his mouth shut about Aubrey and Shaden.
"You should go upstairs young man. Aubrey will be most anxious to see you." His words were soft but firm. Troy would distract Aubrey from coming down. She had allowed him to run back to Massimo once, he doubted that she would kill him now. Besides, it looked as if he was going to fight against the two Black Nail members. Jean-Claude did not want this fight to happen. These two members were more powerful than the first.
"If you must fight, then by all means my friends do not let me stop you. But I wonder, what is it that you hope to gain by this? Aubrey was already going back to you. Do you honestly think that she could ever learn to be loyal to someone like you? You see where her loyalties fall."
Aubrey watched Shaden slip out the window. Her heart felt heavy. She didn't want him to go, she wanted him to stay with her. She traced her lips with her fingers "I love you, Shaden." Her eyes brimmed with tears. She wouldn't cry in front of anyone. She quickly walked out of the room. She climbed the stairs to the roof.
She walked out as far as she could. She had a good view of everyone. The people that she cared for the most was all there. She sighed. She wanted Xavier to see her. She hated him in this moment. It seeped from her pores as she cried. She would kill him if he hurt them, she would kill him or die trying.

Yeah?
Xavier mocked everyone, barely paying attention to what any f them had to say, he was there to fight, kill and get out with the most blood and pain possible. He grinned at the thought, Blood, Pain, Agony. It was a triple stacking emotion of bliss in Xavier's eyes.
No time for talk...
Xavier flipped his blades around swiftly and lept into action, ignoring his own personal safety. The blades slipped across the face of Asher and he cunningly whipped his arm around, slicing away at the Jugular of Alex. Without hesitation, he threw the blade in perfected accuracy directly for Shaden's chest and ran towards him, ripping it out and slashing at his stomach, bouncing away once more.
His balance was phenomenal, his strikes were beautifully precise and powerful. His eyes then looked toward Massimo. He was so loyal and respectful toward the coven, yet he comes and fights for his chew toy, it was a shame. However, his respect paid off in the sense that Xavier would attack him unless he attacked first. He licked the blood off of the blade, looking up evilly at Aubrey with a sadistic shine to his eyes.

Shaden looked at the dark blood coming out of his wounds. It almost seemed to be too dark even to be called blood, more like black ink. He never once stopped smiling. "Have it your way." He whispered, and then held on to his blade tightly. "To the death then."
Shaden ran toward him, past Asher and Alex, for the moment he ran slower, so Xavier could still see him. He mine as well have some fun first, right? In another swift motion, right before he was in front of Xavier, he pulled out yet another blade and sliced it across his chest. Then stabbed him in his side with the other blade.
He jumped back, licked both his blades clean and then put on of them away. He crouched down some, ready for the next attack. A mocking smile still on his lips. Oh how he wanted to open his mouth to mock him. And he could to. He could say so many things, but it would only lead to a quicker death so he kept his mouth closed and continued to smile.
He didn't even risk a glance at anyone else, his blue eyes stayed locked on Xavier. One way or another this would end tonight. He could feel it.

Massimo stood there for a few minutes watching and then shook his head. He was insane. Without glancing at anyone else he calming walked past everyone. He smiled what would seem politely to Xavier as he walked past. But Shaden would know better. He would know it meant that Massimo was up to something. He dragged Troy along with him to get the human away from the fight.
Max walked straight into the building where Aubrey was and made his way up there to Aubrey. He went and stood beside her and watched the vampire below them. It all looked rather amusing from this point. "I'm sorry Aubrey." He said at last and then grabbed a hold of her. Massimo pulled out a dagger and stabbed her in the chest before pushing her toward the edge of the roof.

Xavier stood, stiff as a board as Shaden attacked. As previously demonstrated, his resistance to pain was phenomenal when it reality, the pain was excruciating to say the least. As Shaden jumped back, Xavier had already been on the move before his feet even touched the ground. As his body rammed into Shaden's, he gripped the switchblade tightly in his hand, ramming it deep into his lower gut and twistied the blade viscously, twisting the soft skin around it. Xavier ripped the balde from his gut and delivered a sharp elbow underneath Shaden's eye enough to cause him to stumble back several feet.
Suddenly, Xavier smelled the Scent of Aubrey's blood, something he had gotten familiar with over the weeks of her training. however, he was so in-depth with the task at hand, he let it go by Unnoticed. Without hesitation, Xavier boomed back into action. As he charged toward Asher, he delivered a stunning swipe with his claws, Which Xavier ducked under and countered with a heavy stab to the UnderArm, and another stab to the base of the neck with the other blade. He swept his foot underneath Asher, causing him to collapse to the ground as he brought the blade deep into his heart.
In a back-flip like motion, he kicked Asher's head to the side enough to snap the neck and landed in front of Alex and he Rammed the blade behind him as soon as his feet hit the pavement. xavier felt the blade slide deep into his stomach, as he spun around stretching the wound open across the entire diameter of his gut.
Can someone please put up a fight? I'm getting quite agitated now. I came thinking i was going to have fun, all i'm having now is blood staining my outfit.

Aubrey had to look away. Xavier's look frightened her. Massimo was suddenly there beside her. It had confused her but she had no time to think.
There was a dagger in her chest. The pained welled up inside of her. With one hand she grabbed Massimo's collar. With the other she pulled the dagger from her chest. Her own blood dripped down her body. She staggered backward dragging Massimo with her.
She crashed into the street. She felt Massimo land near her, but she couldn't breath, she couldn't move. She rolled over coughing out blood. She growled when she spotted him. She would have crawled to him, but Jean Claude was there first.
Jean-Claude picked Massimo up by his neck. He bared his fangs in his face. "She is not apart of this." He threw Massimo into a wall of a neighboring building. He stalked over to him and picked him off of the street where he had landed. He held him against the wall, his hands gripping his throat tightly. "Touch her again and I will rip out your heart and eat it." Asher and Alx were both taken back from the attack. Asher recovered quickly and lunged at Jacob, Shaden could handle Xavier. He slammed him into the ground. He began pounding his face. Alex staggered back, his hand gripping his gapping throat wound. He struggled to get to Aurey, collapsing infront of her.
Aubrey gathered him into her lap. She torn her shirt off and wrapped it around his neck and then his stomach. She took his knife and glared at Xavier. She wasn't thinking. She was suddenly infront of Xavier. She back handed him and as he stumbled back she dug the knife deep into his throat.
The force made him fall back. She grabbed his head and slammed it onto the pavement over and over again. She screamed. "You'll kill him, you bastard." Alex had been her best friend. She jerked the knife out and then thrusted it into his stomach. She twisted it. She left te knife embedded into him and starting slashing at his face.

A smirk painted Jacob's lips when a vampire, Asher, charged towards him at full speed. The suspense amplified his excitement ten fold and he watched with clenched fists as Asher made his way through the air like an acrobat, diving towards Jacob. Before Asher reached Jacob's proximity, he opened his hand and sent his back-hand colliding with Asher's face, sending the vampire onto the ground with such force a crack managed to streak across the floor in which Asher's body had laid. Needless to say, Asher's bones were harder than Jacob anticipated, leaving a mark and nagging ache in his knuckles.
Still, that pain numbed as he saw Asher making his way up, and Jacob basking in the solace of his newfound strength. The young vampire wasted no time now. He lifted his legs up and sprinted toward Asher, the wind crashing against his face as if pushing him back, trying to prevent the hell he would unleash on his adversary. But not even mother nature had the ability to halt Jacob. The young vampire cocked his fist back and launched it, targeted at Asher's jaw. The shot caused Asher to fall once again on the ground, a crack echoing through the wind, Jacob hoping that he didn't break a bone in Asher's body so he could continue this slaughter.
As Asher slid across the ground, Jacob turned to Xavier and saw that his stomach had been plunged with a knife. Xavier, though, actually seemed more annoyed than angered. As if being stabbed with it had been equivalent to being pricked with a tooth pick. Still, Jacob had to clarify.
"You alright?"
