The cemetery, the gothic and erie place where the dead rest. Also where they walked. Countless vampires had passed through here. Any dark one would know that. It had a history, you could even read that history it was that great. A vampire was here now. Michael had made his way here, it was a nice place to be right now, nobody was about. It was completely peaceful.
As Michael made his way though the dark place, a particular grave cought his eye. It was nothing special, infact it was the most horrible looking grave in the cemetery. This made him feel justified in sitting on it. While sitting on the grave, he just looked around the place. Taking in the sights. It was an amazing place, and a vampire could have great joy just being here. Just to think about how they cheated death, how Michael cheated death. While these souls are to rot underground. Vampires really are gods he thought to himself.
Then a noise came. Someone else was here. Michael wasn't startled but he didn't want another human near him. No this was something else, a vampire!

Ali was out on this dark night. The moon was full and she was a little weary to be outside. But that wouldnt stop her. She was never out during the day because she couldnt and so this was the only time she had. She wasnt going to waste it because of the threat of a werewolf.
As she walked though she noticed the grave yard. She stopped in her tracks and a light breeze made her jacket billow out and blow her bangs into her face. She moved them aside and then went into the grave yard. She would come here every now and then to just think silently to herself. It was always quiet and so she never had to worry about being bothered.
Tonight though, she could sense she wasnt alone as she walked in between graves. She could smell another vampire. She wasnt sure if they were friend or foe but she would soon find out. She could see him. So she walked a little closer and then nodded to him. "Hello."

If there was any doubt someone else was there, they were obviously answered when a young woman approached him. At first he was annoyed but his mood soon went from irritated to pleased when he realized she was a fellow vampire. That put a smile on his face, meeting other vampires was a joy to him. She seemed harmless, she was obviously young and of no threat.
Michael stood up and looked into her eyes "Charmed" Michael said lightly, bareley audible to a human but a vampire would hear it. He then took her hand and softly kissed it. "Always nice to meet another vampire. You can call me Michael" Michael was very pleased to meet this vampire, he already met another vampire when he arrived here, so if there were two he had met so far, there must be alot more. It didn't look like many vampires liked to be out and about though. I wonder why? Michael asked himself.
This girl could probably answer those questions. "And what do you go by miss?"

Ali smiled gently when he smiled at her. He obviously wasnt going to hurt her. And she would have ran by now if she sensed he was dangerous. She was strong but she could tell he was much older then her. And a fight would be pointless. He would win in a heartbeat. This other vampire called Michael. He seemed sweet though as he kissed her hand. She had met only one other person who had ever done that.
She chuckled though and said, "Im Ali." She curtsied and laughed at herself. She was such a dork she told herself and added, "It is nice to meet a fellow vampire. There are lots of us around though. And I havent seen you before. New to town?" She asked him.

Michael observed her mannerisims and words. He could tell right there she wasn't like ordinary vampires vampires. She had the innocence of a young human girl. Vampires like her would be very hard to come by no doubt. Michael was happy she was like that. The woman who turned him seemed like a miserable hag in a beautiful womans body. He assumed all would be exactly the same but now he wasn't so sure.
He locked his eyes on hers once again "Yes, I am new in town. I came from, well I came from all over the place actually" He said while laughing lightly. She said there were many vampires here. He didn't know how so many would react to him, they might not be as nice as this one, he thought to himself.
Michael didn't want to go so fast, so he wouldn't ask her where the rest of the vampires are. "You are very young are you not? How do you like life as a vampire so far" Michael curiously awaited a response.

Ali could tell he was sizing her up. She was so much younger then him but she knew even younger vampires then her. Take Lee Roy for instance. But Michael seemed kind and she smiled at him. She was pleased to hear he was a traveler. She traveled everywhere as well.
"A traveler huh? I cant stay in one place for long either. But I refuse to go back to where I was born and died." She shrugged and then added, "And yes. Im younger. I was changed at 15 but by that point I looked like my adult self at 21. Which is my current age now." She told him.

Michael found this girl very intriguing. He needed friends here and she seemed to fit into the position. She told him she was turned at 15, so so young. He was turned when he was 27. Seemed like a perfect age, he was lucky. She was quite lucky too, better to be turned at 15 then to be turned as a pre-teen, apparently many children have been turned, it was unimaginable for him.
"I am 208 years old myself. Like you, I never wish to return to where I was born" They already had one thing in common. He then gently grabbed her chin and pushed up softly, so that she was looking up at him. "So young, yet I can sense a mature power radiating off of you. You have eternity for your powers to grow, the sky is the limit" It really was for a vampire like her.

Ali was impressed that he was that old. She remembered when she had met Angelique. She had been 800 years old but with a nasty attitude. Michael seemed so kind and didnt seem to fit nasty at all. She was glad about that. She had been on high alert for days now. She didnt know who her friends and who her enemies were. It was getting harder to tell as well.
But she blushed when he tilted her chin up and looked at her. She chuckled slightly and said, "When your sire ditches you and leaves you to fend on your own, you have to grow up quickly." She said and shrugged. It had been horrible being only 15 and not knowing what to do. What would hurt her and what wouldnt.

Michael had no idea the amount of mental pain and scarring was caused by being abadoned by your sire as soon as you are reborn. Her words made him think of how underappreciative he had been of his own sire. She was a harsh teacher but atleast she taught him the skills needed to survive. This girl was either very strong or very good at hiding the pain.
"I wish I could tell you that I can relate to that, but I honestly can't. I guess I am a lucky one, but it looks like you have done very well" Michael once again gave a light smile to the girl. Michael tried to keep this question in, but curiosity had him in a tight grip. "You said there were other vampires here. So do you all live together" Michael instantly debated to himself in his mind whether he should of asked that question, but that was pointless, the question had been asked and an answer would soon follow.

Ali smiled at him and chuckled slightly. "Yeah. Not many people are like me. They all had their sire teach them. But nope. Mine ditched me after he changed me. Didnt even stay to see me fully change either. But oh well. His loss." She said and smiled gently. It had taken her a while to get over it. But now she was all right. She knew everything she needed and she wasnt wondering.
When he asked her his question though she chuckled and then shook her head. "No. We all live all over the place. Sometimes in big groups but mostly not. I only live with one other person. And I travel to much to stay in one spot for long. So i was amazed i bought a house here in London."

Michael was slightly disappointed. If they were all over the place, who knows how long they will take to find. She did give him information that he could work on though and that was something. He would track them down soon enough. After hearing more of what she had to say about her sire, he was disgusted. How could anyone change a human and just abandon them? It was cruel, sick and twisted. She was upset over it no doubt but she was also brave, a very admirable thing.
The story she told was sad even if it was only a few words long. He then gracefully moved his hand to her cheek and began stroking it softly "It really was his loss. You have become stronger for it though" With that said, he slowly moved his hand from her cheek and crossed his arms. He was curious to who she lived with, had to be a vampire "If you don't mind me asking who is it that you live with" Once again his curiosity got the better of him. He just needed to know as much as he could. He came to this place for a reason.

Ali watched him quietly and just stayed silent for a minute. She knew he wasnt the only one that felt it was his loss. She had taken to many people about this. And she hated seeing the pity but she knew it was done and over with but it left a small effect on her. She had learned everything the hard way. She had learned the sun hurt them by actually letting it touch her skin. She learned to stay away after that.
She had found out about fire when she had been afraid of it anyway. It had been a natural instinct and so that was easy to find out. She stopped her thinking though as he touched her cheek and called her brave. "Im far from brave." And then she hesitated on answering his next question. "I live with another vampire named Lee Roy."

Michael sensed something was out of place. She paused before telling him the name of the vampire she lived with. He looked in her eyes and saw conflict, it was like she was ashamed to say. This Lee Roy obviously wasn't a lover of hers, he could tell that by her eyes. Maybe he was human or maybe he was a werewolf but she said he was a vampire so it was something different.
He looked deep into her eyes, he wasn't trying to grill her at all. She didn't want him to know but he was very interested now. "You hesitated there. This Lee Roy, he's not a normal vampire is? The sun will rise in a few hours and I currently have no place to go tonight. Michael really didn't have a place to go. It was no trick but he was very keen on meeting this Lee Roy. "Lee Roy wouldn't mind me staying would he? It would only be for one night"

Ali looked everywhere but at him. She knew she had hesitated. She had hesitated because she didnt like to bring up Lee Roy because of what people might say about him and about her. She was nervous but she looked at him and then said, "I...Lee Roy wont mind." She told him and sighed in defeat.
He needed somewhere to stay. She remembered when she had been in the same position and someone had let her stay. She had been grateful and so she would help this vampire as well. "You can stay. I know how it is not having somewhere to sleep. So its fine. And trust me...Lee Roy wont mind." She told him and then turned. "This way." She added and then walked off towards her house.

Michael was pleasantly surprised. It was so sweet and generous to give him a place to stay for the night. He knew that lesser vampires would have turned him away on the spot. He owed her a debt, one that he would gladly pay when the time came. "Thank you very much. You are too kind to me" He said with a greatful smile. Michael knew from that moment that he would never ever meet a vampire as kind as her again.
Ali began leading the way to her home, he followed her walking a few feet behind her "Lee Roy seems like a nice guy, if he really doesn't mind me staying" Still there was something about the way she spoke of him. Something wasn't right at all. Well he had shelter from the sun thanks to both of them. That was the important thing. Michael kept behind her as she lead the way.
