She made a point to answer her last question first while glancing back at the building he cunningly sat upon. "He will find us if he wishes, and you are welcome to stay with me. I have an extra room you are encouraged to inhabit for the time being. It's quite far from here, but my car isn't but a few blocks down the street." She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and laughed, a musical tinkling thing all in its own. "You don't mind riding in the car with a random person on the street, do you? Come, this way." Aurel took a step down the street.

Jazz quickly followed Aurel. "Well," she laughed," after pretty much saving me like that, i can't really call you a stranger now. Im comfortable riding with you. thanks." Jazz tugged her arms together and coughed while following behind her. 'crap, i knew i'd get sick if i stood out in the pouring rain like this...'

Aurel laughed again. "He wouldn't have hurt you. He likes to... play... let's leave it at that." She dug into her pocket and pulled out some keys. They were approaching the car rapidly. She blushed with what little blood she had as the car came into view, a sleek silver lexus with a modified engine. It went much faster than it should have. "You can see I have a weakness for decent automotives." She unlocked the back door ("Your guitar is welcome here.") and the passenger side door ("The rain won't harm the leather seats too much."). She got in the car and revved the engine. A slight unbidden smile lit up her face, exsposing her fangs to the guest.

Jazz eyes whidened at the car. "Sweet car!," She laughed," I'd never thought i'd see one this nice." Jazz put her guitar gently in the back, and hopped in the front. Jazz looked over at Aurel, who flashed a smile at Jazz, exposing fangs. Jazz smiled," Those are pretty awesome. Did you get them at Hottopic or something? I saw them there. Although," she laughed," it may sound silly, but after what i saw tonight, i wouldn't be suprised if they were real."

Aurel ran her hands over the delicate leather interior. "Thanks. I love my car - but this isn't my only baby." The car roared under the pressure of her foot on the pedal. The cars tires screeched, for sure leaving skid marks on the cement. "My fangs. For your information - forgive me for being blunt - are very real." She pushed the car faster. "I was made a vampire more than six hundred years ago. Believe me or not, I am an actual vampire. The other vampire... I've ran into him before; last time he wasn't very nice and I was scared he would feed from you - or worse - embrace you. Putting you under my protection forbade him from harming you. Thankfully this time he just wanted to, as I've said before, play. It is a sport all vampires, including myself, enjoy." The car literally drifted around the corner, jolting the passengers. "Sorry." Aurel muttered. "I liked to drive fast." She pulled into her driveway and stopped. "Welcome to my home."

Jazz face went blank as Aurel stopped the car. "A..are you being serious?" Jazz was silently thinking. Her blank face was replace with a hug smile. "oh my god..this is what I've been waiting for...i mean not to be rude, my whole life I've been fascinated with the undead. I have to be dreaming!" Jazz walked a little past Aurel, fascinated, and stopped with a frown. She looked at Aurel in her eyes, and softly asked"so..I'm just food?"

Vladimir pulled into the drive way in his black corvette, he had fallowed them and had herd the last question asked and after he had got out he said "no your not just food, just because we drink blood doesn't mean that we don't have human friends and it doesn't mean we feed from all humans. Some of us don't even drink human blood, and you have my word that even though i do drink human blood i won't drink yours"
He took great pride in his corvette, he had created the engine out of the bets parts money could by, he had the body remade into a carbon fiber body to reduce weight and to increase strength, he had the frame made of carbon fiber as well, the glass had been tinted black and was in fact bullet proof. It had no key holes it had electronic doors instead that unlocked when Vladimir came within 2 feet of them, there was a censor in his ring and his key. The car would not start, even if the key was inserted, unless the ring was inside the car. It ran silently even to a vampire, he had custom parts that were made to ensure this.

Jazz turned around to face Vladimir, who almost scared her. "oh..I see...that makes sense." Jazz stood silently before adding," And its nice to know you wont drink mine. Thank you. Even if its only because Aurel's here, or so i assume," she smiled," Either way, it doesn't matter. Thank you."

"it's not just because shes here, i wouldn't anyways. I'm not thirsty and above that it would be impolite don't you think?"he said joking and then laughed and added "like the car?" he had herd what she had said about Aurel's car and wanted to see what she thought about his.

Aurel had noticed the black car behind them but hadn't assumed that Vladimir also had a car nearby, therefor assuming it wasn't the other vampire. As they got out, she listened silently to his reply, nodding. "What he said is correct, Jazz, you are not simply food. My invitation to stay in my home and teach me to play was not a trick. And i was sincere when I placed you under my protection." She turned vaguely to Vladimir. "I trust you'll stay for the remainder of the night?" Aurel moved closer to the other vampire and lowered her voice, not wanting to expose the human too quickly. "If you're thirsty, my storage room is the closet in the third room down the hallway. Open the bolt with your mind. There is no key." She patted him on the shoulder. "Oh, and nice ride. You'll have to tell me where you got the parts manufactured." Aurel walked back to Jazz and put her arm around her neck. "Facinated, eh? If you have any questions, let me know. I'd be glad to answer them, as well, I'm sure, as Vladimir." Letting go of the human she walked up the sidewalk and unlocked the keyless door with her mind. She pushed it open and glanced back at her guests. "Welcome to my home." Since this was simply her vacation home, it was not garnished as extravagantly as her other. A beige suede couch sat dully in the middle of the room, facing the TV above the fireplace. The kitchen was directly to the left of the door, an open counter revealing the basic kitchen utilities. To the right was a hallway, which had three doors; a guest room, Aurels room, and the third, and office which had a double use. "It's pretty bland... a few paintings here and there... but there is food in the fridge and wood in the hearth."

Jazz had questions stored in her mind, however decided best to put them off later. it was rude, after all. Jazz walked inside the home, amazed. "Are you kidding?" she smiled," this place is comfy! i bet you take trips here all the time!," Jazz walked around the living room for a moment, admiring the paintings. She always loved art. It was like a close sister of music. Jazz turned to Aurel. "Thanks for letting me stay here. And im sorry for the rude comment earlier. It's just..i never met a vampire before. I dont know HOW to react. And im..glad your protecting me. i feel safe now."

(order understood. ) Aurel gave a slight bow, agknowledging both guests complements. "I am a big fan of M.C Escher, if you haven't noticed." she set her hands behind her back. "And you weren't being rude. Any human in their right mind would have acted in the same way." She hesitated. "Vlad, I only have one guest room. You are welcome to stay, you may have my room for the night and I'll sleep in the office or on the couch, but I'm afraid that's all I can offer from this house. I have better selection of rooms in my New York penthouse." She watched with delight the human admire her selection of painting. Aurel adorned her surroundings with various forms of art. With her french ancestry flowing through her veins, how could she not? It was her one and only hobby... art collection, in all its varying forms... "If you wish, little one, I can show you my collection of instruments and records, CD's, and tapes. I have a..." she searched for the right word, " lexicon, as you could say. It's displayed in my office. Third room down the hallway, if you're interested."

"Thank you, Aurel," Jazz smiled," i think i will, i'm very interested." Jazz walked where she was told; third room down the hall. When she go there, She was facsinated by the room filled with anything music. 'she really does like music!' Jazz flipped through her records, just like the ones her mother used to give her. 'and she has good music tastes too!' She saw a nearby violin. It was beautiful. Just like the one her aunt used to play with. Jazz gently touched the wooden instrument with the tips of her fingers. 'maybe i shouldn't touch it...' She couldnt help herself, and began to gently poke the strings, making a very quiet noise.
