Madison walked down the streets of Time Square. She had the night to herself. Her mother was watching Sophie. She sighed and sipped on the milkshake she had just gotten from the cafe. She hated being alone but ever since she had gotten pregnant, everyone disowned her but her mother.
Madison shivered as the wind picked up. That shiver wasn't only from cold, though. It was getting late and she had heard the stories about the creatures at the night. Her mother had been telling her stories since she was five. She saw a light glow of a building. Don't go in there, Madison! You don't know who or what is in there.
Madison shook her head. She was 19. She needed to have a little adventure in her life. She slowly walked towards the builiding. It looked as if it had been closed for years. She slowly pushed the door and it creaked open. She swallowed and slowly stepped inside. Her shoes softly clicking against the floor.
"Hello?"

The darkness had grew lighter as the door opened. It was spacious within, hollowed out and filled of emptiness. Dane had been crouched in the corner behind the door. When he heard a females voice spring out into action, his head lifted. This was unacceptable.
Dane's form crawled within the darkness, creeping towards the door. A cold pale hand reaching out faster than a blink. His hand covering her mouth before slamming his body against the door. It shut fast and tight, and he made sure she couldn't move from his grip.
"What are you doing in here?"
He asked through gritted teeth. His voice calm, yet in a sense, still rushed.
"Your not supposed to be in here."

Madison pushed the door more when no one answered. "Hello?" She walked in a little further. She left the door open. She saw something move in the shadows and she stopped walking. "H-Hello?" She was about to walk closer when something slammed her against the door. Madison tried to scream but the persons hand was over her mouth.
"I-I am sorry. There was a light and I just wanted to see what this building was." She closed her eyes, trying not to cry. God, I am so stupid. I shouldn't have come here. "I-I didn't know I wasn't supposed to be here. Please don't kill me. I have a daughter!"

Dane let out a breath before speaking.
"If I let you go, don't run. I assure you, I can outrun you, and I don't want to end up showing a mother how to follow directions. Okay?"
He asked. She would obviously say okay. They all did. His hand slipped slowly away from her mouth, and he loosened his grip to where she was free from his hold. He would wait til she turned around. Not walk in front of her.
"What's your name. What's the real reason you came in here."

Madison nodded as he talked to her. She turned around slowly when he let her go. She was shaking uncontrollby. She had never been so scared in her life. She slowly turned around to face the guy. She could tell it was a guy by his voice.
"M--" She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. "My name is Madison and I wasn't lying to why I was here. I was taking a walk and I saw the light. I just wanted to see what this building was. I didn't mean to intrude, I swear." She bit her lip and waited for his reply.

He noted her reply, biting his lower lip. His eyes darted towards the window before looking out of the dirty squares. No-one suspected anything. They heard nothing. He turned back towards her.
"Well, since you decided to make an unwise descission. I can't let you leave now can I?"
Dane didn't need this mortal spilling his where a bouts to anyone.
"Bloody Christ! You picked a hell of a night to peaking your nose where it doesn't belong.
Dane grabbed her hand and took her towards the back of the building. There had been a kitchen there, and a few shards of broken glass next to a bottle. Dane picked up the bottle and lifted the cap.
"Stand there."
He meant it to the middle of the room. Picking up a piece of glass and grabbing her hand.
"This is going to hurt some. I need to be sure your a mortal."
She would be reluctant, but he grabbed hard, taking the glass and making a cut on her palm. Blood spilling slowly while Dane took a tab from the bottle.
"This is going to read natural, or not. Simple hospital crap."
He smeared her blood onto the tablet then let her go. Walking back over to the sink to grab one of his cleaner towels. He tossed it to her so she could clean her hand. His hand flicking the tab and waiting for the reading.
"You have about twenty seconds to tell me wether or not this tab will reveal something else."

"B-But my mom is watching my daughter, I need to get ho-" He grabbed her by her hand and took her into the kitchen. She looked around. "What? I am a mortal." She looked at him, confused. She walked into the middle of the room like he told her too.
When he took glass and reached for her hand, she gasped. Oh god...I'm gonna die...Oh god. She closed her eyes as he cut her hand. "Ow." She squeezed the towel against her hand. "What are you talking about?" She was so confused. "I am mortal...Aren't you?"

Dane grinned, chuckling. His hand returning to the tablet. It wasn't ready yet. He turned to her once more.
"You have got to be kiddin me."
He sighed. Had he even spilled the beans before checking the experation date?
"Look, maybe you haven't heard the news. I don't care. I like my privacy. You could be the bloody police for all I know."
His accent piercing out more as his note of confidence went down some. The tablet read mortal indeed. She hadn't lied. His eyes furrowed before turning back to her.
"Well, I guess it's true."
He held up the tablet.
"But you can't leave. You might run off and tell someone that I am here, when we both know I am not supposed to be in here at all."
He quirked a brow, walking slowly towards her.
"Maybe tell your mum. Best friend. Lover?"
He stopped in front of her, a quizzical expression forming over his face.

Madison looked at him, so confused. "Am I kidding about what? What news? Who are you?" She watched as he checked the tablet that had her blood on it. "I told you I'm mortal now tell me why the hell I can't leave?" She started to get angry. She was confused and didn't know who this guy was. "What would I tell them? That I walked into a random building and met a man? My mom would probably be happy I met a man. I haven't dated anyone since Eric left." She stared deep into his eyes, wanting her answers.

Dane's face grew a bit dull. She wasn't going to tell anyone? He tossed the tablet into the sink, defeated. He was looking for a kill. Especially a werewolf.
"So...Who's Eric?"
He asked leaning against the counter. It was dingy, but he didn't care. This place wasn't supposed to be clean. It was run down. He wasn't going to give her answers. She was a stranger, and he was very secrative.

Maddison crossed her arms and stared at him. Who was this guy?" She sighed softly. "If you must know, he is my daughters dad. He left when he found out I was pregnant." She walked up to him and leaned against the counter, staring into his eyes. She stepped back a little when she saw how dark they were.
"Now, seriously, who are you?" There was fear in her voice. She knew something was up with this guy. "I can scream really loud." She threatended him. "Than you'll have to explain everything."

Dane tisked.
"You mortals. It amazes me how you treat each other."
He leaned forward taking a step as she moved.
"Perhaps you will learn that further down the road."
Her words made him revert back to seething.
"If you scream, I will cut out your tongue."
He thought for a brief second, his face expressing it.
"Hmmm. Then maybe I will let you go. Not sure yet."
He grinned wickedly.

Madison backed up as he came near her. "N-Not if I run." She was trying to act tough but she was failing miserbly. Her eyes got wide as he said he would let her go. "Y-You will?" She sighed when he said he didn't know and looked down. "Sophie..." She whispered.

"Yes, because then you wouldn't talk. Sure, you could write it. But how would you take care of your child without both your tongue and fingers?"
He grinned with a wicked laugh. He straightened out after she spoke. Perhaps it was the name of her child, maybe not. Dane brushed off his anger.
"Look, don't say a word, and I will gladly let you leave."
He approached her in a rather quick way.
"Open your mouth, and what I told you.....that thought will become a reality."
Dane said lowly. He didn't know if anyone else was around, but he made sure she damn well heard it. Her hand, still the blood scent hung in the air, and he was beginning to get hungry again.

Madison whinced as she thought of her baby girl talking but not her. She cringed at his anger. "What would I tell them? I can't even believe what I am seeing." She looked up at him. "Please...Let me go. I won't say a word. I just want my baby girl." She reached in her wallet and showed him her picture. "Her name is Sophie." Her bloody hand touched his as she took the picture. Blood smeared on his hand. "Opps sorry."
