Anna looked away from the knife and at the man's face. "No, but I've sure as hell taken a severe beating before.
she said, remebering past relationships.

Her eyes became more feirce. "Whatever you are going to do to me, get it over with or leave me!" she hissed.

Wednesday walked over to them.
"Vladimir, leave her alone... She hasn't done anything"
She then turned to the girl "Don't tell me where I can be and where I can't! I could kill you faster than you can blink! I might look young but you have no reason to judge me! And I am not just a teen.. Trust me, I'm not.." She said with alot of anger in her voice.
Most people wouldn't even had started to talk her but those who did soon regret it.

"I'm not going to hurt her, at least not until i have a reason."Vladimir said and smiled as he added "you do have a very good point though, she shouldn't tell other people where they belong."

She smiled at Vladimir "Exactly"
She then turned to the girl again "but what are a no good mortal like you doing here?" She asked and looked the girl straight into her eyes.

Anna stared back, and then sighed. "I told you, I'm practicing..." she said, and looked away from the girl.

"What do you want?" She started become annoyed and angry. "I need to get back to listening..."

She had no more fear left in her face, for her becoming annoyed with the two keeping her there.

"I don't want anything...And there is not reason to get angry" Wednesday said with a soft voice. "I'm just here.. I have done anything wrong......yet" she then added.

She looked at Vladimir "but I have no idea why you are here..? "

Anna looked at the girl and then the male. She also wondered why he was there. Was he looking for a dead loved one? Or just merely someone to harrass. She certantley was not ammused. Anna was also here to keep watch over her dead loved one. Her mother.

"Yes, why are you here?" she asked, crossing her arms and sitting down on a headstone.

Vladimir looked at them and asked " is it odd to find a vampire in a graveyard?" he then added "but if you must know i do have a old friend buried here and i come here from time to time to take care of his grave, it is hundreds of years old but looks almost brand new because i take care of it"

His friend had given his life to save a village of people, and even though Vladimir was there he could not stop his friend from dieing, this was the one event in Vladimir's life that he regretted.

He had been cold and evil ever since that day, he had decide that it would be better to have a heart of stone then to be hurt by the deaths around him.

Anna shuddered. "Vampire?" She did not recall them saying that word.

She did find vampires quite alluring, and she had wished to become one when she was younger to be free of what she was now. She looked at her feet and sighed. "It must be wonderful... having that kind of power..." she said, and tossed her hir aside her face, still looking at the ground.

Vladimir said" is it truly such a good thing? seeing every one you know die and you live on, to do nothing but to let it happen again. This bothers most vampires but i myself have learned not to connect to people. I've learned that as long as you care about other people pain will effect you and their death will leave you broken."

Anna shook her head slowley. "Yes, but having that kind of power must have advantages." she sighed. "When I was younger and on the streets, I wished to become one. But I didn't know they where real. Knowing that they are... makes it a little terrifying... yet, so much better."

She pulled the sleeves of her sweater down over her wrists, and stared at the ground, abscently biting her lip. 'I wonder what is going to happen tonight...' she wondered. 'he might try to kill me or not, or he might just leave... psyco people...'

Wednesday laughed a cynical laugh.
"I have had enough of this little talk so now I'll leave you to it" She said and turned around and ran in the oppsite direction.

She always started to fell uncomfortable whenever somebody started talking about wanting to be a vampire. She always felt like they were trying to force her to turn them.

Anna watched the girl runaway, and she looked up at the man. "Your name escapes me..." she said, and sat on the ground with her knees to her chest. "You're a mean one aren't you?" she asked, almost to curious of the man before her. She was a bit scared, but not much to really frighten her, and she was almost comfortable in the spot she was in.

"I'm not mean per say, just cold to people i don't know. after you lived as long as i have it almost seems natural to be cold." Vladimir answer and then added "it can better be explained by, the fact that someone becomes cold means that someone becomes both closer to death and life"
