The feline cocked his head as he heard heart beat and footsteps coming up the stairs. His alarms went off because firstly, his lord and master didn't have a heart beat. Secondly, his master's gait was usually steadily silent, very much like his own instead of this jaunty, almost skip-like step. And last but not least, his master never awoke at this hour...
When a familiar human emerged from behind the curtain, Pyewacket didn't even blink. Somehow the cat had been expecting this from the first time the man walked into the store. His master may not have a pulse but he sure was pumping out just as much pheromones as the other male. And then they spend the whole night dancing around each other... Silly humans. They should be more like cats, one sniff, one look and that was all the foreplay they needed.
Courtship maybe, but still, it wouldn't have lasted as long as these two had.
The pat was met with a mewl of greeting and slow blink.
Then with a twitch of a long ruddy tail, the cat leaped off the work bench and followed the human like a shadow all the way to his master's chambers... He was a curious creature after all and he felt he deserved to know what was going on.
Meanwhile, said master was trying to rearrange himself now that the blanket had drifted down his torso and clung precariously to his hips. But he didn't have much time before he had company, and this time it wasn't just Hayaki alone.
Just as the door closed, the tailor was hit squarely in the chest by a furball of energy, bright green eyes staring straight into his own dark hues with a question laced in swirling irises.
Oliver rolled his eyes and scratched his pet behind his pointy ears.
"Steady there old boy, I'm not replacing you."
A few more seconds of hard staring before Pyewacket was satisfied, huffing a little before making his way down a pale body to slump gracefully by his master's feet.
"Honestly, silly cat, Master Hayaki is not a replacement..." he looked up into the mans eyes and shook his head, "No, he's more than that."
He smiled shyly when he noticed the sketchbook present.
"This is just for you and me. Ok. Mostly for me. But I think you're beautiful, and I want to show you what I see."
Oh if he could blush, he'd be bright red.
Instead he leaned up, cupped Hayaki's face in his hands and kissed his lips languidly but briefly, whispering across his lips.
"Show me Master Hayaki, s-show me all."
