If he was searching for an understanding, he wouldn't find what he was looking for in her. At least not completely. Aubrey could understand hating what you are, but she wasn't sure if he really realized what he would be forfeiting if he was to become a vampire.
"You would be losing alot. You would be forfeiting alot." She sighed. Forever cast into the night, feared, hated, eternally damned. She pulled his face closer to hers and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.
Aubrey was going to say something to try and discourage him further, but suddenly she felt Xavier call out to her. An irritated sigh escaped her lips. She was previously engaged tonight. "I have to go Blake." her face was still pressed against his and her breath mingled against his cheek.

Blake stiffened slightly as her lips brushed his cheek, but relaxed again almost immediately. "I have nothing left to lose, Aubrey. he said quietly. "I no longer have anything to live for. I have no one. To me... this is the chance to really know what it's like to belong somewhere... even if that somewhere is Hell itself."
Aubrey told him that she had to leave.
"Please... I know this is selfish... And I know it might even be wrong... but I will never rest in peace until I am where I belong. And it's not with the living."

Aubrey could feel Xavier's rising impatience. She had to follow around the rumored traitor tonight and he did not want her stalling any longer. She suppressed a much deserving growl.
She smiled at Blake and pressed her lips against his. The kiss was light an Innocent. She removed herself from his side, sliding down off of the well. "I have to go now Blake. I'll see you around though." She winked at him and pranced out of the knoll.
She turned back once and waved to him. "I promise." Her whisper faded away and she followed.
