Lars shrugged when Haemish confessed he hadn't heard of the movie. Thinking about it again, it was a bum at the box office (even though it shouldn't have been), so he guessed it wasn't all that huge of a movie. Not to mention they lived on totally different parts of the world. But hey, wasn't David Bowie from England anyway? Lars lightly shook his head, letting the subject drop from his mind.
Lars wasn't much a fan of TV either, to be quite honest, he just enjoyed movies so much more, plot lines, characters were all better. If it was well made that is. Most modern movies lost their 'zen' so to speak. The population always wants crude humor, sex, and violence. Nothing meaningful was hardly made anymore.
"Mmm, pastime?" Lars breathed out as he shifted his weight more to Haemish's massaging hand. The slightest contact made him get butterflies inside him. "Oh, I listen to music a lot. I like to write I suppose, draw, anything creative I guess..." he said with a bit of struggle from the distraction. He wasn't really sure what a pastime would be, making up stories more in his head, and never writing them down would be more like it.
He felt the small move in Haemish's breathing as he yawned out. Lars giggled softly as he stared up at his tired looking face. "Sleepy, love?" he asked lightly, not aware of his usage of pet names, as his eyes danced around Haemish's beautiful face. As his eyes moved he also realized they no longer wanted to stay open too much longer.

Haemish's lips formed a grin, spreading across his growingly tired features. He nodded a bit, meeting Lars's gaze. He felt his stomach spin slightly, but brushed it off as a simple petname of sorts, not wanting to get himself worked up over it. He bit his lip, "You too?"[/i] came a sleepy voice he soon realised to be his. The voice didn't quite sound like his, although he was probably just a bit out of it because he hadn't slept well the day before.
He was refering to the fact that Lars seemed to be having trouble keeping his eyes open too. Haemish resumed biting his lip, forcing his eyes to remain rested on Lars. He removed one hand, reluctantly, from Lars to rub his eyes gently. He could feel them still sitting at a deep and seductive blue, and was quite surprised to say the least that he wasn't nervous. He had no clue what to do next though, or what was expected of him. Was he supposed to offer up his bed and sleep on the couch? Were they supposed to sleep in the same bed?
But none of those thoughts seemed to bother him enough to make him anxious at all. He figured that it would all go smoothly, and there wasn't any good to come from worrying over something that would most likely be good whatever way it rolled. Just like the rest of the night had gone. He thought back to sitting in the alley, but wasn't able to picture feeling scared or in pain at all, it was as thouugh the feeling of emptyness had left him entirely. He was filled now. Well, for now at least. But he wasn't about to look ahead; no good would come of that either.
Haemish realised he was smiling at the thought too, comparing the feeling he couldn't picture very well to the feeling he had inside of him right now was a very drastic change indeed. He ran his tongue along his fangs a little out of habit as he brought himself back to reality.

"Mmmhm," Lars mumbled as he burrowed into Haemish's chest as a yawn escaped himself as a sigh. He squeezed his eyes shut tightly and opened them up again as he raised his head from Haemish's shirt to look at him rubbing his own eyes. Even though he was a tad bit upset from the lack of contact to his shoulder, it was worth it to see him preform the cute action to his eyes.
He felt at peace at the moment. Not the lazy, 'I don't really care much', peace with himself he usually felt. It was different now. Like he hadn't a need to care for anything else than what was lying next to him right now. He'd had almost the same feeling all night, but he was just now realizing it. It was a change, but a good one. One he was welcoming in as much as possible.
Lars wondered himself on where he would sleep. The couch was comfortable enough. But he had already been through enough with Haemish, and sleeping in the be together would be no different than how they were rested on the couch now. Both where to tired to contemplate doing anything else. Even besides that, Lars had shared beds with people he'd just met like this. It was funny how things became thrown all up when you get on the subject of beds, how where they anymore important than couches anyway? No, there was no difference, one had sheets, that was all.
But still, he was a guest in the house, no matter how comfortable they both felt. Lars had been raised up with some sorts of mannerism. Enough to ask at least, "So, since we're both pretty tired... Where do you prefer I sleep?" Lars mentally applauded himself on how he posed the question, he could figure where Haemish would 'prefer' him to sleep, but he wouldn't get carried away quite yet.

Haemish bit his lip and thought; he didnt want to come across as hasty of sorts. It wasn';t like him, but then again, the couuch wasn't comfortable to sleep on. He knew that all too well with experience. He also didnt want to bring back memories by saying that; the last person he'd let close to him had left after he turned them. It was the only human blood he'd ever had, and the only other person to live with him for a few years. But after teh vampire left Haemish even more empty than he had been a decade ago. He sighed at the thought, but wasn't actually surprised when he didn't feel any horrible emotions.
He forced himself to voice this though, even though he still wouldnt be surprised if saying it outloud would cause pain. "Well, let me tell you," he paused to flash a smile. "This couch is not very comfortable to sleep on. Beleive you me."[/i] he finished. No pain came to him, only making him smile harder. Though, he figured it must look like he was being creepy about Lars sleeping in his bed, but it wasn't that. He wiped his smile off in case Lars thought he was a psycho.
[[sorry its short. I have to go to school though.]]

Lars shifted his tired, heavy feeling body a little so Haemish's chin was pulled away from the top of his head. Lars rested his own chin on top of his chest, his upper body semi-overlapping Haemish's while he lay his stomach on the black leather. He watched him as he bit his lip to a response with still ever drooping eyes.
Haemish began to speak and Lars was listening, but not. He felt the vibrations coming from within his companions chest as his smooth voice. Lars listened more for tones and pitch as his mind began to drift from the lack of sleep. Just for a second, he told himself as he lowered his eyes hoping to regain some measure of alertness.
Instead Lars let himself slip into slumber on accident. What had it been? Two, Three days since he hadn't slept for a good period of time? Haemish made a wonderful pillow and support for his small frame and he had just been so tired. All the comforties around this man had made him sleepy and safe feeling along with it. The matter of where to crash was out of the question now.

Haemish felt Lars shift slightly under him, and re-opened his resting eyes in time to see Lars close his. He smiled at the peaceful mood surrounding them and watched silently as Lars drifted into sleep. He leaned forward a little bit, placing his lips to the top of Lars's forehead before laying back gently; so as not to wake Lars, and closing his own eyes.
He was clearly not as tired as Lars was, but he was tired enough to fall asleep fairly quickly. His eyes remained closed for a while as he listened to the syncronized breathing the two had, the pattern lulling him into a sleep soon after. Before he did pass into nothingness (for the second time that night) Haemish had time to think about three things. One, his first boyfriend. Two, his first girlfriend. Both of those ended horribly, but that didn't matter now that he had his third thought.
