James was crouched down behind some sort of dead plant. Not the cover he was expecting, but it would do. It was his turn to bring home some dinner for the pack. Another thing he wasn't expecting. Lately they haven't been wanting the 18 year old boy to go out at night. When Gavin came to him and gave him his mission, he couldn't refuse. He had to get out of that stuffy little house he shared with twenty werewolves.
His liquid brown eyes were set upon a rabbit. To his disappointment, he couldn't find a deer or bear in sight. Too bad, he would have liked the challenge. So far he had six rabbits and five fish. He was a favorer of the fish, but he also had to think about the seafood haters of the group.
London wasn't their home. James was raised in New York City by his family, betrayed by his father, and then unwillingly bitten by the pack's leader, Gavin. They were in London on a sort of vacation. They found a nice little town to crash in that was vampire free. This vacation was mostly for James.
In the past three months, James had managed to get himself into a lot of trouble with the vampire species. This included being held hostage, hunted down, physical fighting, and nearly getting half his pack killed. He was a reckless one. He didn't understand why the pack was so forgiving!
He was just having no luck. He did manage to relieve the world of three vampires. Three. That wasn't a lot. James protested to this trip, but Gavin would have none of it. "Just take a break for a little while. When we get back, we'll all be right behind you," he reassured the boy.
James returned his attention back to the rabbit which was munching happily on some grass. James made the slightest movement and it's ears perked up. James got down lower and the rabbit resumed it's dinner. This would be the last one before he would return back to the pack with his kill. James was careful to not even breathe. The slightest noise would send the furry critter hopping away...

It had been such a long grueling night thus far. So many different thoughts fluttering through his mind. The leader, Annabella, That bitch he couldn't stand. Often at times, like this one, he couldn't quite remember her name. Chills ran through his body just thinking about her. Sometimes he hated killing his own kind, but there were so many vampires out there, he just didn't care. He was sure Xavier might not approve of such things, but Sevanni was often uncontrolable.
He had seen this one before. The dark haired, fair skinned kid who was often not in the best spots. He had rented a flat across the street from one of the local tattoo parlors. It was daylight out, but he had his ways of making things work.
Telescopes and binoculers just did not work. Experience of course, this is based on facts. His burning skin.
His hands turned into fists, which balled on the side of his body. Arms slightly limp but so stiff and ready.
"How the hell can they eat that crap?"
He asked himself. Freakin mortals of course. Sevanni didn't quite like mortals. Sure, they were good for a nice meal once and a while or as often as needed. But his thirsts were always set higher. The trouble here is that he couldn't smell him from such a far distance.
He had been hiding from him for quite some time. Watching him chase after animals and stupid creatures. But this is where it got interesting.
A sort of sense came over him. Almost as if a low hum was whispering through his torso. His eyes were slightly closed. Focused. That's it!
Sevanni's eyes grew wild as he realized what the problem was. The hungry animal eater was a no good filthy dog. That evil look. Cowering brows with hateful eyes. He was also delighted at the same time.
"My favorite Meal........"
He grinned evily.
"Dog meat."
His head tilted to the side as he cracked his neck. He eased his body so he would calm down. He was sure that they could smell him too, but he wasn't quite sure of it.
"Let's see if you are a worthy contributer."
He said at last before he realized the boy was following a bunny trail. His body had already been still, and as he noticed the thing etching towards him, he smashed down hard with his hand. Grabbing the bunny by it's entire head. He knew now his presence was made. He didn't care. It's what he wanted.
He looked at him with a slightly tilted head, grinning as he spoke to him.
"Lose something?"
His snide sarcastic remark pulling through that gruff exterior.

The vampire just came out of thin air. James mentally beat himself up. He should have sensed him but he had so many other things on his mind! How stupid could be possibly be? But this time, the vampire found him. He didn't anticipate this or bring this upon himself. James smiled briefly. Oh, Gavin would love to hear this story. He told him he didn't want to come to London!
James stared the vampire in it's cold eyes as he stood up. He could handle him. It was just one. But this particular vampire frightened James in a way. His gut told him this was not a dead-guy to mess with. Right now, he didn't care about the rabbit the vampire squished. All he cared about now was keeping his nose clean and leaving here without a scratch. What would Gavin believe? He would accuse James of finding the vampire himself, that's what he would believe.
Food could wait. "Go away," he told him sternly. The kid wasn't very tall or muscular. James stood at 5'3. This vampire was older and bigger than him. He had every advantage possible.

Sevanni watched him as he stood. His head tilting upward while looking down at him as if he were about to do something. It was a 'watch it' kind of look, but he didn't sense anything of a threat out of him.
Sevanni laughed a little. It was more of a tisk then anything. He stepped out of the bush, a few steps closer to the boy. Half expecting him to take a few steps back while doing so. Sevanni put his hand up. Palm facing him. He wouldn't harm him. Not now anyway.
"Go away?"
He chuckled now. The rabbit dead in his hand, chucking it to the ground on his right. He wondered if that would make this mutt hate him even more for wasting food. His food no less. He didn't care. He was rather curious. Someone so bold to rescue someone in broad daylight was beyond him. Yet Sevanni could feel his slight attendence of fear.
"Well, that's a new one."
He looked him up and down. This was the first time he had ever seen him up close. He was much delighted inside, but his composure said otherwise.
"Now tell me...."
Taking a few steps closer to him.
"What is a mutt dog like you wandering around alone in a world of vampires?"
It was their world. Vampires were going to take over everything. Killing the mutts' off one by one. Sevanni had ideas of seeing their heads bordered around the clan houses. Letting everyone know what happens when you cross their race. They were either food or a waste of DNA.

James didn't back down. He was frightened of this vampire but he would never let it show. No fear. That's what his pack taught him. His palms were up in a surrender anyway. James hated it when Sevanni scanned him over with his cruel eyes. Sizing him up. If he didn't know any better, he'd say this vampire wasn't here by mere accident. His gut told him this also.
Fury seized James's muscles for a split second at his next words. He had the urge to shift into a wolf, tackle this guy, and take a few chomps out of him. When he spoke, his tone was level. He was careful to show no emotion, but he figured the vamp had seen his small loss of control.
"You're world? What makes you think vampires rule this world? If there ever was a change, then werewolves would take control of everything. Your kind would become extinct. I say the sooner the better," he countered.
((It's super short! Sorry, meh muse has gone somewhere))

OOC- It's okay. I will be offline for an hour or so, so if there is no reply, don't worry, I will be back. IC -
Oh this kid was joking. Sevanni grew terribly angry within himself. He balled his fists harder, the energy emerging within his form would let him know he wasn't to be trifled with.
"Sooner the better?"
Oh man. This was not going to be good. No one, not even that mutt warewolf he bit but weeks ago.
Hmmm. He had to find her once he is back in New York. He shook it off.
"You little son of a ....."
He trailed off, approaching a bit. He remembered who he was. He didn't really need this. He loved to fight. It was his thing. Stalking, fighting, and unadulterated massacre. He stood, stepping back before he blew it. He wanted to taunt this one. Something like a play thing for his collection.
"If I were you, I would watch my tongue. You might miss it in the end."
He quirked a brow and grinned evily at the boy. He had thoughts inside of his head. Everytime I meet a mutt I know they have outlived or have shamed their family. Perhaps that might kill his spark. Smug little punk.
"I don't think you parents would like that very much. Do you?"
Raising his head slightly, waiting for a response.

When James saw his words affected him, he was slightly surprised. He wasn't even trying that hard. This vamp had a temper. James folded his arms across his chest. He liked that he wasn't the only one who wanted to beat the living daylights out of his enemy. His last words were low. Really low. Low even for a vampire and that was the lowest you could get. Scum.
James had quite the tongue. Sometimes, he could settle a fight just with it. He was rather fond of his tongue so he chose not to anger this vampire with it anymore. He would save it for someone... worthy.
"My pack wouldn't care what I said to a vampire. I live with them. My parents are dead," because of filthy bloodsuckers like yourself! James wanted to add, but thought better of it. "I think you've been tracking me. Why?" James demanded. He had to get to the bottom of this.
((Okie Dokie!))

Sevanni smirked and nodded to the mention of faults. This made him so joyous. To his question, Sevanni was amused by such an outward motion. His arm stretched and his hand found a nice red apple hanging from a nearby tree. It was slightly withered, aging. He bit it anyway after looking at it.
"You know. It's funny how you run into people these days. One minute your here."
He took a few steps around him. His feet sketching over the mass.
"The next, your there."
He threw down the crab apple and spat the rest out onto the ground.
"But you."
His index finger raised slightly. He was thinking. Sevanni. His head turned up to look at him.
"You seem to be everywhere I travel. And I don't know why I always see you. But I do know that you have the most incredible scent of blood I have ever took hold of."
He sniffed the air slightly.
"See? "
He sniffed again.
"Oh that smells very good."
His eyes drowning in on him.
"I love dog meat. Makes me feel.......alive."
He chuckled. He loved tormenting those around him. Especially mutts.
"Look, we can stand here chit chatting all day, or you could ask the right questions. What's it gunna be?"
He smirked. There was no other reason. The reason was the boy was a hound. A fur ball. He hated them, and since he was so close to the pack leader, he had a better chance at getting what he came for.

If James could spit at this monster he would. He was taunting him. He was so smug, the way he danced around the truth. He hated him. He hated every fiber of his being. He knew something he wasn't telling him. James wold have to play twenty questions to get his answer.
James thought for a minute. He decided to take a shot at it blindly. If this vampire had been where he's been, then he must have seen enough to gather his history, personality... relationships. James eyes widened. "You know about Litte." he said in barely a whisper. He knew of the vampire he was trying to train. The vampire he just recently began to love...
"You have no business melding in my affairs. What would you gain from this?" he wanted his answer. Why hadn't he ever detected this vampire if he'd been following him around the globe? What was this guy's deal?

Sevanni liked that he was toying with him. His demeanor spoke so many untold truths about his character. He knew very little of the boy. He had seen him a mere few times. He knew that he was close to the pack leader. And oh yes. The thought of her name brought flutters into his mind.
His eyes reamed slightly narrow. Sending him a sharp look.
"Better watch your tongue boy. You don't know who your speaking to so i will let it go just once."
He knew that the kid would know why he sent out is displaced anger. Little was a cute little kitten that seemed so earthy. She was a different kind of vampire. Something that he had never seen in a vampire remained in her. He just hadn't figured out what that was. Not just yet.
"All you have is questions? You have no right to question me or anything I do. Your a filthy mutt. I don't like muts."
Came his reply. Sevanni had let this dog meddle in his business far too much. Perhaps Little would like a trophy for her plate. Mmmm. That sounds tasty. He wondered if he should actually mention it.

"Well then why don't you tell me exactly who you are instead of playing this childish game. Who's the 18 year old boy here, huh? Maybe if I knew the slightest thing about you... a name? Perhaps then you would strike me with real fear instead of this cowardice," James bit his tongue immediately after he said those words. He just couldn't help himself. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
James scowled. The damage was done. He could take a hit, physically too. He did know about Litte. His face sung with the knowledge. Glowed in it. If he touched one hair on Litte's head, he'd give this vampire something only a surgeon could fix.
James began pacing, he didn't like standing still for so long. He sniffed the air around him, memorizing the vampire's scent. They were alone in this forest. It wouldn't be wise to lead this vampire to his pack at all. He had to take care of this himself.

Sevanni was rather furious that he spoke to him in such a tone. He never gave his name either. So what pleasure did it bring him to know Sevanni's? Not a damn thing. It was none of his business.
"Your words do not seem to be staying in the lines of respect little one. Your tongue should remain in respectable tones when you speak to me."
He slid a small athame from the inside of his jacket. Tapping it against his open fingers.
"The tongue. I don't mind cutting it out."
He smirked. Sveanni didn't really take to such tools. They were for mortals to use rather then for a vampires. But he did enjoy the smooth steel of the blade across his flesh.
"You see...." He began with intruige in his voice. "You, and aaaaall your little mutt friends have been in our way for as long as I can remember. " He took in a breath then looked at him while pacing a bit.
"But you. " He chuckled a little bit. "You are something different. A dog yes, but there is something quite not right with you. " He quirked a brow. "Do you follow me here?"
He put his left arm down, the right holding the athame and holding it up for him to remember his tongue.

James glared at the long silver blade in disgust. He just about had enough with knives. What was it with vampires and sharp things anyway? What use are they when the abominations have fangs? He thought back to his last fight with pointy objects. He had gotten himself some nice scars, his body was covered in them. Not attractive at all.
He wanted to know why this vampire despised him so. He didn't even know the guy! Don't get him wrong, he hated vampires just the same. But he never taunted them like this unless he knew something about them. He didn't have time for conversation when he was destroying one of those bloodsuckers. He just did it and left. No exchange of silly taunting words.
He didn't understand what Sevanni meant. What was wrong with him? He seemed a normal enough werewolf. He had to say no. He wasn't following this guy at all. He wondered, though. He never thought about how vampires saw him. He didn't care. But he was curious. What was so different about him that got himself stalked down like this?
"I don't understand. Aren't I no different from any other werewolf you met?" he spat bitterly.

He tisked his teeth over and over again before speaking.
"There you go again. Using harsh tones."
He closed his eyes for a harsh second then reopened them to look at the boy.
"Why don't you show me, that way I can show you?"
Sevanni had to do something to get him to react. He needed that sample. No matter the cost. Evil would eventually run over good, not to mention the furry mutts running all over thier territory.
Before Sevanni said anything else, with amazing quickness, he found himself inches from him. Sevannis right hand grasping the boys shirt, flinging him hard against the massive rock statue behind him. He hoped it would have done some damage. But dogs were always adamant when it came to dying.

James got ready to respond something witty and sarcastic when he was rudely tossed into the air. His back hit the solid rock. Ouch. James groaned. He leaned against the rock and tried to ignore the stinging pain that encircled his back. Something in his head changed his focus.
Let me out.
No. He would not do it. He refused to let that monstrous animal in him free. He would not change. He would not do what that bloodsucker wanted. He pushed and shoved it away. It was getting harder by the day denying this wolf.
He was angry. Angry that he could let some vampire walk all over him. He wouldn't give up that fast. He was stronger, he knew it. Reckless was all he could be, but not tonight...
"I will not shift into my wolf form to please you. I take orders from my pack leader and him alone." James hissed. The wolf told him differently. Kill. Kill this bastard. Vampire. All vampires must die. James tried his best to ignore it. This vampire would not make him change.
