Salem wondered aimlessly through the city's parks. The gentle hue of orange still flicked accross the horizen like a hensitent artist afraid to ruin a possible master piece with one last stroke of darkness.
He held in his smooth pale hands a black umbrella listening to the dull patter of drizzle against the nylon fabic. strands of dyed black hair flicked over his alluring gray eyes and smooth porcilin features.
light tapping sounds couold be heard faintly under foot as he stepped lightly across the cement walkways and lanes. His mind ever pensive, his expression blank. the stale metalic taste of human blood still laced the back of his tastebuds like dropletts of remembered guilt like smoke across his senses and breath.
Salem stepped near a small artificial stream which had been poorly built and pooled as more of a large puddle then anything else. But he could still find something calm about it. There was something about large bodies of water that soothed his sences more then the ever rememberance of piss. Granted pissing was not all an unpleasant affair. But there was something that placed him in a more pensive mood then the simple thought of bodly functions.
Leaning over a small railing his umbrella in hand, though his coat and cloths still dry he stared into the water like some lost lover with a secret they could never admit to that special person

Wednesday walked around, like many other times before. She didn't feel the usual need to feed upon some random human.
'Rain? Oh just what I needed' she thought as she felt the first drops on her white skin. She wiped away a drop that had landed on her cheek. She cursed under her breath and kept walking. Not many people were out as this time. Only a few who were quickly trying to get away from the rain. A young couple walked past her, holding hands. "Oh so innocent....How anoying" She mumbeld.
She had never been the hopeless romantic many girls were. She shifted some hair out of her face and stopped for a while. She listened to the rain drops as they hit the ground. She couldn't help but smile. This was something she didn't do often because she never thought about it. Stopping in the rain and listen to it as it hit the ground was not the usual thought to cross her mind.

Salem sighed stepping away from the large puddle of a lake, or river, or whatever mess it was meant to be that he'd managed to stare at for a full ten minutes and wondered the little streets now quite glad he'd brought the umbrella. Sure it held little or no resistance to the sun, he did find something romantic about the thought, and it was England, it was lucky if it didn't rain, even in summer.
The streets of fumes and the stale stench of waste met him even in the greenest section of the nicest park, granted Salem had never thought London a pretty place, just...convenient.
Listening to the patter of rain followed by his foot falls as he hummed a song that never failed to strike his imagination " Falling slowly, eyes that know me And I can't go back "Moods that take me and erase me, and I'm painted black, you have suffered enough, and warred with yourself It's time that you won" he sang softly under his breath the tune trapt in his mind he felt he needed some way to id himself from them
With a simple seductive smile Salem nodded to a pleasant couple enjoying the romantic idea of walking in the rain. The idea caused Salem to giggle slightly, though as he went his voice became hushed on seeing a woman.
She was beautiful, breath taking even, at least in Salem's opinion, which could have been used to descibe just about anyone he'd take interest in, or that he thought he could get off with, and there were ever so many, so he tended to find his opinion hard to judge by, not that it mattered. "You might get cold standing alone out here like that" his voice came gently as a warm breeze through the patter of ice cold water, to which he found he was not teribly aware of, Salem had found the art of ignoring just about any discomfort that wouldn't kill him. With a slight smirk, and a quick glint of heathly fangs at his mistake Salem bowed his head a little. He never did quite get, or care to get, the hang of hiding his fangs and smiled "My apologies, I need to pay more attention to my sences" Salem smiled about to move on but hesititated, it was not often he ment a creature of his own kind, if ever, and when he did the results tened to be a war for food. Either way he had probably never spoken to a creature of his own kind, at least since he'd been turned over anything then which town they wanted to slaughter or just testoerone fuled fights. Oh yes Salem had killed many in his time

Wednesday laughed a cynical laugh. "A cold? I don't worry that much about that anymore.." She turned around and saw who had been talking to her.
She couldn't help but smile. A gorgeous guy was standing in front of her. The rain made her hair fall in her face all the time which caused her to have to move it out of her face every other minutte. She could feel that the rain was cold on her skin but she wasn't cold. And this guy certainly didn't make her feel worse. "And besides I'm not alone anymore" She said and smirked.
Wednesday thought about why the guy had talked to her. She also wondered what he was doing out. Then she suddenly realized it; he was a vampire aswell. She felt stupid for not noticing it before. She smiled again and tried to avoid anymore stupidities.

Salem smiled at her reasuringly and ran a hand down the side of her face taking a lock of her dark hair between his thin pale fingers and strung it behind her ear. "Maybe you should consider a hair tie, or no I think hair bands would suit you better, but it seems a shame a woman as fair as yourself would hide behind such wonderful hair" he smiled kindly stepping back a bit "I haven't met another vampire in...well along time, maybe fifty years, to no surprise you don't find many in deserts, well you don't find much of anything in deserts really" he laughed
"So you come here often?" he teased a little glancing around "I haven't been to England in so long, care to show me the best places to go? In return for a drink, or whatever it is you would like" Salem said gently smiling "It's Salem by the way" His voice fell like musical notes using the gental guide of the wind to his advantage and helf the umbrealla over her head "Still, though you can't get cold, I wouldn't want you to get so wet no one can see you through the hair" he smiled

She smiled. "Here? no...I'm more the graveyard type" She replied. "Well, it depends alot on what you wanna see...But sure I'll show you around..But I don't go out much to alot of diffrent places so bare with me" She said and smiled. "And I'm Wednesday..And my hair usually isn't a problem seeing as I mostly just hide" She said with a smirk.
She usally didn't think much about wether she was hiding behind her hair or not. But apparently this vampire was interested in seeing her face. She for some reason really enjoyed the sound of his voice and didn't feel the usual restless feeling she almost always had. She was surprised by the effect the vampire had on her.

"Graveyard?" Salem looked at Wednesday thinking for a moment before giving a small smile "Seems a peculiar place to go, I mean I dunno about you but being a vampire is mainly about the ability to stay alive and watch the world move. I dunno, I just don't like being reminded of death, I think my worst fear as a human was growing old and dying, but I never will, so why reminince about what we live to avoid? least I think that anyway." he smiled at her wondering if she thought differently or was going to explode at him for bringing it up at all in all honesty he had no idea the reaction he might get from her, he'd no wish to insult the woman though, simply offered another point of veiw "I prefer places of beauty." he pressed on with a smiled and tapped her arm lightly to indicate her to walk towards town with him with a kind smile "Not that mouring, or graveyards aren't beautiful...but I prefer things more....solid, no, something happier maybe. I mean I've been alive a long time, and I'm going to be, so...so I think I'd sooner see the world for what its worth then settle for obvious pain or suffering. I dunno, I'm sorry I'm rambling" he laughed finaly giving her a kind of awkward grin "I have a selfish habit of doing that, really when I get started I could talk for three" Salem smiled at her "That wont be a problem, if I get restless I can just move the curtain of hair over your face to cheer me up, that saying you don't mind. But I really don't mind where we go, we could go to a pub or somewhere quiet, perhaps this graveyard you seem to like. I usually spend time alone so I don't mind if you'd like to go somewhere quiet, as long as you can put up with me rambling, feel free to stop me when I do" he laughed them smiled at her his eyes bright his voice soft and musical as he spoke, though his laugh natural and pleasant, even human. "Salem" he nodded "It's a pleasure." he smiled but then frowned a small bit "Hide?" he repeated curiously "Why would you hide? If you don't mind me asking, but you seem...you seem the type one would want to meet or they'd live to regret it, that saying you aren't hunting them, dunno what they'd think" he smiled laughing slightly "Unless of course you prefer animals, far be it for me to presume your prefrences." Salem then frowned slightly, tensing suddenly, a faint scent of blood enough to bother him. Glancing at a wall he could see a cat licking its paw making him sigh a little and quicken his pace to escape the smell, even a small little cut on an animal so soon after feeding bothered, he had not nearly enough control

"Not really...There's a whole story behind me and graveyards" She said and smiled "And yeah theres a point in what your saying but for me death is one of the most beautiful and amazing things and I love the fact that im now a part of it" "Hmm...There is a few places around here that are of true happiness....I'll show you some diffrent things then" She said and walked around a corner.
She laughed "it's ok.. I like it when people talk..." She had never been one to talk alot so she enjoyed it when other people did. For some reason she always liked how people told so much about themselves just by talking.
"Why I hide? Hmm..Good question..I think it might be because then I wont be judged as quickly..People are really judgemental at times" She said quietly. Wednesday looked in the same direction as Salem. "It's just a cat...Relax" She said and smiled at him. She wondered why he had suddenly started walking faster because of a cat.

"Oh right, sorry not really my place to pry, not that I wouldn't love to hear of it sometime" Salem smiled and sighed slightly listening to the sound of the rain "I don't really get how, if your meaning vampires, I thought our point was to avoid death, unless of course I've misunderstood something, wouldn't be the first time" he asked curiously as they were emortal so there for the opposite of dead
"Really? well then that sounds brillient, though I hope you don't mean maternity wards or something." he smirked laughing softly as he followed her "Good, cause really I can talk for three people on a good day, I just don't shut up" he grinned shaking his head
"Yeah thats so true...sometimes there right but yeah I get where your coming from, it's never been something that bothered me though strangely, but then again the only people who really would judge me over the last few years were people I was probably trying to escape, kill or sleep with so yeah I'd probably be the same had it not been for how things worked out" Salem smiled at her comfortingly but there was a sad glimmor behind his eyes showing he wasn't about to elaborate
Salem gave a slight nod as she smiled though he found it difficult to force a smile back at her, it was clearly forced. As he placed some distance between himself and the cat he finally allowed himself to lean against a wall, his upper lip throbbing, hands shaking, stomach twisted and throat dry. It didn't matter that he had eaten not an hour ago, when he smelled blood he found it next to impossible to stop himself, he knew it wasn't healty, wednesday wasn't even wincing at the smell. He tried to hide that he was in pain by pressing his shaking hands aganist the wall and keep his gaze from her as his eyes were gleaming with bright alluring lust. He wondered how long he'd be able to stop himself from just attacking anything in sight, in a way it frightened him. He didn't want to hurt anyone but there had been times he'd blacked out only to come back to his senses surrounded by corpses and blood. He had no idea what he was going to do and could feel his eyes dancing in his sockets after just about anyone that went by his jaw where his fangs protruded throbbed and his mind was so set on controling himself he'd almost forgotten Wednesday was even there as he began to muttere swares under his breath

Wednesday looked at Salem. "Are you ok?" She asked. As soon as the words were over her lips she realized how stupid a question that was. He was obviously not ok. She stood there for a while not knowing what to do. She had no idea what was going on with Salem or what was gonna happen. She didn't know what would happen if she tried to help him.
She stepped closer to him and tried to gain eyecontact. "Salem? What's going on?" She asked. She felt concered for some reason. She had felt some sort of conection to Salem and hated seeing him in pain. She usually didn't mnd watcing people in pain but she couldn't stand seeing him like that.

Salem hadn't even heard her first question, still not looking at her and his eyes darting around at anything that cool be food, a cat, a dog even a few rats that scapered by were starting to look apitizing, he was screwed sideways with a screwdriver if a human walked by, or more correct, they were.
Salem's eyes trailed to Wednesday's as she stepped closer, not for the conceren she seemed to be showing, but because he could smell her blood beneath her skin. For a moment he bared his fangs a her, and moved away again his throat and chest pulsing in pain for blood. Salem shook his head almost fit fully with a slight growl looking away from her again. "The smell of blood" He growled, unable to help that as his vampiric nature came out, but beneath that was a helpless wimper and he shook his head again "I can't-" he started cutting off mid sentance but figure that she'd gather what he'd meant, he would have apologized or something, but was far to wrapped up in the painfull lust, all he needed was the smallest thing to have him out of control and feeding on anything so matter where he was, or who it was, he'd even gone for a small child in this state once because they'd grazed there knee
