A bit of graffiti for old times sake(open)

"I know," Tala sighed still ashamed in herself, "I'm just to used to it I guess. You know, I've never really met people who didn't hit me." She looked down at her feet not wanting to see his expression. "I'll be able to control it one day, it's just a reaction, I always want to help people because I was never helped and now look at me!" She leaned on the brick wall for awhile wondering why she was such an idiot.

[Ellie]

"Aww, come here Mousy!" Lars streched out his arms and grabbed her into a giant bear hug. His ciggarette fell to the ground n doing so. "See! I was right! Cookie Dough!" he laughed, "And I know your taste to prove it, too!"

Tala smiled even though she was still sad and hugged Lars back.

"Hey! I can be tough if I want too!" Tala laughed and sighed. She liked Lars, but she was still nervouse, she had never truste anyone before. And like she said, everyone was mean to her. Would Lars do the same? She calmed down trying not to let him see the worry in her eyes.

[Ellie]

He pulled away and looked at her. "Something still wrong..." he started, "I can tell". He wasn't a phsycologist but he'd been to many in his years. He hated it, it didn't help. But he had always found sancuary spilling his feelings out to his friends. Maybe thats all she needed. "C'mon", he motion over to a bench as the rain was clearing up. "Sit, spill. Tell me everything"

Tala looked down at her feet and held her hands together in front of hers.

"It's nothing, it's fine, don't worry about," The words spilled out of her mouth quickly trying to cover for herself. She sat down on the bench though, pulled her knees up and put her head on them. Out of her knees she murmered, "I don't want to tell you, you'll be upset at me for just thinking it." She would be storng, she told herself. She had to be, she couldn't break to pieces in front of someone.

She looked up at Lars for a second and then put her face back in her knees. She wondered how he would react. She hoped he didn't get mad, most men had tempers. She sighed and then looked back at Lars.

[Ellie]

"Aww c'mon!" he urged as he wrapped an arm around her, "I wont jugde I swear! You can't keep it bottled up forever you know! You're gonna have to tell someone sometime...I haven't given you a reason to feel worried around me have I ..I don't think. I don't know what happened...and I won't understand til' you tell me. Plus it'll help you. You will feel like a huge chip's been lifted away...I huge chip from that cookie you are", he finnished with a smile.

"Well," she started, "back when I was human and lived in Tokyo my family was mean. They tried to raise me like a proper little girl. You know me, I got into trouble for protests. They hit me alot, and even when I was a vampire other vampires hit me. That's putting it short too. So, I was being stupid and thinking you'd be like the rest." She let her head fall onto her knees again.

[Ellie]

He didn't say a word. Never in his life had his family abused him, not intentionally, or physically for that matter, most of that was self inflicted. He looked at her thoughtfully, worry still evedent in his face. He took both her hands in his, forcing her to unwrap herself and stared her square in the eyes. "I would never do that to you, understand? You have my promise", his normal lighthearted spirit was gone as he said the words slowly in all seriousness.

"I know you wouldn't." Tala smiled halfheartedly, "I told you I don't know why I even thought it. I'm sorry." She let her legs fall off the front of the bench, just barely touching the ground. She looked at Lars and then looked back down. She moved into Lars side and relaxed against him. She could tell he was worried about her, btu she wasn't sure why, she told him what was wrong, why would that worry him?

[Ellie]

He help her tight in the hug, not letting go. He rested his head on hers and she leaned against him. "I promise" he said again just to make sure. "But tell me, if you don't mind, why does it still bother you?..They're gone!"

"Well, I just expect it will happen again. It always does. And I hate seeing people fight because I don't want them feeling the same way I did." Tala put her cheek on Lars neck, with his head rested on hers. She felt safe with him, like no one would ever hurt her and no one ever would. She hated having him have to comfort her though, why should he sit here just because I'm in a bad mood? She didn't think it was fair, but she didn't want him to move. Tala smiled, even though he wouldn't be able to see it.

[Ellie]

"It's healthy for people to fight...once in a while. It's just unnatural if you don't. But ofcourse abuse isn't right..." he trailed off, "Well, that's what my phsyciatrist said, when my parents were getting a divorce, that sucked. But I think that might be on eof the few things he was right about."

[vampirexxdancing]

"I know, it bothers me still though. I'm better with it than I used to be." Tala laughed against Lars, "Yeah, phsyciatrists say something smart every once and awhile." She moved her hands from her lap and brushed hair out of her face and then finally returned Lars hug. "Divorces and abuse are a lot more common than they used to be though, so I guess I shouldn't make a big deal out of that type of stuff."

[Ellie]

"Well, I mean...you shouldn't go around assuming everytime people fight it..that bad. Ofcourse it deserves a big deal though." He said. "But I'm not one to talk...I've had a peachy life, compared to you. I was mean to myself, really.."

[vampirexxdancing]

"Why were you mean to yourself? Who could ever be mean to you?" Tala laughed, breathing down Lars neck. She turned her head to look up at him so he could see her smile. She moved her arms back to her lap and then moved her back onto Lars chest, so they were still touching. Then she pulled on her miniskirt to keep it in place, and laughed trying to lighten up the mood. She wasn't one to talk of serious things for long.
