Haemish froze as Lars strode over to him. As the words reached his ear he felt goose bumps form rapidly down his neck, along with a slight shudder. He was stunned, left biting his lip and grasping desperately for some words to reply with. Somehow you're welcome didnt seem good enough for the miracle that stood so close to him. That and the fact that the words themself were like the rest of the english language, as well as his mind; just out of reach. Finally, he fumbled the words out of his mouth.
"No,"[/i] he said slowly, but he paused to bite his lip harder, making sure he was not dreaming. If he was, it was very torturous of his mind to do this and make him wake up back to his lame life. Nope. It was real. After a short sigh of relief, he continued. "thank you."[/i] he finished, his words still slow and contemplated. Although, he'd said the first words he could get out of his mouth, they indeed came out smoothly as usual. He nearly rolled his eyes, not surprised by his defyingly fluid voice anymore. He didn't want to take it for granted, but it always seemed to turn out perfect, leaving him feeling stupid for getting worked up over embarassing himself. He caught his thoughts wandering, trying to avoid potential humiliation at the fact that it had been so long since he'd felt anything for anyone.
He slid his arms around Lars's waist, unsure of what else to do really, since he no longer had instincts in that departement. Haemish allowed his head to lower to Lars's ear as well. "At first I was scared for when you have to leave, and I still am, but that doesn't matter, because you're here right now."[/i] he felt as though his throat might fall out with the way his heart just did, but they did not such thing. Everything stayed in place despite him practically throwing his heart at Lars. With that in mind, he realised that he wouldn't crumble like his protective walls if he showed any signs of weakness to a welcomed intruder.
His lips were not quite at Lars's ear, however. His cheek was lightly touching his parteners. He closed his eyes and allowed himself the luxury of absorbing the moment. Something he hadn't done in way too long.

Lars kept his head leveled in silence. His breathing steady from force, if he had let his breathing go it would most likely be untidy and rapid from the physical, and emotional closeness of the whole night. Lars wasn't sure if Haemish would respond to anything quickly, he really didn't care if he responded at all. Lars knew he wanted him to be there, and that's all that made any difference. And Lars just wanted to be here, next to Haemish, until the sun went down, then they'd do it all over, and he'd never get tired of it.
'No, thank you', sounded like such intelligent, and most... wonderful, well put together pair of words ever spoken when it came through Haemish's smooth voice. But Lars laughed lightly at it, satisfied that they both had agreed. He let his head rest on Haemish's shoulder, or more a bit below considering his height. His clothes smelled clean and the outdoor rains had made it even more appealing, like one of those laundry detergent commercials. Lars breathed deeply in to catch more of the heavenly scent. Meaning to release it in a nice sigh it came out it a small, silent yawn. Dismissing it for Haemish's next words Lars lifted his head off Haemish's body enough to look at him.
Lars was brought back to the present with the next spoken words. He didn't want to leave, he didn't even want to think about leaving. He was living for the now, and no matter how much he would miss everything, he had eternity to come back it sometime, everything important would still be there later. there's no use in fretting about the future when this moment was happening now.
"Ill stay as long as you want me to, Haemish." he said one decibel louder than a whisper. Lars wasn't quite sure if he had ever said Haemish's name aloud, but it sure did role off his tongue beautifully, like it was one of his first words. Just another proof that this was perfect.
Everything was going so right, Lars thought back to the kisses on the street. He bit his lip and smiled a half smile up at Haemish before Lars raised his arms to fall around Haemish's neck as before. Lars raised himself up on his toes again and touched his lips with Haemish's perfect ones. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

"Forever is a long time,"[/i] Haemish breathed lightly before Lars's lips reached his over the long distance. He lowered his head to help out slightly. Godly, indeed. he smiled to himself.
Just as everything should be. he thought blissfully as he stood so close to Lars. He was well aware that he was overly euphoric, and the feeling of being overwhelmed would return to him. He could feel darkness creeping into his brain as things began to slip slowly away. He did not want to lose Lars, even for a moment. Blinking hard in hopes of losing the numbness that had begun to crawl up his ankles, and the blackness that was beginning to form in the corners of his eyes even though they were closed. Although his body felt numb, he could hear everything intensely. His own breathing was amplified, as was Lars's. But his seemed to come in rapid gusts, making his lungs feel as though they might collapse.
He was unable to neglect it for much longer, just standing there with his arms wrapped around the miracle that was Lars, lips pressed to his. A pang of dizziness flooded his body, and it brought with it darkness. Unsure why he was suddenly dizzy, Haemish pulled back to look at Lars, but he couldn't see him, he couldn't see anything. Everything was black. He tried to speak but his words were breathy and a bit panicky. Oh no! I'm waking up! were the only thoughts that could cross his mind as he could no longer hear anything, or do anything. Lars's name manage to escape his lips before he felt himself fall to the ground. He hit the ground with a loud thud, then he felt himself slip into nothingness. Unconscious.

Lars relaxed into the kiss as Haemish to close the distance for Lars's feet. Every kiss seemed to be more intensified as time went on. Forever isn't long enough, he thought through the heavenly experience. He'd never felt this way through kiss before, what had he missed out on for his whole 23 years? Too much, he should have come to London many years ago.
Something was wrong, Lars could tell, he'd always been good at reading emotions, even before his transformation, he knew when to leave someone alone, or when something was out of place. He felt Haemish loose intensity and relax too much into it all. Lars began to pull away slightly to see the problem, because, by now Lars was pretty sure Haemish wasn't uncomfortable. He saw Haemish's glorious eyes close and him start to fall. Lars heard his faint but desperate call for his name escape the perfect man's lips. Lars attempted to catch Haemish on his fall down from consciousness.
Lars held Haemish's upper body up in his arms easily. Haemish was about Lars's weight, despite the hight difference, Haemish was tall, but slender, while Lars was short, and a bit stocky. But none the less Lars was sure he couldn't pick up Haemish and take set him down very nicely anywhere at a far distance. But he couldn't let him lie on the floor while he regained consciousness, so Lars gently dragged Haemish's tall body to the couch.
Lars lifted his upper body onto the comfortable surface, soon to be followed by Haemish's legs. Lars placed a chaste kiss on Haemish's unmoving lips. "How did this happen?" Lars spoke lightly to himself as he sat down on the ground near Haemish's handsome face.
He might be godly, but he never thought he could make someone faint from it. If they had been human, Lars would be more worried, but they weren't so, he really didn't have too much too worry about, Haemish would come around, soon, he hoped.

Haemish slowly regained feeling along his sides as it crawled up the length of his body. He wanted to open his eyes, to take a deep breath, and to make sure Lars was still there, but his upper body wasn't responding yet. He felt his toes wiggle slightly, which relieved him a little, but he still couldn't control anything but that. Slowly, he could move his lips, but no noise would come out of them. He mouthed several wors, but none came out. Getting a bit impatient - something that was very unlike him - Haemish tried several times to open his droopy eyes, without much success until, finally, they opened lazily. He looked around, aware that he was lying down somewhere, which wasn't the floor like he had expected. This worried him momentarily, since he briefly thought he was lying in his bed, after just awakening from a dream. Alas, there sat Lars. He heaved a sigh, and looked around once more. Shaking his head, still slightly disoriented, he realised he was only on the couch. He wasn't too surprised that Lars could move him, since they are vampires, after all. Super strength has advantages, of course.
Although, moving did feel like he was under water, he managed to reach a hand up to his face to rub his head, which was throbbing a little. "Lars?"[/i] he asked feebly, his voice sounding alien. It was then that he felt embarassed, just as the memories flooded back into his brain. He had passed out. Dammit. he thought, slapping himself mentally. What an idiot. Too much, he supposed; too much for his mind to take. He'd gone into emotional overdrive, and had suddenly felt so many things all at once, overwhelming his senses and eventually leading to fainting. But how lame he must have looked. "I'm so sorry,"[/i] he confessed, putting his head in his hands as he felt colour return to his face, but mostly to his cheeks which became a bright shade of pink.
Haemish really did not want to have to explain himself, but knew it would be best if Lars knew how long it had been since he had felt any emotional attachement to another being. Although, he was too embarassed to say anything just yet. He had not felt anything towards anyone since his first girlfriend who'd been slaughtered by a vampire. And before that, his first boyfriend, who had a similar run in with a vampire. And finally, someone had brought him out of his hiding place, but he ended up having more than just basic feelings towards that person, and after over three hundred years of not feeling love, or anything of the sorts, having them all come back within a matter of hours was overpowering. Hence why he passed out.

Lars kept his hazel eyes on the now waking Haemish. Even unconscious he was beautiful, maybe more. Being still like that, made him really look like a corpse with his pale skin and overall deadness. But it was still beautiful. Haemish began to stir as he moved bits of his body, but finally his eyes opened. Lars could see the momentary confusion and laughed in his head and bit his lip while he smiled up at his from regaining consciousness.
Lars heard his name faintly called again, he really did like it when Haemish said his name, he really did make it sound like a god's name. "Haemish," he responded back to let him hear his voice. Lars got up on his knees so he wasn't looking up at Haemish's form on the couch. He placed his elbows on the couch next to his body and smiled down at his disgruntled face. It was like a morning face, unwilling to wake up. Bu then his face was flooded with embarrassment as he verbally apologized, Lars smiled a different smile. He wasn't sure what smile it was, but it was one that was saying something more about Haemish being perfect.
"Don't be sorry," Lars giggled out as he pulled down Haemish's arms from his face, "That might be the best compliment ever, having someone faint over me like that, only makes my ego bigger," he joked as he kissed Haemish's pinked cheeks. It was cute when he got embarrass, but Lars could never actually think little of him, at least he hadn't yet, but he was sure Haemish wouldn't let him down.
Lars figured Haemish was just a little overcome, by Lars himself maybe. But he had said he hadn't really had ties with someone in 300 years, one night for everything to go intense was a drastic change. Lars had only gone 3 years without any real emotions, and before that he was used to extreme emotions. His emotions are what made him slightly human, he learned that early on. It was important to him to know how to read them. But he figured that was benefits to his parents, they had always been unique, loving, but they had definitely set him apart. taught him the real important things you didn't learn in school, reading emotions might of been one. It was too far back to remember. But good ol' Mom and Dad. Even after the divorce, when Lars's life went a bit downhill, he still loved his parents. They were probably worried about him now, they were still alive after all, as far as Lars knew. But Haemish, too old to really have proper family, Lars supposed. He didn't want to imagine growing old enough to out live your whole family, even though he'd have to go through it nonetheless.

Haemish let his upper body fall back onto the couch and stared at the ceiling for a moment. Taking a breath. he turned his head to face lars. He knew that his face was being squished, only slightly, agaisnt the pillow his cheek rested on, but didn't care enough to reposition from the somewhat comfortable place. He gave a half-hearted smile, still embarassed. "In that case,"[/i] he paused to flash his gleaming teeth in a grin. "you're welcome. Glad I did something right."[/i] Haemish let out a light chuckle, followed by a sigh. "You know, that's the first time I've passed out in a very, very long time."[/i] A shudder rippled up his spine at the memory. Of course, since everything he did led back to it somehow, the last time he passed out was when his friend was killed. His two experiences with vampires when he was human were the only two things that had ever happened to him that he could remember. Since after that, he only did three important, lifechanging things. Become a vampire, avenged his friend, and moved to england. Which is where he hid and didn't do anything since. Well, nothing worth remembering, of course. Until now. Now he wanted to remember this forever, and actually wanted to live forever so he could remember this. He got the sudden urge to pull Lars onto the couch with him and give him another hug, but resisted. That might seem a bit strange. [[yeahyeah, its short. forgive me, please -puppy dog face- I've gotta edit my book now.. since I've put it aside for this for too long. I wanted it finished by june 1st and Im only half way done ]]

Lars felt Haemish's body relax on the couch and decided to lie his own head down next to Haemish's middle. Lars savored the moment and closed his eyes temporarily just talking in all the other scents that made the experience even better. He placed his elbows up under his head after Haemish spoke and opened his eyes.
"So," Lars began, "Is that a good or a bad thing?" He asked with a light tone. Although, he hoped it was a good thing under the circumstances. Lars saw no bad in it, on the contrary he really did find it flattering in a weird way. Especially coming from someone like Haemish, who you would expect to see with some supermodel of sorts, but decided to hang out with him instead, that was flattering in itself. But, really Lars supposed, he himself was suppost to look like he was married to a supermodel, vampires do have its advantages. He just wasn't used to being so perfect appearing all the time.
Feeling left out on the floor Lars shimmied his way over to the head of the couch on his knees very close to Haemish's face that was now more serene. "Can I come up?" He asked with fake innocence. The couch seemed big enough to hold them both, even if it wasn't he didn't care that much, it was more fun when you were half falling off anyway.
But still, Lars felt as though they had much to discover about each other, but he didn't want to get too deep this time. Lars wanted to know the little things too. What was his favorite color? Human food? Season? Anything to help him know the small things about him.

Haemish's face morphed into a serious expression. "Knock yourself out."[/i] he said, his voice monotone, face still dead-straight before cracking into a grin. He laughed briefly at the irony then allowing a warm smile to flow easily to his perfect face. In the process, his new smile eliminated any trace of an ironic grin.
It wasn't too hard to make room for Lars on Haemish large couch, so he did just that. He slid his arm gently around Lars's shoulders to pull him closer. The small vampire was so irresitable. "And, I suppose it's a good thing, depending on how you look at it. And I'm in a good mood, so yeah, it's great."[/i] he laughed, looking over to Lars, before glancing around his living room.
Red, of course. The walls; deep red, and the rest of the furnishings and objects were black or, obviously, red. His favourite colour since before he was even a vampire. He loved the deeper reds and how they played in the room with black, and how much the bright red popped against black. He hadn't actually realised how red his room was until just now. Almost embarassed by his unoriginal colour pallat, Haemish looked back to Lars, ignoring his walls. So easily distracted.
"So, Lars. Tell me about yourself."[/i] he said humourfully. [[if thats not a word, I'm terribly sorry.]] Haemish was hoping as well to learn more about his companion. Learning about him would be great, but just to spend time with Lars was godly enough itself.

Lars's face grew into a tighter half smile as he climbed up onto the compact, but comfy couch. Something about couches was so more romantic and, shared more closeness to Lars for some reason. He just liked the idea of couches he supposed. From very past experiences as a teenager, to just how you could do nearly anything on a couch. It was a remarkable piece of furniture. But this couch was the most remarkable one at the moment.
He snuggled up against Haemish's side while he wrapped his arms around him. His smiled grew more comfortable and small as he sighed lightly from how good it felt to be in his arms. His long arms that fit around Lars's body with ease as one of his own rest around Haemish and the other in between them idly. "Good moods always help with making anything great." Lars said nodding lightly.
He caught Haemish's eyes wander around the room, but just continued to stare as his beautiful eyes fleeted around. The dark set of the couch was making them stand out brighter in the dim lamplight that cast red gleam along the room on account of the walls. It was a good color, different, vibrant, tasteful, warm, but all in good amounts. For what it was, Lars himself was more attracted to cool colors himself, dark blues, purples, greys, anything in between those lines.
"Well, that's vague," Lars laughed. He isn't good at telling about himself on a general level, he never knew what to start with, or would forget about key things. He bit his lip in short concentration to try and think of someway to make it easier. "Just, ask me something," he said softly, not worried of the outcome, "Anything."

[[OOC: sorry its short and crappy. excuse the odd typo too, new laptop and all :\ but I'm typing in the hospital waiting room, and I just wanted to make it quick because I dont want to abandon you. I need to get back to my brother though, so thats why its short. damn you drama!]] Haemish smiled lightly, returning his eyes to Lars. "Hmmm,"[/i] he thought, scanning his brain for a question he wanted an answer to. He felt a sly smile creep across his lips. "Would you rather be a human or a werewolf."[/i] he asked, raising his eyebrows. Best game ever. He'd played it plenty of times, when he had had friends that is, but still. It was usually more 'would you rather kiss Robert or Stuart' or something along those lines. He wanted to make some conversation, and that was the only thing he really had up his sleeve other than just random questions that would most likely go nowhere. Haemish rested his chin on the top of Lars's head, closing his eyes. He certainly hadn't felt that way in too long. But maybe it was a good thing. Because if he hadn't been closed off for so long, he wouldn't have gotten agoraphobia, and he wouldnt have met Lars. Surely he couldn't be that happy with anyone else. He'd known for a very long time that there was a piece missing, even while he had friends, as casual as they may have been. One can't stay alone as far as love goes for too long before they notice that they need it. He needed love, and then Lars came along and made him realise there wasn't much to fear, only loss. But that is a cowardly and pessimistic way to see it. He drew a deep breath and released it in a big sigh. EDIT: (adding more for you He felt tranquil, like he'd just been relieved of a horrible duty. As though he no longer had to do something he'd been dreading. Well, he didn't have to do something he was dreading. He didn't have to be alone anymore. He could take a risk; he could open up. Open up to more people, as friends atleast. He was all for that now that he knew what it would feel like. He'd been longing for someone to save him for so long, and then Lars came, like an angle. Like a guardian angle. Haemish felt himself smile, a broad smile that read delight all over it. The smile didnt end at his lips though, it spread across his whole face, into his eyes, which danced a sparkling electric blue.

Lars thought of his answer for only a millisecond. "Human. Most definitely!" he smiled out the answer, "I'm not into the whole, dog...and fur, animal...thing," he tried to say using intelligent words, but figured, dogs weren't that smart, why would they take offense to it? "Fury things, just, aren't my thing."
It was truth, Lars had an almost fear for larger animals and spiders, and just found rodents repulsive. Rats he had to live with all his life, growing up in the city, they were everywhere. Alley cats were around many places in New York too, but they were dirty and skittish enough for someone not too be too bothered by them. The only childhood pet Lars had was a tortoise, he had to release it to Central Park when it grew too big for the medium sized terrarium his family owned.
Lars felt Haemish's chin rest atop his head and became more comfortable were he was resting on his side. He smiled from the comforted sigh given off by his partner. It was a good sign, those sighs, Lars had learned. When times were relatively good and not exasperating, they usually gave people more relaxation, or boredom, but Lars was pretty sure that a god such as himself couldn't bore someone that easily, he hoped at least.
Haemish was the last person Lars had feelings for after his turn. His turner, was the last person he thought he loved, no, he knew he loved. But that was long forgotten when her own fear too over to leave him on his own, leading to a terrible chain effect. But that was all in the past, now that confusion he felt, he was truly alone before, but now he had someone, the emptiness, even he had was filled while he was rested across this couch.
"So how about you?" Lars asked gently, trying to make his voice not too perky as too break the tranquil feeling that was radiating from the body beside him. "What would you rather be?"

Haemish thought briefly about it. "Human,"[/i] he paused, thinking of the wording he needed for an explanation. "Everything matters so much more, since every moment could be your last. The prospect of death has always fascinated me..."[/i] he trailed off, not wanting to bore Lars with useless matters like his mind. He did mean it though, everything mattered more. Love was about the same, Haemish thought though, since being a vampire you had so much more time, you had to choose love carefully, and had even more time to spend with it. But as far as minor things go, being a human everything was signifigant. One thing always led to another. He did miss that a bit, being kind of numb to small things now.
"You hate furry things? I dont mind them, I suppose because I hunt them..."[/i] a sly grin crawled onto his lips. "I hate slimy things though, like snakes."[/i]
He thought of another one, hoping maybe one that could start a conversation of sorts. Unable to think of anything off the top of his head, he proceeded into favourites. "What's your favourite movie?"[/i] he asked, curious to know what sort of things Lars enjoyed. Haemish didn't know what sort of moods he'd like to see other people act out, which is why he didnt really watch TV. Nothing appealed to him about a bunhc of humans running about obsessing over different things and pretending to be other people. He prefered books, there wasn't any pretending. Books were truthful. Writing was lovely. Of course, he'd only convinced himself of that because the prospect of love - which was ALWAYS somehow incorperated into shows and movies - hurt him too much, so he didn't watch any movies. He might like to start again though, since he had actually needed to convince himself he hated movies.
Haemish had to stop himself from letting out a loud sigh once more, because he didnt want to seem totally sleepy or anything, but he was just so relaxed. He removed his chin from the top of Lars's head and rested his cheek on it instead.

Lars went solemn to think of Haemish's answer as the words left his lips. When he was human he'd never really thought about death. He'd thought about dying, but not death. If that made sense. He'd lived life in the moment, never really looking ahead any further then the next day, or at times the next few hours. He had no idea why he'd done it, too lazy, too much need for some entertainment, too curious to think ahead and think it all out too much. But that didn't necessarily mean he wasn't a thinker, he just never thought it in the context of himself.
So, he hunts animals, that's pleasant, Lars thought mentally scrunching up his nose. It's a good thing the mouth was a self cleaning oven. Lars thought he could never, ever do it, hunt animals. They were dirty, and just, scary, and dirty. He couldn't picture himself drinking off something that may possibly have fleas were you were biting into.
Lars chuckled at the thought of Haemish running from a harmless snake. Most of them were harmless anyway. They aren't slimy, silly, they're scaly! He thought in his head not letting his words be heard, no reason they couldn't have their differences.
"Movie?" Lars let out along with his breath, that he'd realized he'd been holding as to not blend out any of Haemish's speech. "God, I don't know!" He processed out loud in a breathy whisper tone. Anything favorite was hard for him to conjure, he like all sorts of things, scary movies, funny movies, romantic movies, anything that was actually good really. He knew that his all time would have to be back in the sometime '90's, because the movies now were good, but not novelty. Oh, now this is easy, he thought as the answer finally came to him, "The Labyrinth. Ya'know, with David Bowie as the goblin king guy?" he said with a smile, surprised he remembered the legendary musician's role in that film.
Lars wondered on if Haemish had even seen, or heard of the movie he was talking about. He had to of, it was a good movie. And really, 300 years of being 'alive' or existent rather, and you've never seen the Labyrinth, totally not possible!

Haemish bit his lip, thinking hard on the topic before finally replying. "Never heard of it."[/i] he said truthfully, but a little nervously' he wasnt sure if Lars was one of those people who got mad at you if you didnt see something, or like a certain thing. He was fairly sure Lars wasnt that unreasonable, but didnt want to assume. It wasnt necerssarily a bad thing, it was just that Haemish hadnt heard of, and didnt like a lot of things. Therefore, he wanted to be a bit careful in what he said, not wanting to ruin any part of the amazing night.
Haemish ran his free hand through his wavy brown hair, attempting to find his favourite, but he'd stopped several decades back, with the occasional slip up. "I dont really watch TV."[/i] he said, truthully once more. "How about Passtimes? What's your favourite passtime?"[/i] he asked, pretty sure he had been unsuccessful in starting a conversation over movies. Why pick the topic he knew the least about to start a conversation? He hadn't thought it over too well.
He placed his hand on Lars's shoulder, rubbing gently with his thumb, releasing a bit of a yawn. No, no, no, no. he thought to himself as he yawned. He didnt want to be tired. He didnt want to end the night. He wanted to be with Lars, and didnt want to miss anything.
