Katra growled silently to herself as she sat in the airport. Her plane was delayed and she was starting to get pissed off. It wouldnt be here for another three hours. She could do a lot in three hours and so she got up from the hard seats at her terminal and stalked her way back to the entance of the airport.
It didnt take her long with her long strides but she groaned slightly as she realized she had caught a taxi here and she hadnt expected a delayed flight so it was long gone. She rubbed her eyes and muttered under her breath. "This cant be happening." She shook her head and looked around for anyway that she could get out of here.
It was true that she could find somwhere secluded and then change and run where ever she wanted to go but she didnt want to take the chance of being seen. And anyway, where would she put her clothes? She couldnt stay a wolf and she couldnt carry it with her. No, she was stuck without a ride.

Like the first heralding of an oncoming apocalypse, the soft roar in the distance began to grow... Was it a storm? Was it a stampede? Perhaps it was all these things, if they had a set of wheels.
"Move, move... Move!"
Tearing through the crowded lines, the london cab didn't even stop when it came to the pedestrian crossing, leaving a trail of chaos in its wake. Including an impressive pile up of people that were too scared to move forward or back, and ended up falling into each other in a little heap.
"And maybe if ya stopped gnashing your gums all day, you'd watch the road!" he yelled out from the window at a cussing old lady he barely missed, grumbling the rest of his words as he spotted the taxi queue, "Bloody daft old bint, shoulda just stayed in her rocking chair where she belongs..."
Loud horning from protesting cars and vans gave him an entrance far more grand than the Queen herself, and he screeched to a halt just in front of the damsel in distress. Leaning out the window, he tipped his cap up and gave his trademark grin and eyebrow waggle.
"Goin my way darling?"

((HAHA))
Katra had her eyes closed and was grumbling to herself on what she could do when she heard a rumble and a few thoughts went through her mind. She recognized that rumble and she was a little startled it was coming this way. And she hoped beyong hope that it wasnt true. It couldnt be him. Could it?
And as if the heavens wanted to torture her, sure enough. It was Caleb. She didnt really know him since he was newer to the pack but she knew him none the less. And she knew he was a trouble maker. He lived for trouble. But then again he could always make a smile appear on her face. And today was no different.
He made hiw way through the humans and cause complete and total chaos. But it made her hold in a laugh and she put her hand over her mouth as he almost ran over an older lady. Which that wasnt exactly funny but the way he grumbled about it was hilarious.
Then before she could blink he was in front of her and doing his normal routine of a grin and eyebrow waggle. She rolled her eyes and smiled at him though and then leaned over the window sill of the passenger window and ssaid, "Hey Caleb. Think ya can fit in a ride somewhere for your dear old pal Katra?"

"Hey Caleb. Think ya can fit in a ride somewhere for your dear old pal Katra?"
He bit down on his bottom lip and grinned even more. "Flash me your tits and I might even let you ride for free." Then tossed his head back to laugh loudly, shaking his head at his own corny lines while reaching back to open the car door for her. "I'm just yankin your crank, hop in Princess."
To him, Katra was not just part pack, but part family as well. Something he was slowly getting used to after years of being alone. His wolf seemed to accept the new changes far more quickly than expected, but it wasn't so much of a bother. He had shelter, something like a home and something that was vaguely family-shaped. Yup, what more could a wolf ask for?
Bringing a hand to his mouth ,he made buzzing noises and spoke directly into his palm to give his voice the same muffled effect of an old speaker-phone.
"Ten four, ten four... Ladies and gentleworms welcome aboard the Caleb-express, this is your captain speaking and we're heading for..." he paused and looked back to his passenger with a smirk, " Where would the lovely lady like to go hmn?"

Katra rolled her eyes at his corny line and she got in after he told her to. She knew he loved making up those lines and most peeople got mad at him for it. Or he got in trouble. Which is why he was known as the trouble maker of the pack. Even worse then James. But Caleb was a playful trouble maker and she always smiled around him.
She knew she had to loosen up a bit but it was hard with the revenge burning through her. So most of the time she stayed away from people to not hurt them. Especially pack members. That was getting a little harder with all the people joining though and she was a little glad to open up.
His buzzing noises made her laugh and she wapped him lightly over the head. It wouldnt hurt at all. It was just a playful gesture of kidding around. And she knew he wouldnt mind. She then smiled at him and said, "Just take me to the market places somewhere. Or where ever you wish to go. I have to come back here in three hours."

The playful swat to his head made him laugh, it was a good sign. While he may not be as old a pack member as Katra, he did notice that she tended to cave into herself at times, one would think she could out brood Patrick himself. To get any reaction from her was good enough and to know that she was responding to his jesting made Caleb feel less guilty about nearly flattening a few people.
"Just take me to the market places somewhere. Or where ever you wish to go. I have to come back here in three hours."
A firm nod of the head and he pulls his cap back down, nearly covering his entire brow. "Know a good one round Mitry-Mory... Got some decent ale and chow too, and it's not to far from 'ere. Hold on to your bits and pieces Kat, it's gonna be quite the ride." A roar of the engine, scream of the wheels and off they shot like a bullet with loud music blaring from the speakers.
"Alle! Alle! Come on ya froggies, move!"
That was the only warning anyone got while Caleb winded the vehicle with all the dexterity of a man who knew his vehicle inside out, unfortunately it wasn't the most road friendly or pedestrian friendly. "Yeah, yeah and a par-leh-voo up yours to you too!" Like a creature zipping from one space to the next, the taxi soon managed to beat the airport jam and flew down the road towards their destination. Lucky for them, the place wasn't all that far from Charles De Gaulle and that meant he wouldn't have to rush (that much) to get her back.
The market place teemed with people, until it all just looked like one big blur of colour and form, lured by the smells of food and the promise of a good bargain. Parking Bessie near one of the alleyways, the engine was turned off and the driver hopped out of his seat so he could open the door for Katra.
"Y'still alive in there Princess?"

Katra chuckled slightly at him and nodded. She figured he would have some place she could go to get some food and sure enough, he knew of a place that wasnt to far off. And as soon as he mentioned she should hold on, she took the warning and held on to the side of the door for dear life. She could feel her nails digging into her palm.
She was glad she had this death grip though as he sped out of the spot he was parked and zoomed around people to get out of the airport area. His exact words were, move froggies, she believed. And that made her chuckle. So slow people were frogs? She made it a point in her mind to make sure that she stayed out of his way when he was in a hurry. Which was...all the time.
She was relieved when they finally pulled out of the airport lot and to the streets of the city. She figured the place was somewhere she had never been and some place Caleb liked may not be the best place but if he said it was good then she would believe him.
Her death grip on the door loosened slightly and she chuckled. She then noticed they had stopped. He opened the door and she laughed at him as she walked out of the cab with herself still in one piece. "Im fine. It takes more then your driving to break me." She said and flicked his nose.

"Im fine. It takes more then your driving to break me."
He yelped at the nose flick, more in surprise than anything and pouted at her while pretending to rub his nose. "Aw, ruin a bloke's fun why don't ya. I must be losin my touch." A hearty laugh and he nudges her with his shoulder before wrapping an arm around her own. "C'mon Princess, lets see what damage we can do tonight aye?"
Just a few steps in and soon they were washed by the bustle of the market, the scents of foodstuffs and people, engine oil and smoke from a hundred cigarettes. Sounds of voices, machinery and music... Caleb grinned and took a deep breath of all that was Paris, near purring at delicious scent that was life. Even if he'd never admit to the purring because everyone knew that wolves , just didn't purr.
Through the throng he led Katra, his eyes just wandering everywhere until he heard a loud bump from an apple cart into another stall, letting a bit of its precious cargo tumble to the ground before moving on unknowingly. Tossing a wide grin at his companion he bent down and snatched one of the succulent red fruit, rubbing it briskly on his sleeve.
"Five second rule..." He chuckled and bit into it, moaning at the tangy sweetness and just basically making a pig of himself. "Mmmmm mmm... Y'want any?" and he offered her the already bitten apple.

Katra laughed silently as he of course acted like his normal self. Lossing his touch? Nah. Never in a million years. She knew he could be charming if he really gave it a try. Which he rarely did but thats what made Caleb so much fun to be around. He could make you laugh in record time and thats what she liked about him. But he could also get you in trouble in speedy time as well. But what werewolf didnt get in trouble every now and then? She needed to loosen up just a bit. She was wound up to tight.
So as he linked his arm with hers and led her into the market place she let herself just have fun and not worry about little things. And with Caleb you had no time to worry at all. You had to watch what he was doing or he would disappear from sight. "Oh trust me. You could make lots of trouble just on your own." She added in an eye roll to show she was joking.
And she had to admit that the food was smelling rather good. She hadnt had any lunch and so the food was especially appealing. But she wouldnt admit that and she could tell Caleb enjoyed the sights and smell as much as she did. But this was life and who didnt like the smells of life when it was thrown at you? At least thats what Katra thought and then Caleb stopped and grabbed an apple from the ground.
She chuckled as he bit into it and stated his five second rule. Then he offered her some and she shook her head. She pat his shoulder with her hand gently and said, "You enjoy." Then she bent down and grabbed one for herself. "I got my own. Dirt dont hurt." She said and took a bite.

"You enjoy. I got my own. Dirt dont hurt."
A loud laugh and he took another bite of his apple while talking with his mouth full. "Youff tew em Kap!" (You tell em Kat) Caleb smirked over apple-stuffed cheeks before swallowing heartily, smacking his lips and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand... which in turn was wiped off on his jeans. Hygiene be damned.
He starts walking again, knowing that Katra will follow, chewing his apple as he took in the market's colourful chaos. For one with heightened senses, it was easy to appreciate what so many have taken for granted, like the smell of freshly roasted meats mingling with smoky scent of burning charcoal, even the textures of things he touched, seemed so much more amplified.
"So, ya gonna tell me whatcha doin at the airport Kat? Where ya flying off to anyway?..." Caleb tended to be out of the loop when it came to the lives of his individual pack members. Mostly because they wanted to be left alone, and despite his loud nature, the wolf knew full well when someone needed their privacy and space. But when given the time of day or night, like the one he was currently sharing with Katra, he didn't think it would hurt to just inquire now and then.
" I know! Y'leaving us all for the Bahamas. With someone tall, dark, handsome and full of dosh!" he teased, waggling his brows at her as he hid his smirk behind the apple.

Katra laughed as Caleb talked back to her with a mouth full of apple. Eve muffled she could make out his words and she rolled her eyes at him. She took another bite of her own apple and chewed it as well. With her mouth closed. Unlike someone else she knew. She rolled her eyes again when he wiped the juice on his pants. She nudged him and said, "No sense of personal hygiene huh?" But she didnt really mind.
As he had expected she was sure, she followed him through the chaos that was Paris. No one could reall understand it unless they themselves were a werewolf. Everything so much better in every aspect of life. She didnt regret being changed. She liked this new sense of things. Made her feel special.
However, she didnt like the fact that this new change to her also changed other things. Like most other female werewolves she wa stunning. But humans slobbering over her didnt spark her interest. She scowled at them in fact. Just like she was doing now. But she stopped briefly and smiled at Caleb. "Nope. No Bahamas. New York. Some business to take care of."
As the humans continued to stare she glared and growled low in her throat. Then she got a fun idea. She knew Caleb wouldnt mind. He would probably find it ammusing. She put down the apple on the side and walked up to one of the humans. She smiled at him and she let him pull her into his lap. She chuckled and leaned forward to where her face was an inch from his. He seemed pleased with himself. Well im about to wip that grin off your face hun. She thought to herself.
And then before he could blink she got up and grabbed his arm and threw him to the ground. She then stuck her foot on the center of his chest and leaned on her knee as she spoke to him. "Never, look at me like that again. Understand?"

Licking some stray juice off the back of his wrist he flicked his gaze her way when she nudged him.
"No sense of personal hygiene huh?"
He tilted his chin up in mock haughtiness and lacked a single trace of remorse as he bit into his apple again, "What? And miss out on all that dirty fun?" He grinned and stuck out his tongue to catch a stray droplet of tart and sweet just at the edge of his lips. Her rolling eyes got another laugh and he oh-so-casually bumped into her with his shoulder, grinning into the bitten fruit.
Caleb wasn't surprised that both the male and female population in the crowd could not keep their eyes off his current companion. The wolf didn't need to be the most observant creature to take note of Katra's good fortune in the looks department; slim without being too skinny, curves in the right places and a face that looked as if it had been created with a purpose to look that way. And the lupine that resided within her, exuded a kind of dangerous aura that attracted the attentions of many be it in envy, awe or lust. The only problem being that she wasn't enjoying it at all. Agitation was coming off from her in waves, and if her fur were present it would be standing on end.
"Nope. No Bahamas. New York. Some business to take care of."
A purse of the lips and exaggerated nodding in understanding, "Ah, I see. Business. S'what they all say. And before y'know it, I'll be getting postcards from your hotel room..." Snickered laugh and he shook his head, tugging his cap back down his head before it fell off, "M'just kiddin Princess, it sounds real important like it does." Absently he wondered if it was about the rumors circling of an oncoming war, not that he knew much about it, but the winds did tell him some rather interesting things when he listened.
By now the stares were turning into leers and cat calls, and that was getting on Caleb's nerves. He had no objection to a bit of open admiration, but any more drooling and the market was going to become a wet market. Katra's low growl matched his in softness, no need to scare the locals.... yet.
Then again, it looked like Kat was starting the ball rolling already as she sashayed over to one of her admirers and slipped into his lap. Caleb grinned beneath his cap, staying at a safe enough distance to be out of the way when the other shoe fell, but close enough to be the back up she would need if the humans decided to get antsy.
Three, two, one...
And the man was greeting the ground 'hello', complete with pissed off she-wolf pinning him down like a ragdoll.
"Never, look at me like that again. Understand?"
One of the man's cronies began to stir and that's when Caleb caught him by the neck in a strong choke hold. Big toothy smile and he pointed over to where his pack member crouched over her 'prey'. "See that? She learned that all by herself..." The arm banding around a chubby neck tightened a little more in meaning. "Wait till y'see what I've learned."
And just before the man could protest any further about how badly he was being choked, the wolf stuffed his apple core into his mouth. Some people were just so noisy.

Katra was actually having fun. She knew she could kick anyone of their asses here. They were not strong compared to her and when it came to fighting she had a certain air that radiated confidence. She knew she could beat people up and she enjoyed it. But she didnt start fights unless they deserved it and boy did this guy deserve it. Cat calls? She hated those.
But then she noticed Caleb being confronted. Stupid males. They never traveled alone. Always in groups and when one of them went down the rest of the group came to help bring down the fighter. But two werewolves were no match for them. They may not have the sense to realize they had lost already but she could knock some sense into them.
She left the man on the floor and slightly growled at him and then went over to Caleb. She noticed the apple core in the mans mouth and she smirked. "Nice touch. But lets leave them alone. I dont want a fight around here. Even though one would be fun." She chuckled and then nudged Caleb. "Come on hun. They arent worth it. No fight either."

Still keeping a hold on the half squirming man in his arm, Caleb looked up to see Katra walking over to him and he grinned casually as if he didn't have someone turning purple in his hold. "All done there Princess?" It sure looked like it too, he doubted that creep in a human body would be wolf whistling another bird anytime soon... Or maybe he would, guys like that were almost always the same and always predictable. Never learning their lesson. "Like my stuffed pig here?"
"Nice touch. But lets leave them alone. I dont want a fight around here. Even though one would be fun."
Big large puppy dog eyes and Caleb brought the man into a semi one-armed hug, lower lip trembling dramatically. "Awww, but Kat, we were just having so much fun! You'd think we were gettin to be such pals too, my piggy and me." Said 'piggy' was near hysterical, muffled pleas behind his fruit-gag to Katra, imploring her to call off her crazy friend who was now patting his head like a pet he planned on bringing home.
"Come on hun. They arent worth it. No fight either."
He 'tsked' and rolled his eyes, dropping his 'current-squeeze' to the floor gracelessly. But just so he could get a bit more fun out of it, he took a few steps towards the cowering man, kicking the apple core he coughed out. "And this little piggy cried wee, wee, wee... Go home y'git." Low growl at the end to drive his point in hard, and all he could do was chuckle at the cloud of dust the man left behind as he raced off. So much for that.
"Fine, no fightin, no fun, whatcha wanna do then?" The whine was put on as was his pout, truthfully he was having fun already just sharing this with Kat.

Katra chuckled and rolled her eyes. She could see that Caleb was having fun with his little pet there. But he let the man go when she said she didnt want a fight. She actually laughed as she watched the man get up with quick speed and just run off. His buddies werent far behind and she felt accomplished. No cat calls from them. The others...now she couldnt say. But hopefully they had seen the damage done here and they would spread the word. Dont mess with these two.
It was doubtful that they would accept the warning though. A pretty face changed a lot of things. Especially since for males. Did they only think with one thing? She wasnt sure but if another call came it would be the last thing they ever said again. And she wasnt just bluffing. She meant it.
She looked at Caleb as he pouted and she nudged him. "Aww come on. I know a fight is fun but you gotta save those for bars. Those are the most fun. And when they are drunk its entertaining watching them flail about." She shrugged. Sometimes she had a sick sense of humor. Especially in fights.
She folded her arms then and smiled at his question about what they could do. A bar fight sounded like a lot of fun actually at the moment but she couldnt. Plane to catch in a few hours. She couldnt get wrapped up in a fight. Well...she could make it shorter then normal...but she shrugged in response. "Werent you leading me somewhere?"
