Angelique had been watching the two for a while now, ever since they entered the forest. She could smell them, the freshly smell of a vampire just born. She kept hidden, something she had become pretty good at through the ages. When she saw them her lip curled in disgust. Perversion, was what she thought. She was old school vampire, if you could call it that, and turning a child wasn't something that would win your grace with her.
She knew that the older one was a good one, she could smell it. Personally, Angelique had no problems with hunting humans, it was a part of her natural life. She was very select with the humans though and preferred bad men, how the strong men would go limp in her arms and the sweet taste of blood filling her.
Finally she decided she wanted to have some fun, it was a long time since she had interacted with a fellow vampire. She smirked as she jumped out of her hiding place and landing a few meters behind them. She let her scent travel to them and let a small gust of wind travel their way.
"My my, what do we have here?" She said in a very dangerously sweet voice.

Ali had felt a little odd as she had dropped down from the tree. She hadnt mentioned it and she figured she was just paranoid. But her fears came true when she caught the scent of another vampire very close by. In fact, she showed herself and Ali cursed herself for being so foolish. She needed to get her alert senses back into gear. And fast. Especially if there was going to be a war. She couldnt afford to have dulled senses.
She turned slightly and glanced over her shoulder. She looked at the new arrival and held back a growl. She wasnt sure if this vampire was good or evil. She had said her intentions. But by the way of her voice she figured that she wasnt being kind at all. But Ali put on a fake smile as well. She stood in front of Lee Roy protectivly. She wasnt going to let him get hurt.
"Hello. What brings you here stranger?" She asked in her kind voice. But there was that little hint of suspicion in her voice and protective anger. She continued to hold down a growl. She didnt know if she was friend or foe. But she hoped it wasnt an enemy in the making. She didnt need any more enemies.

Lee smelled the new vampire as she showed her self to them. She sounded at little bit scary to him. Lee could smell a little bit of human blood on her. He knew that she drank from humans. He didn’t know that if good vampires or if only bad vampires drank from humans. He was still a little scared of her. Then he saw how Ali stood in front of him as she approached. He hid behind her legs.

"I don't see how that is any of your business."
Angelique answered the girl, it was obvious she was younger than Angelique. Well, there weren't many vampires who could beat Angelique in age, she was practically an elder, with over 800 years under her belt, so to speak. She had never actually turned anyone herself, she preferred it that way, after what her master had done to her, she couldn't do that to anyone else. She just killed them. She killed humans and vampires alike, not agreeing with how most vampires today lived.
She took a few step closer, her motions so fluid that it seemed she was walking on air. It was a long time since she had talked to someone, now she was going to make the best out of it.
"He will hate you as his mind grows older and his body doesn't, you know." She kept eye contact with the unknown woman. "He will hate what you have done to him." She got closer and closer by the second. Her eyes shifting to the little boy and she couldn't help it, the disgust was evident in her eyes. Perversion... She thought again.
"Did you want to be an almighty vampire, little boy?" She asked him as she crouched down to be at the same height as him, she was just a few feet away from the two now.

Ali could care less now. She growled and the threat was evident. She didnt want this woman anywhere near Lee. She didnt care what he would think about her as he grew older and still looked ten. She swallowed though. She hated this woman already and as she got closer her growl grew louder she pushed Lee further back. "Stay away from him. This has nothing to do with him. Your disgusted with me. Leave him out of it." She said between clenched teeth.
She balled her fists and then said, "And I know. I know that all right. You dont have to tell me. Im an idiot and Ill admit that. But I couldnt help it. He was being abused by his foster father and would have eventually been killed. This poor boy had no love in his life and when I killed the dad he knew what I was. He asked me to change him. I couldnt resist the blue eyes..." She told the other vampire. Why she told her she couldnt tell.
But her guess was that she wanted to protect herself and Lee. She didnt want him hurt for her own mistakes and this vampire didnt have to point out faults when she looked at Lee she saw her mistake. She had doomed him and if she would of still had a heart that could beat it would have ached.

Lee felt some anger from what Angelique said to them both. I mean who did she think she was coming in a talking that way to Ali and himself. He bared his teeth. And when he was pushed back by Ali he knew that she was a bad vampire. He hopped that she wouldn’t hurt Ali at all or him for that matter. “I don’t care if I don’t grow up. I wish to enjoy being a kid for as long as I live. Jim was always complaining how it sucked to be a adult. And you have no right to be mean to Ali.” He said to Angelique, still behind Ali.

Angelique laughed, it was a dark laughter, but she honestly was really amused by what they were saying. For the first, the kid had no idea what he was saying, he wasn't old enough to understand. She thought the other one was interesting though, and she got curious as to what she was thinking. Who would knowingly but themselves through such pain. There was a reason why Angelique had never turned anyone, she had been left as a fledgling herself and didn't want anyone else to feel how she felt. She reached out and stroke the kids cheek in a swift movement. "Don't be scared, I've had my fill of throats for the night. I won't hurt you." She grinned. She didn't like the whole kid vampire thing at all, but she did feel sorry for the future of the kid, how he would suffer forever because of it. Retrieving her hand she pushed herself off the ground and turned to face the woman. "So, you are going to sacrifice yourself for a fledgling? How very brave." She was mainly just playing with her now, bating her. At least she wasn't acting threatening towards her, because making Angelique angry wasn't a good thing. She was an elder vampire after all. [Sorry it took me so long. I've been caught up at work, trying to train up one of the new kids, so I haven't had the most time on my hands. But, I promise to be better from now on  ] |

Ali bit back another growl. She really didnt want trouble. But it seemed to always find her. And she just wished it would find some other victim and leave her alone. But that wasnt going to happen so she just did what she did best. She tried to stay calm and not show her emotions. She was rather good at that.
Her dark brown eyes seemed blank and held no anger or fear or anything else. They just looked at the women coldly. She sighed slightly and said, "I would die for him yes. But as long as I am alive Ill protect him. And Im sure you wont be the only one disgusted with me. But at least I havent abandoned him. When I was changed I was left to fend on my own." She told her. Her voice even and cool.
She glanced back at Lee and sighed and then looked at Angelique once more. She didnt want a fight and she would do anything to avoid one. But so far the odds werent looking very good for her. She ran her fingers through her hair and said, "I dont want a fight. Maybe we can start over on a happier note. Im Ali Shadings."

Lee didn’t really like the fact that Angelique was laughing at what they where saying. He also didn’t like how she was stroking his cheek. He only liked it when good vampires did that to him. He did smile he just went back behind Ali legs. He didn’t really like this lady at all. He looked at Ali. She was being nice and trying to start a small friendship with her. Well this was a weird way for him to meet his first vampire. He just watched them as they talked.

"You're not alone, Ms Shadings." Angelique mumbled as she turned her back to the two, she didn't want to show the look she had in her eyes. She always got that look when she thought about her master, who she didn't know if lived still or not. Turning back, she turned emotionless again. "I met him once, he saved me from the Black Death, then he was gone." She didn't even realize that she had given out a big secret about herself, before after she had said the words. The Black Death had died out about 800 years ago, so she had just revealed exactly how old she at least had to be.
She cursed herself. She had never told anyone about her past before. Trying to get the attention away from what she said before, she started to talk again. "Angelique. Born and died in the capital of France." She said with an elegant bow and a teasing smile.
"You both think of me as a bad vampire?" She suddenly asked. "The truth is that I'm not bad, neither am I good. I go my own way and follow my own rules. The fight between good and evil have nothing to do with me," Oh yes, Angie had a habit of having violent mood changes. She had lived for over 800 years, it was obvious that she had to be a little crazy.
