Amyrose seated herself on the bench. She just drank the blood of a few squirrels, and her thirst was satisfied. She tried to push the image of the innocent beings' twisted crumpled bodies lying bleakly limp along the ground. Is there a guilt-free way of killing and eating? she thought to herself. At least it isn't a human, she thought, which somehow gave her some comfort. She began to drift off in thought. Before she knew it, she was snapped back to reality when she sensed another vampire near. She turned her head to see a sandy-haired vampire who was tall and lean. Her mind raced as it usually did when she met someone new. He certainly is attractive..... He would never like me, of course...... He probably thinks I'm a freak....... Is my hair okay? I should really--- she stopped mid-thought. She realized she was still looking at him. She turned away, took a deep breath, and turned back. "Hi," she said nervously.

"Why, Hello there." Cillian smiled amiably, his tone light and friendly. Just like him; light and friendly. He strode around the bench gracefully and seated himself next to the vampire. "Mind if I join you?" he asked politely, giving her a fair distance so as not to frighten her. His smile was warm and welcoming, and he'd just fed so he wasn't grumpy at all, but it's not like Cillian ever got grumpy. If you saw Cillian grumpy, you weren't actually dealing with the right personality.
He sighed, watching as his breath swirled around in the chilly night. He loved the cold.

"Not at all," Amyrose replied. He had an amazing smile. "I'm Amyrose, by the way. Are you from around here?" she asked. Hmm, she thought. Is that polite to ask? I really need to stop second-guessing myself. I don't see how that could be too impolite. She managed a friendly smile at this new person.

"Pleasure. I'm Cillian," he offered his hand and smiled once more, his perfect lips sliding smoothly around his teeth. "And yes, I was born in a town a few miles off. You?" he asked. She seemed a little sheepish, but Cillian thought she had nothing to be worried about. Well, she didnt, unless she somehow and for some reason mentioned dead bodies. In which case, yes, she had Sidney to worry about. But, of course, Cillian was not aware of his polar opposite's presence.
He shoved the thought of his previous life far, far back into the depths of his mind. As usual, casting it into Sidney's lair in the complex cave of his head. He was beginning to get that nagging feeling at the back of his brain already. His eyes prickled a little, but he scrunched them on pressed on, refusing to accept any of the horrible images he had long forgotten about. Usually at this point in time; if he'd thought back to his human life, Cillian would be 'daydreaming', or so he thought. He'd just wake up a while later and not remember what he'd been doing. Silly silly oblivious Cillian.

"That's a nice name. I'm from around here. Born and raised," she said as she took his hand in a handshake. "Erm..... It's.... uh.... a nice night, isn't it?" she asked. although it was dull, this was the first thing she could think to say. She realized she was still shaking his hand and quickly retracted it, blushing slightly as she turned away from his dazzling blue eyes and stared down at her worn, black Converses. ((Was that handshake part god-moding? if so, I'll modify it......))
